B irds are cool, they can disarm mobs. I use a Gorilla soloing Inst. The Aggro on a Gorilla is crazy with the thunderstomp. I love soloing.

It's a Vulture - I got it from Desolace back in the (I think) 30+ range...

You can also get them in Deadwind pass at higher level.

Seriously, people. I couldn't give two-shits what spec people prefer - This movie is about fun, not questioning what spec to go for. I honestly hate BM and will never spec it nor Survival.

MM is my chosen spec. This movie is just about plain fun and things to do when absolutely bored off your face. It was done in mediocre gear back when I came back after 2 years of playing a rogue, trying to re-live hunter again. If I went back again, I'd destroy the place no problem, not that it matters.

It's nothign differ in this video, it mearly says the bm can solo instances like before and still can. I love that part about hunters though we are a great solo class it gets boring being alone level when you first start the game guildless.

right now i'm a level 64 mage, although i can't wait until level 70, i do wish I had picked a class that could solo more stuff.

Certain classes fair better at solo'ing certain things.

Hunters excel at most purely due to their pet, hence Warlocks can pull similar feats also (more to do with infinite mana / draining, however)

Rogues & druids, are another example, seeing as they can venture into a lot of akward places simply with stealth (Auchenai chest stealth runs, for example).

I tanked SL on my Priest in a 3-man group (Another priest, and a shaman). You can do a lot of things - Just a matter of trying them out ^^

My pet is fine - As MM there is very little emphasis on the pet, thus it doesn't matter what it is, as much as it would if you were BM for example.

I like birds due to the option of sprinting (Dash) them away from danger if nessecary as well as their screech debuff to opponents melee damage.

They're nice at holding aggro, too.

Also, I don't care much for perfection, hence the movie was made in the first place. I'm just a regular fun loving hunter who tried their first HFR solo for kicks.

No, not all pets do the same damage... go look @ petopia. Ravagers and cats are the highest damagers out there.

Well I didn't mind that it despawned, it's not like I need anything from there, and money wasn't the idea behind the run - Did it purely for fun and learning.

Did manage to get the Blade of Misfortune out of a chest in there, however, which was nice for my warrior ^^

Thank you peeps - Also, don't forget, it was a first try out of sheer boredom - I didn't even have my proper gear to begin with, mix of PvP gear with PvP and didn't take it seriously enough to want to record a 'perfect' run.

i did this as a MM hunter all trash and bosses. The last guy is the easiest. I owned his bum in less than 2 mins. And btw i str8 kill that first boss way faster than u. I dont run off and bandaid my pet. I dont even bandaid myself. i str8 up own him without moving

All trash, all bosses aye - As MM, which isn't friendly for solo'ing as the pet is relatively weak and my mana pool suffers heavy, even if the Damage // burst is superior.

It was a first try so decided to record it - Been successful with it since :)

Aye, BM or even Surv is far more a favourable spec for solo'ing. MM is nice for sick damage but in extended fights, the mana pool will wither away in no time, and naturally the pet isn't as tough as it could be.

Still, it worked out well enough and with practice it'd go a lot better - Still, quite happy with this first attempt.
