MH Freedom 2 is the one you should buy and there isnt a story other than you're a hunter and you hunt things, MH freedom unite is an expansion to freedom 2 but focuses on teamwork.

Get Unite, it comes out on June 23/2009, it has everything in Freedom 2, Portable 2nd G, both of those games are in Unite!! (Monster hunter portable is an extra long version of Freedom 2 and it was only in Japan. Now they are making that Japanese game into English called: Unite)

well, you have a home at the start, and i dont know if you can have other houses cause this will be my first monster hunter game, that USA demo was easy. but ya, its kinda like Fable and Fable 2, its also like the Zelda games for N64, i cant wait to get it!!!!, and if you think its too hard and you have cfw, then use hacks, but i'm not going to use hacks on it cause then it ruins the game, i only use hacks on games after i finish beating it!!!!!
