  • SPEAK THAT WORD! Nia is beautiful, you fake women need to stop hating on her

you want. Stp hating Broads..... Nia beautiful!

  • red

  • I'm still in Love with this woman

  • I just adore Nia Long, she is so beautiful and well spoken and talented! She is adored!!!!

  • BEAUTY IS NOT WEARING FAKE HAIR AND THOSE WINDSCREEN WIPERS FOR EYELASHES!! Being comfortable in that crap is just unnatural!

  • Weave isn't self hatred....Its a form of protective styling... At the end of the day hair is hair no matter how you wear it....Embrace one another and their decisions, obviously she is a proud black women.

  • @KeKay0802 Someone obviously missed the point.

  • @synthie100 weave isn't self hatred, it's a way to explore different looks that fits you best. Iwear my real hair out and I wear weave, and I love myself more than anyone or anything. Try not to be so narrow minded.

  • black is beautiful

  • Nia Long is a bullshitter, someone like her can talk because it's obvious she really cute. you might as well say pigs are beautiful too HUH!!!

  • She is so amazing

  • i love Nia she is soo real! who is the one idiot that disliked this?

  • We need to create roles for OURSELVES. If we wait on Hollywood to give us a crumb, we'll starve. We need to create our own production companies etc.

  • EVERYBODY SAYS NIA LONG IS PRETTY IVE NEVER REALLY HEARD ANYONE SAY SHE WASNT

  • a dog with spots can mate with a dog with stripes still have adorable puppies,a orange cat can have sex with a black cat and have beautiful normal healthy kittens.hope you get my point.look @ nia she has chinky eyes she can have native american indian in her,or asian in her.we all have features and things from other races,we are all mixed.in MY opinions.

  • She is very inspirational and she speaks the truth! I personally loved all her roles that I have seen and appreciate her acting! I hope to see her in bigger and brighter light because she deserves it!

  • I disagree with all the Nia Long thinkers out there. I love you all, but maybe the reason why you're not getting the Halle Berry roles is because your acting is not as good.Stop looking for ghetto roles and start looking for REAL roles. I'm just saying.

  • @lambsquad17 Halle Berry a good actress you got to be kidding me! Halle Berry has played thee most ghetto role from a junkie to an illiterate waitress screwing a man that murdered her husband. We know halle gets the roles because she has a white mother and they use her as the standard for black actress to screw with non mixed black people heads. It's all a game and propaganda to make real black people those with a black moma and daddy question their self worth.

  • In Santo Domingo its all about surviving. Very sad

  • very beautiful person inside and out!

  • She's beautiful and underrated. Too bad it seems only the lighter skinned African-American and Latino women make it in Hollywood.

  • so many people with mixed race parents are beautiful. it's disproportionate.

  • I love intelligent celebrities-that's beauty!! They give me hope and enlightenment!!!! :D

  • She's GORGEOUS! I love her intelligence and vibe.. soo amazing!

    ♥♥♥♥ Viva

  • She is sooo pretty!!

  • PEOLE SAY I LOOK LIKE HER!

  • Nia looks even more beautiful with a big ol Afro!

  • You Bet'a Say It Ms. Long! It Already Comes Across On The Silver Screen. Wun Love.

  • hater ass bitch oh u care about not acting in movie they give BEY

  • @thugangel2009

So you prefer fake beauty over natural beauty?

You'd rather support someone who sold their soul for fame?

  • @thugangel2009 I am a latina and ever since I was young I thought Nia Long was so underrated as an actress and incredibly beautiful...Love Jones all the way! I wish she did more film..maybe hollywood will get it someday.

  • @KWEENMOANA SHE DON'T GET A LOT OF ROLE BECAUSE SHE'S NOT HIGH YELLOW OR LOOKS LIKE YOU.......it's hard for dark skinned females even if we are more intelligent, sexy etc

  • @Imhungry4success Whether your dark skinned or not should not matter that was my point. Hollywood needs to wake up. BTW you need to educate yourself on latinas because we have blonde and blue eyed latinas and we have black sistahs too. Dont put us in a box and assume that I look a certain way just bc I say I am latina. We are the most diverse woman on earth.

