  • cannibal holocaust is the shiznit!

  • this kid went to Newton South High School...now i might have some horror stories from Newton North, and i may be pretty tweaked, but i'm not gonna be spatin off "Who Can Kill A Kid" in any of my top 5's. the only sane person i know left south like after her first year, and she is far from sane!!!

  • This douchebag is so proud of how original and alternative he is when he really isn't at all. Fuck him for real and fuck you.

  • 5 great films, seen them all... Not my 5 favourites though. :)

  • The 1st movie that I saw Eli in was "Inglorious Basterds". I don't know what it was about him in that role, but I thought he was absolutely HHHHHOT!!! Now, maybe there's another film that better features him-(hopefully all sweaty & shirtless!)-but yeah... this was my first mime seeing him, & I was very intrigued. I nned to see more of Eli... something provocative, preferrably.

  • Quentin's little butt buddy aka Eili

  • The ending of the last american virgin is depressing, you feel bad for the guy!

  • audition was beautifully shot but as a story it wasn't good and the gore was rather disgusting. cannibal holocaust is completely braindead. a truly stupid film. roth directs movies yet knows nothing about what makes a film good. it's no wonder he's yet to make a truly good film. hollywood is hiring people who don't know what a good film is to make films. that's why there's so much crap. sasha grey's choices were better.

  • @XXXAllTheThings I Respect your opinion, but cannibal holocaust may hav been sick, but its the most smartess film evermade with a budget of nothing, what u dont know is, its not how good the films are its the impact that it makes, including audition

  • I've seen Audition, Cannibal Holocaust, and Who Can Kill A Child?

they're very interesting films, especially Audition. Those asians make excellent movies!

  • oh snap, one good film and a bunch of exploitation shit :D that's more you could say for Eli Roth's own movies ....

  • Who can Kill a Child is fuckin amazing!

  • I wish he would grow his hair like he had it in inglorious bastards ^.^ so hot

  • Eli is so hot !!

  • I love Eli Roth !!

  • wow you can see how all these films influenced Hostel!

  • I want to marry him

  • pieces didn't get 0 it got 22%

  • i have pieces on dvd. Great slasher film

  • Cannibal Holocaust is widely acknowledged as the most twisted, disturbing, gruesome and violent film in history of cinema. Of course he said it.

  • the movie that made you want to make hostel? damn you, audition

  • Haha, I guess that's 1% for pieces now. But some great choice, pieces look like shit, cannibal holocaust I heard (kinda wanna see), who can kill a child I wanna see now.

  • @adrianlindsaylohan cannibal haulocaust is disturbing. just a warning

  • haha slasher movies (seriously though cannibal holocaust is fucking disturbing)

  • @BiggestATLAfan What? The only slasher movie on the list is Pieces.

  • @BiggestATLAfan Yeah, I didnt think I could lose my innocence while remaining a virgin

  • @BiggestATLAfan Cannibal Holocaust was fucking hilarious xD

  • haha i love all those movies, but sadly i only own Pieces.

  • I actually bought 'who can kill a child" because of Eli, I use to hate him because I though he was all talk, but then I actually saw his films, & I LOVE this guy, hes one of those few people in Hollywood that actually has a brain & knows what hes saying

  • I love audition its so messed up!

  • I just love how Pieces got 0% on Rotten Tomatoes...haha

  • @salmonmachine

I have the movie it's fucking awsome!!

  • pieces was stupid, bad acting, over the top gory and had way too much nudity. I FUCKING LOVED IT.

  • he gave me movie i should have seen before in my life...Thank you Eli thank you so much

  • Shoot I'll watch those any day with him hahahaha

  • where is Serbian Film?

  • Eli Roth is great! I understand where he's coming from. There is a wide world of Horror and Cult film out there and it's great coming up with your own personal five favorite films of all time. I would have to say one of my favorite Horror films is DEEP RED. Enough said.

  • my brother keeps trying to get me to watch cannibal holocaust >_< lol

  • ELI you're the best!!!

  • I like how, as he moved towards his favourite film of all time, the Rotten Tomatoes scores progressively got lower.

  • I just bought pieces and the mangler today

  • Just in case you ever thought there was more depth to Roth........he proves there isn't.

  • "my next favorite film is passion of the christ"....wouldnt be suprised if he watches it all the time for the torture scenes

  • I do not share Mr. Roth's cinematic tastes, nor do I wish to subscribe to his newsletter.

  • Pieces is really the most fun you can have watching a movie. He has brought it up in several interviews so i decided to buy it, I'm glad I did! I show it to all my friends and they think it's hilarious, there is even a special feature on the DVD that is just Eli Roth screening the movie and talking about how great it is lol

  • This guy is fucking awesome.

