  • That reminds me a little of Copper and Chief in the Fox and the Hound, except Chief doesnt do anything like that to Copper.

  • Puppy: Got it. You're the man.

  • i feel sorry for the little beagle :(

  • So if some little kid came up and bit your hand you would calmly tell them to leave you alone and walk away? I'd bark at the little kid too - thats what the big dog did. No harm no foul.

  • Well I'd give that reaction to a toddler that pulled on my tail - If I had one. If it was aggression, she would have attacked the pup. Her barking is her way of shouting.

  • Just setting the boundaries.

  • outta the way big boobs no out of the damn way ok u forced me to roar!!! -reality-squeak squeak a a squeak.Max thinks oh crap.

  • Just a warning bark/show of teeth. Older dogs won't hurt young dogs, they always remind them when needed what's right and wrong. And that's what we're seeing here. Older dog might not want to be around pup, but he/she knows what's needed to say "right - enough". And that's just dogs!

    Very normal behaviour.

  • awwwwww poor little beagle.

  • Lol!

  • that old dog is a piece of shit.

  • I hope you didn't let the puppy get as fat as the other dog.

  • @PojkenMedTejpen lol dont get as fat as the other dog tht made me crack

  • I love how the little one just walks away like he is saying "well I am not going to play with you then grumpy-pants"

  • The big older one is just teaching the little one to behave, Cant go around barking and biting tails! lol. Looked fine to me, people needa read up this shudnt have so many dislikes

  • lol

  • Bigger dog shouldn't be the Alpha, the owner should...

  • whats your problem dog abuser

  • @ralphmbrooks Who's the dog abuser? :O

  • @ralphmbrooks I'm not involved with this interaction whatsoever. So why would I be a dog abuser? You're a troll.

  • Aww, trolls are so cute. Please tell us all how the owner had anything to do with this? All puppies learn not to bother big dogs in this exact manner and the big dog never even touches him, just makes him back off. Troll face.

  • And in the end he walks off "haters gonna hate" style.

  • OMG I ROFLED IN RL!!! XDXD SO ADORABLE!!! :):)

  • poor poor puppy <3

  • Okay.jpg

  • Puppy: I've found somthing!!

Aplha: *ow* GET OFF MY TAIL!

    Puppy: O.O I-I'll j-justg-go now *Walks Away*

  • I hate to be one of those people, however that large dog clearly has a gun. How irresponsible are you? Do you know how many beagles get shot by dogs with firearms a year? None, that's right, none. It just doesn't happen. But it will unless you disarm your dogs. Think smart. Stop being a decent enough stack of celery.

  • puppy: Whoa... not gonna do that again -shakes head, wags tail- I'll play somewhere else now!

Calm down people lol, obviously the puppy was fine and the big dog had no intention of hurting the it. You don't call it aggressive if a human parent yells at their kid. Same applies here.

  • @Dollreviewz155 I agree with you! And to be honest, nowadays they even call yelling at your children being aggressive towards them. Unfortunately we live in a world where manners and respect mean nothing.

  • Dog parenting in action, pretty normal. People need to stop freaking out just because a dog makes a loud noise at another dog.

  • Exactly the same way I feel about children.

  • Come on bitch

    Fuck off!

  • Jeez you guys this is normal stuff! I have a dog myself I know how dogs can react, but the little one ,Max, was kind of chewing on the oldest dog's paw, it's normal he reacted like that, and he's okay! So I really don't get the big deal, that isn't an aggressive dog, not at all.

  • its all part of the chain of command, we humans do it too, so its hyprocritical for any of us to say otherwise

  • MAX IS FINE! 152 dislikes? wow... 152 knows dog language. Peace XP

  • I don't like Squishy :L

  • @NotSenile95 This dog isn't Squishy, she is the one in the barking video. This dog is Zoe.

  • @Sabricent sowwy :(

  • :(

  • :(

  • the alpha is so mean to Max

  • Lol he's just like "Gee, Okay man, I got it!"