  • So true, and so beautiful!

  • Nia is amazing I hope she finds Yeshua! Sisterhood Hmm not in this day or age! it a lovely thought though! (^__^)

  • Her and Lauryn Hill are 2 of the most beautiful women on earth... If not THEE most beautiful women on earth...

  • "Being fearless is being faithful....it's the same thing". That's an interesting point!

  • She's been the most beautiful to me since "Friday".

  • Shes gorgeous her and Theresa Randle, damn!!!

  • CORRECTIONS NIA. Poor or Middle Class people are taught to survive and WEALTHY or Upper Class people were taught to GET RICH or Invest. NOT BLACK PEOPLE or WHITE PEOPLE... and that's the Truth.

  • @avonmarkproducts please..she's black and im sure she KNOWS her ppl. && who is rich in this world? Sure not black ppl If u aren't dribbling a ball or a rapping a song you aint got no money.I mean there are rich black ppl but its soooooo not common unless ur a celeb. And what nia sd is true,Most white ppl are already set up in life. when u turn 16 u gotta car. When u graduate u got a college tutition set asiide& black ppl ALWAYS have 2 start from NOTHING so u dont no shit

  • @bristay1: Sorry for your poor mentality. You speak from personal experience & the environment you grew up. You're able to see wealthy Black Celebrities but many Black Millionaires are NOT CELEBRITIES—never in front of a Camera—unknown by you & the community. Believing that "it's not common for Black ppl" (unless Athlete or Famous) and THINK that "MOST white ppl" are 'SET for life' is so Ignorant. This Mentality that is passed down from generations is a Huge OBSTACLE in the community.

  • @avonmarkproducts come on now , how many black millionaires do YOU know? lmao If sum1 is a black millionaire gotta know his ass is a SELL out with a white wife and mixed kids.Im honestly gonan google the number of black millionaires. All of the huge black owned companies were BOUGHT out.So they may have millions but then the white man ends up fucking the shit up and making more money still !

  • @bristay1 sotell me where did gold, diamnds, coco, and oil com from? In the majority of African countries credit cards aren't used, wehn you buy something it's cash down, whether houses, carr, jewellry etc. There are so many black millionaires married to black people and doing well. What you'v seen, I don't know where fom is minority or very wrong.

  • Comment removed

  • @avonmarkproducts Kudos for that comment!!!!! :)

  • @hotsugargirl: THANKS!

  • @avonmarkproducts Sorry love, even with that being said! there is a even bigger struggle when you are a middle class black.

  • @avonmarkproducts If you look at the demographic that you speak of there aren't many black people in the Wealthy category. Usually if there is they are athletes or entertainers, the "lottery winners" of the lower class. So it can be looked at the way she put it.

  • she is very Beautiful. But it Natural. She dont need makeup.

  • LOVE THIS! LOVE HER!

  • but im mad at her for talking about self love and beauty with that WEAVE ON HER HAIR!!!!!

  • @treehuggerdude4 lmfao o hell nawl!

  • @treehuggerdude4: so what you're saying is that people who wear accessories like WEAVE think they're Ugly?

  • @avonmarkproducts what i am saying is that if you are going to go on the record saying " Beauty is being comfortable in your own skin", its important to be consistent and not to sew somebody else's hair on top of your head. Cause that is not being "comfortable in your own skin"... or more specifically, being proud of your natural hair

  • @avonmarkproducts people who wear weave to cover their natural hair are not proud of their natural hair, or their culture. She is submitting the white standards of beauty and is not accepting her natural african hair as beautiful ( cause she is covering it with somebody else's hair .)THATS what im saying.