  • audition!!!!!!! yeyyy!!!!!!!

  • LOL at his #1 movie having a 0% favorable rating.

  • Wow - his number 1 movie (most peeps haven't seen) got 0%? Yeah maybe i'd trust a film maker who is good, but i'm not gonna trust Eli on that one.

  • This I had to see. :)

  • I have to say he knows his shit

  • @IncredibleT00L

exactly and audition is in it because of it´s torture scene. so imagine.

  • Eli's such a happy gore+porn lovin' Jew. He's adorable.

  • @oneshotofcoffee You really can't ask for more than that!

  • @oneshotofcoffee adorable for this disgusting shit? this guy is a twisted psycho.

  • it is official. eli roth is a stupid, ignorant retard.

  • @MaLoDe1975

Projection: The unconscious transfer of one's own desires or emotions to another person

  • eli roth is so sexii!

  • I remember renting Pieces back when it first came out on VHS. If Eli saw that one then he should recomend Sleep Away Camp. they both came out in 82, 83. I say see that one as well.

  • last american virgin was awesome

  • he has a nice tast of movies

  • Eli Roth's favorite movie has 0% on Rotten Tomatoes yet he says it's "the most fun you can have". Possibly the biggest compliment that movie ever got.

  • Eli Roth is the most garbage horror director of our time.

  • Surprised he didn't have Dead Alive/Braindead on here, he loves it.

  • how can a jew bear like eli roth put a crap gay movie like can holocost on his 5 favourites?? is he half german??

  • Audition is an incredible movie.

  • wheres his awesome new york jew accent?

  • What a blithering idiot. "I like this movie cos it's got gore in it. I like this movie cos it's got sex in it. I like this movie cos it's got gore and sex in it."

  • Well... Fuck. Tetsuo is not on his list, and it is pretty disgusting, funny and unique.

From that list I only saw "Audition". This movie is great, proves Takashi Miike can do shit right if your give needed amount of time. It really stands out from everything other he had done.

  • Eli Roth needs to stop making movies and instead host a show where he just talks about movies like these

  • Jason and the Argonauts is my favorite film.

  • Eli Roth is the best Horror director of our generation!

  • South park made a reference to that film , I have to see it now. Eli Roth is Awesome.

  • picking cannibal holocaust as one of his favorite movies shows just what a demented fuck this guy is. the only movie i agree with him on is takashi miike's audition, which is really an awesome movie.

  • @93johnk ". . . that mainstream audiences haven't seen." Those aren't his actual five favorite movies.

  • If you wanna see a movie that is hard to watch, then watch "Visitor Q".

  • @ZincInfinity yeah, no shit, you cant resist falling asleep midway through the 1st reel.

  • @superbadlucre Holy shit! you are the only one who got my joke:)

    It was fucking boring.

  • @ZincInfinity ha ha thats a good one all i have to say wihtout spoling it is NECROPHILIA

  • Saw Cannibal Holocaust, was actually kinda boring. It was basically overly gored and just kinda lame. However, there was a lot of gruesome REAL animal cruelty shots. Pretty brutal.

  • Eli Roth is very untalented

  • I've seen all but "Who Can Kill a Child," which looks freaking awesome!

God, "Audition" was horrid. I will say that in a genre filled with disturbed-looking, big, burly men with hatchets/chainsaws/butcher knives, it was refreshing to see a beautiful, tiny, innocent-looking woman as the killer, and it not be supernatural. Still, the movie is pretty messed up.

I have to say though, Salo is 100x more disturbed than anything on this list.

I liked Eli Roth before, but I think I now LOVE Eli Roth.

  • he's a good looking guy tbh...and im a guy

  • After watching this video I can understand why he was in Pirahna 3D. But for like two seconds though :D

  • Cannibal Holocaust left me pondering one very important question for days, WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

  • Antonio Margerihti!!!!!

  • @MrMichaelBlackson MARGERIHTI!!!

  • i <3 his movie!

  • Audition is VERY fucked up/good.

  • so, whats this guy really about? kabbalist? yahweh, is watching eli.(and all of us..........remember?) so what are you REALLY all about?

  • CH is fucked up

  • I loved the whole sneaking into a elevator with a chainsaw xD She didn't even notice it! xD

  • HOT!

  • He's hot.^^

  • DUDE YOURE AWESOME!!!!

  • I warn you before you watch Cannibal Holocaust. Listen to IMDB when it says that it is the most graphic, disturbing movie ever. The Americans go gang rape happy.

  • @ArchiPepper I think Salo is more graphic. You should also look up the movie 'Aftermath', somehow it is on youtube when it REALLY doesn't belong on here.