  • The big dog didn't snap, just barked to let the little guy knows whose boss. We've had a few dogs and whenever we get a new puppy this always happens. The big guy is teaching the puppy that this is his personal space and that he can't be doing that so he won't do it again. If someone came over and started biting on your foot, you'd yell too right?

  • Max:You wanna piece of me?! *bites big dogs tai

    Alpha:Your pushin it kid... WOOF!

    Max:I'm just gonna go now...

  • Comment removed

  • that big dog is a dick.

  • awwwwwwww loud noise for the puppy :S

  • what kind of dog is the "Alpha Dog"?

  • @FatTurtleGaming She is a German Sheppard/Sharpei mix. About 8 years old in the video.

  • I hope max grows strong so when that dog is old and weak he can kick the S*** out of him

  • @HaloCOD816 Actually the puppy (was not my dog) stayed with us for a couple months and the big dog ended up blowing out one of her knees from all the activity. She's okay now.

  • Snoopy hatin' life!

  • Max gets told! ....and to those who think the big dog was aggressive- go learn about how dogs speak to each other, the adult dog was just setting the boundary, giving the pup clear instructions, albeit not as patient as some other dog may be, but there was no aggression, he just 'said' STOP in dog language and the pup understood instantly.

  • Aggression. Thats not good. You need to correct him.

  • @DogExpert1 You're no dog expert, sorry.

  • @DogExpert1 He isn't aggresive, he corrects him on his behavior.

  • @Sabricent thing is, that i am a dog expert. i've been working with my dad who is a vet for the past 30 years and that is a sign of aggression. that dog MIGHT be dangerous towards people. i'm not saying it is, but if it shows such aggression towards a 10 week old puppy (i can't put my money on how old it is exactly), then it's probably aggressive in other situations too

  • @geover330 That wasn't aggression it was a lesson. If the bigger dog really was aggressive he would have bit the pup. He didn't. He actually pushed the pup away with his snout! Oh, maybe the big dog is a female cuz that's the sort of thing a mother would do. Anyway, the older dog probably witnessed the pup's display with the other dog and thought - No way! I'm gonna stop that runt before he gets strarted. I'm not in the mood to listen to some hyper pup.

  • @geover330 Then you need to go back to school, that dog is showing normal behavior when an adult dog must correct a pup. He neither growled nor attempted to bite the pup nor did he continue when the pup backed off.

  • @geover330 Lol you aren't a dog expert either, I am going to put this in simple terms.

The dog was not being aggressive. Dogs very rarely act aggressive towards puppies and that was very clearly a sort of 'Bugger off' than 'I am going to eat you for dinner'

  • @Sabricent neither are you, clearly

  • @Sabricent Very well said. That is how pups are, and ALL pack animals have a pecking order. The lil shit learned quick from it.

  • @Sabricent Ehh, doesn't take a dog expert to know that rivalry isn't good. They should learn to get along.

    Just sayin'.

  • @DogExpert1 Good to know watching youtube videos of dogs qualifies you as an expert you dumb bitch

  • @DogExpert1 little dog bites big dog which is clearly calms tail and big dog gives a quick assertive bark. thats good. you need to get fucked

  • @DogExpert1

All the big dog did was re-assert his dominance. Plus the little beagle did bite his tail which probably hurt like a bitch.

So much for being an expert.

  • @DogExpert1 You obviously know nothing of the sort.

  • @DogExpert1 You obviously don't own a dog, do you, you little 12 year old youtuber? :3

  • @DogExpert1 That is not dog aggression. So sad that people who obviously don't know what they're talking about think they know it all.

  • @DogExpert1 the reason so many people have "problem dogs" is because they dont get to grow up around adult alpha dogs who teach them respect and manners. that was simply putting him in his place for biting/yanking his tail. if he were aggressive, that puppy would have been dead. he didnt try to bite him, he simply got in his face and told him off. not dangerous. trust me i know dogs.. no worries. ;)

  • @DogExpert1 Most Dog experts actually suggest bringing puppies around older dogs....because they teach the puppy manners and who they are as far as the pack goes..some 'dog expert' you are

  • @DogExpert1 UHHH, the dog was establishing the pecking order. A loud bark is considered fairly polite in the dog world.