  • @treehuggerdude4 Don't agree. I notice when I wear weave i get more attention from everyone- men and women all races. And my natural hair is beautiful- i think - thick and a nice length. The issue- women of every race except BW usually have longer hair- likely due to the straighters we use. And men love long hair. Its not a matter of not being proud- its doing what works. Society determines that. Black people do love our features- everyone else doesn't. Some small changes work better in society.

  • i guess to each their own. If you like your hair that way, its your decision. As long as you love your hair, i guess thats all that matters..... i just like women who dont straighten their hair but... to each their own...

  • Comment removed

  • @treehuggerdude4

Women who wear weave are not interested in that tired old black pride arguement. No one has to be proud of something that they do not like. What is it about afro hair and black culture that we are supposed to be so proud of? it is a load of rubbish. Leave people to do as they choose.

  • @synthie100 your right. People have a right to do as they choose, however they feel most comfortable. However, the idea of NOT liking your hair enough to sew someone elses onto your scalp? Thats alot of self hatred i think. But thats just my opinion. If people like putting harsh chemicals into their scalp or getting EXPENSIVE weaves sewed into their hair, its their decision. I just think that rather than try so hard to pretend to have different hair, its better to accept the hair we got.

  • It's all cosmetic though. I feel you can do things to yourself that make you feel better about the way you look to a certain degree. I love when women wear their real hair but if they don't and they decide to do something different I'm fine with that too. Chemicals, I won't fight with you over that. Sew-ins, I don't feel are bad at all. There is no damage and I feel it looks nice. I mean where does the list end, tattoos are worst but people do it.

  • @treehuggerdude4 funny hairstyle for a black lady

  • @treehuggerdude4 sometimes i just want a different style and look cause i get bored with my natural hair. i (personally) don't hate it. and just because someone chooses to process, or do a sew in to their hair doesn't mean they hate it

  • @treehuggerdude4 ....when women decide to use chemicals and weaves, it doesn't mean "self hatred", it just shows how american society has set the standard for "Beauty", and how thick/nappy hair was viewed as bad.... Ultimately, every person wants to feel acceptance, or a sense of belonging...using chemicals or weaves is just a reflection of that beauty standard... I recently went all natural and threw in the towel on chemicals and weaves. What a feeling! I'm free!

  • good questions... great vid!

  • It's very poignant what she said about people being "spectators" in your life. Get them out!

  • I cant stop looking at her beautiful chinky eyes 0_o

  • she cleans her friends house...woooowww

  • I think she actually meant "ingrained" instead of ingraded @ 1:20. Nonetheless, I just adore this Sista's vibe. Totally! Working in the entertainment industry, I see tons of gorgeous women. However, this lady is literally beautiful in every sense of the word (especially within). I saw her a few times back in the 90's on a few sets and have enjoyed watching her blossom over the years. From an eager young lady to the woman of refinement that she's become. Forget society's norm, she is my standard.

  • she is damn pretty ,

  • ROAN SWABY MULTIPLEXION ALL NATURAL ASK PERMISSION FROM THE PRICE BUYER BILL

  • Nia Long is one of the most beatiful black women. she is one of the influential women in the world....she says the smartest things to help out other people if u dont love nia long then u dont love people she is a true woman

  • says this: "I love me some Nia Long."

  • I've never really listened to a Nia Long interview but GOD SHE HAS SUCH A BRILLIANT MIND!

And I do appreciated her love for the community as well as creating new opportunities for women of color as performers to show all the positive, strong images. And she is right. Hollywood only sees certain women as stars, not all. Sadly Hollywood is still rigged by discriminative bigots, stereotyping the Black race in entertainment instead of showing the true beautiful variety we already have.

  • Thats easy for you to say Nia, you're already beautiful, so you don't got to do anything.

  • im so in love with nia real talk she sooooo fucking fine...on a side note who is that women on the right at :15 sec mark?... hot damn id dick her down

  • Ive been saying all long in the 90's women of color who are actresses just dissapeared they have have so much talent but all u see are white actors I miss them sisters and the same with the men all we hear is denzel is a sex simble get the hell out of hear im not gay ,but we have a whole lot of brother out there who isnt getting paid omar epps dont even gross a million either for his movies damn shame

  • Interesting...

