Cool fish! When I was in Batak lake, Bulgaria a man catch really big fish. I don't know the weight, but it was a monster. I have never been on Montana!

Little tip i used when i went to spain carp fishing, if you can only take 20kg on the plane, put your lead weights in your coat pocket then carry onto the plane..

I was thinking of that mate................. but then i thought of the metal detector and explaining why i had 5kg of lead in my pockets to people who dont speak English :)

in hot weather like that you should b regular wartering the fish all the time wet every thing that the varp is going to b going in befor it actully goes into it !!

I realized that afterwards with the mat.......... but as you say, sometimes you dont think, especially "Is the mat to hot"?? The mat never gets hot in Sweden. ;)

commons are my favorite carp looked stunning

one thing i will say I'm not moaning though you could of wet the mat first and sling in those hot conditions and kept the carp cool. i must admit though when you catch a big carp like that your goes to pieces doesn't it of if you have Had's a lot of beers hey Chris lolololol