  • @DogExpert1 if you were a real dog expert you would know that the interaction there was a simple display from the alpha dog telling the pup that he needs to mind his manners. It is almost exactly like what would happen in a wolf pack. The alpha will let anyone know who is boss when they step out of line. They do this for pups too but in a much less aggressive way, like the one in this video.

  • @DogExpert1 its a more dominant dog saying "look im da boss up in this bitch"

  • @DogExpert1 that what you saw there was not agression

  • @DogExpert1 All the dog was saying was that it didn't want to play. If it was truely being aggressive the puppy would have been dead. BUT LOOK! its not.

  • i could only pay attention to the tv in the background lol taco bell mothership XO

  • This is very normal, and you did good to stay out of it. If you had interfered next time, Alpha dog would kill him.

  • well then, that was a very nice "fuck off." XD

  • Aww Max is soo smale :3 Want one!

  • slap the big bitch

  • Poor lil' fella.

  • I assume all the dislikes are from people who don't like seeing dogs act naturally ha.

  • Puppy, note to self don't fuck with the big dog.

  • 0:01 oh boy I found something

  • the strange thing is I want a beagle and i was gonna name him max aswell,Hope mine is as cute as that little trooper! GO ON MAX! Get him again! He'll soon realise you're the MAN!

  • LOL, that's awesome. Guess Max learned the chain of command fairly quickly. Went through the same thing with our three Beagles.

  • poor max i hope he didnt get hurt!!!! :(

  • you can tell it wasn't serous, the pup walked away wagging its tail like crazy.

  • the beagle was bitting the bigger dog foot so it acted that way

  • ...lygoiwyfi dissappear to Mexico, looking for the Taco bell Mothership or something....

  • Aperently half the ppl commenting have never had dogs

  • @spazzanator16 - Great observation. I used to nip my puppy when he tried to bite me. He quickly learned not to use his teeth on me. Yes. Most people making negative comments on the large dog, have never had dogs and know nothing about dog behavior. These are the people who think it's cute when their dogs do things that the rest of us recognize as dominance behavior.

  • @kaligirl1980 very true some ppl just shouldn't own dogs. the big dogs behavior is like if a dog dug a hole in the yard you fill it up with water and but his muzzle in it. couple times of doing that they don't do it anymore. just like that dog learned. he probably never did that again after that.

  • PI33 OFFFF STUPID PUP!

  • *People complaining a uploader*

What's wrong with you people? What do you think dogs do without humans? Kill their pack all day long?

  • looks like mike vick got a youtube account

  • Yes, this is absolutely normal behavior, older one showing the younger one whats going on.

  • The bigger dog havent do anything to him -.-

you said "No i wouldnt it"

if you have a cheeky puppy, you must correct and teach him :D

  • This is animal cruelty. Would someone please call animal control on these people

  • @Gilch30

Why is it animal cruelty? ôo

  • @SingleLady1462 Ummm... Because the small dog is being hurt by the larger dog and the owners are doing nothing about it.

  • @Gilch30 no the beagle was fine, he was even wagging his tail at the end.

  • @Gilch30 first time watching dogs, i see

  • @Gilch30 He didnt get hurt... i have 2 dogs too, if you didnt want play, what would the dog do?

"Hey you, i dont want play.. please go away."

I didnt think that he said it. :) If he hurt, he scream, and you hear and saw it.

  • Geez, alright! (puppy runs away).

  • Such a mean alfalfa dog.....

  • @winrx Yeah, i hate "alfalfa" dogs.

  • @Skinnyfishpants that's like a chia pet right?

  • It is called teaching manners. And this older dog is doing it perfectly.