  • I feel like certain people don't let her know how beautiful she is out of envy, maybe it's people in her own community,I know many times people hate.Women might hate on her because they can never be her,and men might hate as well because they will never be with her,I know that I will never be with her but that won't keep me from being a real man and telling it how it is,Nia Long is one of those women you can't resist, she's one of the most beautiful black women I have ever seen.

  • @TheProductofsociety TRUE,TRUE,TRUE MAN I LOVE HER

  • @TheProductofsociety I agree! especially black women hit on other black women sooo much!!! You should read the trash they post about her makeup or things like that!!! it is out of jealousy! Black women celebs get hit on soo much, and not from anyone but the black community! some women will die before they say a woman is good looking. Which is sad because theyre not secure in their own selves, they have to bring others down. Always see people in the best light, I agree with your comment 100%!

  • @TheProductofsociety She's one of the most beautiful women(Black or White)! But I feel what you saying!

  • @dastony1969 yeah i feel what your saying too.

  • @TheProductofsociety She's not just one of the most beautiful black women, she's one of the most beautiful women - period. She's flawless and ageless.

  • @TheProductofsociety Well said. Period.

  • @TheProductofsociety Absolutely, Cant agree more with this statement and she is a real black woman she isnt mixed. I believe that will make her even more of a jealousy target of other black women.

  • @debutante20 Someone once said "who really is 100% anything nowerdays anyway" that is so true i mean how do we know who out ancestors have slept with,we have no clue who they been with through out time, history.we could be so watered down and mixed and not even know it,it's true.we all are HUMAN,a black woman can give birth to a white mans child and that child will be perfectly fine, because we are all of the HUMAN race we just come in all different forms.like dogs and cats.

  • @TheProductofsociety oh I know nobody is 100% black or white everyone is a mut but my point is that, clearly to the eye she would not be considered bi racial, yellow or light skinned. She would be considered black in viewer's eyes meaning having two darker parents. lol.

  • @TheProductofsociety and to add, her hair in its natural state is not straight or curly like light skin or a mixed person's hair (and including her skin) so she would be considered to be a black woman and as you would know through out history black women werent considered to be beautiful and light skinned people were so when you have a beautiful black woman like her, (not saying black women are not beautiful becasue we are) people are going to be jealous.

  • @debutante20 sometimes people are secretly or envious/jealous of other people so even though there is nothing wrong with those they are jealous of,they make it seem like there is.like saying "haha! you have brown skin" or "haha! you have nappy hair" like there is nothing wrong with having brown skin or having nappy hair, but they like to make it seem like there is to bring you down because they have been brought down themselves.it's sad really.

  • @TheProductofsociety of course their ego wouldn't allow them to tell you that, they're too embarrassed of the truth when they shouldn't be.I also want to add that the statement you made about through out history black women weren't considered beautiful, that my dear is a lie.back in the day in slavery times some black/brown women were so beautiful they got out of being slaves, would marry white men,or some were always the concubine of the white slave owners.White masters would always rape them.

  • @TheProductofsociety

I agree with everything you said.

  • She makes some good points during this interview

  • I just love her she inspires me...

  • I love her; she's so inspirational!

  • I love her

  • Comment removed

  • I agree with both of you - I liked the interview! Very well presented and she's very interesting to listen to.

  • This is THE BEST interview I've ever seen an actress give. Nia had such insightful things to say. I've always respected her because she carries herself with such class and integrity. I got teary eyed when she talked about her son. I think she deserves much more success in her life. I so respect this woman!!!

  • Nia, seems like such a beautiful person inside and out and really down to earth. I pray for the best for her. Its seem like she doesn't get the notoriety she deserves.

  • @niquestarpg...:"notoriety" is the wrong word to use. You don't want her to be known for infamy. I think you mean she should be notice positively. More positive elevation.
