  • Mmmm

  • Man you are Lost in the world of BBQ!

  • They look decent but I have to agree with the dry-comment; those should not even need a knife if cooked right. I smoke and by the time I pull them out I can twist them with the tong and the meat falls out of the bones. Secondly; it seems like you put way too much coating on them..eat it for the flavor of the rib, not the flavor of the rubs and sauces.. (might be why you're...*clears throat*..chubby?)

  • @dgwsgedszg If the author of this video is accurate in saying that these ribs would do well in a Kansas City Barbecue Society competition, then these ribs are definitely not fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs. Fall-off-the-bone ribs have been broiled. In the professional BBQ circuit, that's considered a 'no-no' and you would come in last place.

  • dam bro easy on dat salt

  • Thanks

  • Sugar??? Yuckkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!

  • @OuKrokodil brown sugar is where its at. try it.

  • Ok, Im cooking out for Fathers Day. Ill give them a try, ill try to record it.

  • Thats a good method wrapping them up in the foil, but they look dry.

  • @sleepy1783 They were just right. Not dry and would be competitive in a KCBS competitive judging situation. Give it a try and tell me what you find.

  • The ribs looked great but seems like an all-day job to make. I don't bother removing the fell from baby backs because it tears up so much.

  • @AnotherAmateur Oh, you can bet your ass its an all day job! The best ribs you'll ever have, take all day. Slow and low, that is the tempo! This is kind of a quickie compared to the last ribs I made. 12 hours of indirect and direct heat. Braised in Steele Reserve. Braising liquid reduced to sauce, and slathered all over the ribs again and again. The braising basically makes stock from the bones, extracting their gelatin and a plethora of flavors from them. I really need to make a video...

  • @madtownmadman i just got a good cast iron offset smoker, and watched many videos and took the best parts of each and made mine, they were pretty awesome. took about 7 hours of smoke time, never saw direct heat.Add me and ill follow so when you do make a video i can try your way (yes i love grilling and will spend 12 hours doing it) so i can do it that way. Also since im new to smoking, if you can post a video for pork butt, and beef brisket, i would be greatfull.

  • some good looking ribs