  • bark bark!

    nom*

    AH THAT FUCKING HURT

  • It probably seems worse to us because dogs use their mouths and growls to get over what we would just use words for. The wee doggie is learning valuable lessons from what seems a pretty chilled older dog. It's like your Mum giving you a 'look' when you step out of line as a kid.

  • this is nature, the grown up dog is telling the little pup to settle the fuck down, its just like us really

  • I agree with that actually, this "is" normal dog behaviour. My dogs do it all the time but they never get hurt. And ov course their going to have the old fight but that doesn't matter !!

  • poor max!!! you should let him more space make sure not hurt or whatever

  • This was hard to watch but people are right. This is just the dog doing what it would do in the wild. The big dog was teaching the pup but in abit of a nasty way. The pup looked scared to death.

  • f u dog!!

  • poor baby :(

  • I don't have a problem with this video at all, the puppy DOES need to know its place in it's pack, it would become a annoying brat to the other dog/s otherwise.

The other dog backed off as soon as it had made its point and the lesson i'm sure was learned.

The mother dog acts just the same with her pups

  • did max get hurt? cuz the alfa dog growled

  • @MyElaineg Nope, you can see him shaking it off at the end.

  • @Sabricent Does NO ONE see the little dog biting the big dogs tail?

Does NO ONE here understand what it looks like when a dog is hurt?

The big dog was just telling the little guy that its not okay to bite tails.

Stop overreacting.. The little dog is fine. -.-

  • @MyElaineg The puppy bit the other dogs tail. All the dog was doing was telling the pup off for doing that, not being agressive.

  • @MyElaineg No you shit. Dogs are smart.

  • @TheFunnysamnoob333 He did not get hurt.

  • @TheFunnysamnoob333 Not smart enough to avoid being turned into food.

  • it mite be normal but you as a owner have a responsibility not to let it happen.

  • @NikkieleeTorres I'm an animal lover and have a zero tolerance to animal cruelty, but you have to remember dogs have evolved from wolves. They are not humans - they don't speak English. The best way for a dog to learn anything is by getting 'nipped' or dominated by another dog (in the pack). I can guarantee the puppy will never do that again and if it has it will learn very quickly. Whereas simply pulling the puppy away says nothing to it - it still wants to bite the tail as if it's a toy.

  • poor beagle!!!!!!!!!!!

    :(

  • Max is all, 'Well...that is definitely not food. Eh, shake it off.'

  • "Okay, god, you're the boss! Don't need to YELL about it... humph!"

  • everyone who has said that the onwer is cruel is retarded the puppy walks away with his tale wagging

  • The alpha dog needed to show max who is the boss !

  • Good beagle, just walk it off son!

  • . . . Every Dog forms a hierarchy's because they are very much like their cousins the Wolf. The older dog is simply just teaching the young pup to respect him/her. Therefore, correcting its behavior.

Of course some dogs can be more friendly but there are also some dogs would rather have show the other dog who's boss and who isn't.

A owner needs to show their dogs that they are above them by correcting behavior. Otherwise, they wont learn.

  • I agree with everyone who says this is normal dog behavior but take my dog for example every time I walk by my neighbors house whose dog I love very much as well as my own but my dog is small and his dog is big and my friends dog always gets ferocious because he isn't very good with other dogs so thus creating problems for me cuz my dog starts to throw a fit cuz he is scared cuz in the past that dog has nicked him. my friends dog was in the humane society and plus my friend rough howses with him

  • Although I feel sorry for Max, the other dog is a nice dog, you can tell... It corrected Max's behaviour, but it barked and then left him alone once Max realised he was in the wrong, which is what a good dog does. Yes not all dogs would bark, but obviously this dog sees Max as either his puppy or his little brother :)

  • Poor puppy. Haha he just wonders in n is like, 'hey, I'm gonna naw on ur tail' *num num* then the dog snaps at him, and the puppy looks like he's like 'well damn... maybe not' XD

  • i feel so bad that little dog is so CUTE and the big dogs cute but hes a mean dog.I LOVE DOGS

  • Have you guys even seen how dogs play? Dogs play rough, they jump all over each other, bite each other and everything. And in this video, you CLEARLY see that Max wasn't injured. He didn't cry and he's not bleeding..so calm down. The bigger dog is like a mother, she's teaching him how to act. If a dog is jumping all over you, you tell him to get off..that's basically what she's doing.