  • @ArchiPepper I AGREE. DO NOT WATCH THAT MOVIE. CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST

  • @cheezkid cannibal holocaust is awesome

  • @Bartreligion no way that movie is fuckin disturbing, very hard to watch.

  • VERY HOT !! UH!

  • Eli Roth should be tortured for making Hostel.

  • @LightStijn

Are you high? Hostel is brilliant.

  • love audition :)

  • Great list. The only one I haven't seen is "Who Can Kill A Child?". Will definitely have to hunt it down.

  • I wish you can find these films but you can't. and forget about going to hollwood video or blockbuster, half of those stores are out of business.

  • I watched who can kill a child and the ending was great.. very pleased NEXT UP Cannibal Holocaust :)

  • I like him as an actor rather than a filmmaker

  • esse cara é perturbado!!!!

  • great when your drunk.. what a piece of shit...

  • damn, i saw a bit of that Cannibal Holocaust and man was it unbearable to watch. I couldn't watch it all. Disturbing, very disturbing.

  • Who Can Kill A Child? looks like Children of the Corn. No?

  • @igotaquestionmark Predates Children Of The Corn by 7 or 8 years!

  • doesn't he look like carson daly?

  • i'm so going to watch all these movies.

  • Great list, Eli. I love "Pieces." It's a classic.

I gotta see "Who Can Kill A Child?" Looks awesome.

  • I think Eli Roth and Brad Pitt don't need top billing on Inglourious Basterds. Really the guy who played Hans Landa and the woman who played Shoshana deserve that. Then again, Bad Pitt got them more views (and his mustache was awesome) and Eli Roth was good in the short amount of time he was given.

  • Is it me or did Eli "Borrowed" each of those elements from his favorite movies to Hostel, like you got the bubblegum gang related to "Who can kill a kid". You got the last american virgins to the 3 main characters,Oollie,Jay & that one guy. You got the chainsaw guy cutting Jay's fingers, & so on...

  • I just overall don't like eli roth

  • I just realised that Pieces is the movie that people keepy buying in Video Violence

  • dude cannibal holocaust is funny. That dudes dick is so fake haha

  • Eli is such a tool!

  • Sweet I own pieces!!!

  • I never got why some people don't like Roth. I'm a huge fan of old school horror (not this new age Micheal Bay crap), and I actually really enjoy his films, ESPECIALLY Cabin Fever.

My favourite movie he mentioned has to be Pieces. I fucking love that movie.

  • this guy seems like your run of the mill idiot

  • Audition is a masterpiece. But the rest...

Last American Virgin was dumb, Cannibal Holacaust was disgusting, Who Can Kill a Child was dull, and the 0% Tomatometer rating for Pieces sums it up.

  • that explains the bubble gum gang. i hate them though

  • audition is okay i guess but its kinda like it doesnt even make sense

  • Audition is really good, but the others...

  • cannibal holocaust is a fucking brillian film.

  • @jonsamuthafucka Made it harder to watch when I read that all the animal deaths in the movie were actually real. This was before there were any animal protection agencies for film. Like that tortoise killing scene? all real, so gross.

  • @REZBLUE22 thats what makes it so awesome! im not into animal cruelty i would never hurt one just to do it. (of course ive shot a deer though but they are fuckin delicious.) but the fact that they captured all this horrific images on film just amazes me. im a film fan not one of animal cruelty.

  • Lol, "Pieces" has 0 percent on the Tomato meter.

  • by now , it has acctually achieved 14 % !

i dont know how, but it did.

  • this guy is a horror geak.

  • uh strange list ;)

  • the scene in Cannibal Holocaust when they find the woman impaled on the stick, going straight through her out her mouth is some sick shit. The Audition torture scene is fucking hardcore, I can barely watch it, and I have a pretty high tolerance for that shit in horror films

  • He's no doubt a talented director and actor.

  • damn i remember back a few months ago before inglorious basterds everyone but me seemed to hate him now everyone seems to love him lol

  • HA i noticed that too

  • in cannibal holocaust what disturbed me the most was when they took that rodent and shoved a stick up its ass untill it pushed up its skull. still wouldnt die it just screamed as if it was saying "stop stop" lol thanks to that one particular fucking scene im scarred for life

  • Kind of a stupid list of favorite films ever.

  • i know where he got the kid idea from hostel now lmao

  • 4real! the bubblegum kids..lol who didnt want to kill them!

  • hey i hated them in the first one but kinda liked em in the second

  • Sgt Donny Donnovitz i love this character haha

  • All the movies he mentioned are great especially Audition which is a masterpiece.