Anywho, this video was super cute. Max is adorable :)

  • The big dog in this scenario is behaving perfectly normally and didn't hurt the puppy at all. That move was dogspeak for "hey! stop annoying me, brat!" and it's something all puppies learn from their mom/other dogs at some point. No reason for a human to reprimand big dog at all, she handled it well!

  • That poor puppy!

  • i wonder if that big dog's name is "Speedo"........

  • damn thats a fat dog

  • aww pore dog :(

  • if this puppy started gnawing on your foot you would correct the behavior by reprimanding the puppy which is what this dog is doing, at most the dog nipped the puppy which is what they do in the wild to correct behavior.

if anything it is the puppy who should be corrected not the dog but what do most people do? "aww he is playing!" even though your dog is being bothered and if your dog takes matters into his own hands you reprimand the dog? how is that right?

  • @rebecca201021 I'm only confused because I can't tell if you're saying I should have reprimanded one of them. The big dog is very experienced around all sorts of other dogs and I wasn't the least bit worried about her teaching Max not to bother her. The puppy was only 8 weeks old and it was his first day away from his litter, didn't think he really needed any training.

  • @Sabricent

no, nothing against you, i'm just saying to the people who think you should have reprimanded your alpha dog that it doesn't make sense to me to punish a dog for pretty much telling the puppy he didn't like it but we would do the same thing just in our own way. only reason to intervene would be if there was an actual attack.

  • @Sabricent I think you were absolutely right to stay out of it. Little one is being taught by the older dog. Very normal stuff.

  • @rebecca201021 Spot on. Many people who have dogs don't understand the pack mentality. You do though. To have a dog in your home you, and all the other humans in your home, need to be pack leaders. The dog should always be the follower. That way, it will not bark or bite you or your family, your friends etc. And it will be able to relax and enjoy it's life with you because it doesn't have to think about being a leader.

  • Yeah its just scary to hear that sound. But if your older dog really wanted to maim/kill the puppy, it (don't know gender/doesn't matter gender) would have been able to kill it and the puppy be dead for a few seconds before you got there to help. Basically, the older dog just scared the crap out of the little puppy. I am sure the puppy will keep it's distance from the older dog for awhile.

  • RUWOW BARK BARK ahhhhhhh

  • Meh ... Max is just playing ... The alpha didnt do anything to him regardless :D

  • lil dog walked it off, like a boss

  • Stfu you fkn idiots l2 dog behavior

  • poor max! :(

  • People who're telling the uploader that he's "cruel and disgraceful" really need to chill the fuck out and grow a brain. This is completely normal dog behavior. Really.

  • @GhostlingRise Totally agreed!

  • As cute as that was,I still dont like the fact that you let the "alpha dog" almost injure Max.I hope you taught BOTH of them a lesson.

  • @allyoman No, didn't do anything. This is perfectly normal dog behavior.

  • @allyoman What lesson does Max need to learn from this, weirdo?

  • @Cobe1976 Next time, max not might make it out of a little srcap like that that without injuries moron.

  • Ah got to love the pecking order stuff when you bring a new pup home. Our boxer was the same way at first, took her a week to let my beagle come near her and what not. It's a part of life lol.

  • that is horrible this isent fair i should think u would of smacked the alpha dog that was just discraseful the alpha dog could have hurt the poor pup u should be ashamed

  • @TheCutecheryl1 You don't know anything about dog behavior. What they're doing is perfectly normal and it would be more harmful for a human to intervene.

  • @TheCutecheryl1 First, Grammar. Second, you've OBVIOUSLY never had a dog.

  • @Danewolfair mm let me see i actully have 3 dogs one called roxy one called salton and one called daisy so exuse me im11 so if u mind leave me alone