  • BJ:Did you get that killing for Jews? German sgt :Bravery .Pan pan(beating with club) .... Teddy Fucking Williams knock it out The Park!

Fenway park is on its Feet for Teddy fucking ball game He went yard on that one, on to Fucking lansdowne Street! You...

  • i love Cannibal Holocaust. its one of my favorite movies.

  • I actually just watched Cannibal Holocaust a few mins ago and thought it was okay. I agree that the animal killings were disturbing since it was all real but other than that, it wasn't as gruesome as it was hyped up to be. But it was still pretty good. I need to check out these other movies. I fcking love Eli Roth!

  • @FightingForSanity Yeah I watched the movie since he keeps recommending it, and had the same thing by finding the animal scenes more disturbing because they were real but when I recommended it to my sister, she thought the whole thing was real and she came out of the movie just shattered. So really the hype comes from really believing the movie is real, but I agree with you - it's awesome all the same :)

    Oh and Pieces FTW!!!

  • cannibal holocaust is awful!! I didn`t think it was real, im thinking about the scene where they slaughter the turtle. When my boyfriend had to throw up and told me that it was real i felt so bad. Not much scares me but this movie really made me sick!! Amazing though...

  • I watched Cannibal Holocaust yesterday. It's the only film that ever made me throw up... and usually I'm quite good with that. They literally murder animals onscreen. I can watch a fake body get mutilated all day, but when I see a real animal brutally murdered, I question the artist. However, I understand the message of the film, which is verbalized at the end if you don't get it while watching it. I don't recommend the film if you have a weak stomach. I will check out his other picks, though.

  • Who can kill a child??? or...Children of the Corn????

  • I made the same reference

  • Lol cannibal holocaust!

  • I almost forgot that i've seen this movie a few years ago. I realized everything he says about it is totally true... I promised myself not to watch it again as I found it really, but I mean REALLY sick, but now I want to watch it again as he talks about it so enthusiasticaly XD Basterd! XD

  • I wonder if he likes Battle Royal.

  • I saw Audition it's what got me into Asia horror, that movie was nuts and really trippy. Cannibal Holocaust, I'll never watch again. It was really disturbing and I've been watching horror movies since I was a young child. He has good taste in films though.

  • i always say hostel is the only horror movie ive ever enjoyed. I dont know why i guess its because of the psychological element regarding the parallel of buying a woman for sex and buying a victim to kill. HOSTEL makes my top 5 definitely. And now that i know it was written and directed by "THE BEAR JEW" i love it even more!

  • AAAH!!! I have seen all of these movies!! I feel like I've accomplished something, just fro having seen what Eli has seen... although I must say, I can't say that i would group any of them in my favorites. Especially not Cannibal Holocaust. man, that movie made me want to vomit. Those dudes were terrible to those people.

I have Pieces. It was in this Fright Night 10 movie collection pack that I bought years ago from Best Buy, or somewhere.

  • I agree Cannibal Holocaust made me quite sick...

But Ôdishon is just geniously creepy and it's just such a great "parody" on the usual japanese dramas :)

  • im inlove of you eli

  • Cannibal Holocaust was freakin' gross..But it's great.. I love Hostel,, One of the best..

  • I have seen all those movies but "Pieces" and I cannot find it anywhere!!! Audition though is fucking awesome...seriously disturbing...but awesome none the less.

  • Cannibal Holocaust is one of my all time favorite, not only horror movies, but movies in general. It is the movie that started to me to where I now am today, and it did that with its fucking awesome realism, the gore, the fact that it looked real, and the music...OH GOD! The music is amazing in that film! I miss took it as a possible real film the first time I saw it and I loved it ever since for it! Audition also kicks ass, and Pieces with its 0% still is a must see for cheeze fans, love it!

  • Audition is an awesome movie.cannibal holocaust was to brutal for me though.i had to fast forward through the rape scenes.

  • watch audition, kitty kitty kitty kitty

  • lol... he's so adorable w/ his sound effects "oh hello sir, it's you... VRROOOOOOMMM"

  • im having a sleepover so ill try to rent them :)

  • Lol I love these movies too. Cannibal Holocaust is off the top great horror, Audition is so freakin' gross in a good way, etc. I gotta go re-watch each one of those.

  • I never heard of these movies, are any of them good, and if so which are the best?

  • Audition is fantastic, but if you don't like subtitles, it's not a good idea to try to watch it.

Cannibal Holocaust is personally my favorite move, but if it gives you any insight into the awesomeness of it, the director had his film license revoked for making it. He had to bring in the cast and parade them around in front of an Italian court to prove they were alive.

  • MAN, PIECES its one of the worst movies I ever seen.

  • Who Can Kill a Child is actually one of the best horror films I've seen.
