When I was in Italy, I ran into this couple twice, in two different cities, on two consecutive days! The second day they were playing in the middle of a tunnel in Firenze - the acoustics were just incredible. I bought their album the second time I found them, since I was obviously meant to have it. It is still one of my favorite classical albums of all time. So much heart in it.
I came across Maryna and Gennadiy when my wife and I were out in Florence in the fall of 2006. The music came out of the air and I just had to find where it was coming from. We stayed for nearly an hour and returned the next evening. I still listen to the CD's I bought to this day and they really were the heart of the passion we felt in Florence.
One of my greatest regrets from my trip to Florence in September 2006 was that I didn't not grab one of their CD's... I think that listening to them play whilst staring out at the view of Florence spread out before me really made that trip so memorable.
I saw them some years ago in Florence and was fascinated by them and their music. Their music fitted exactly with the fascinating buildings of Florence. I mostly liked their "Czarda" which they played in an outstanding way.

this is gennidiy musiyenko and maryna vikhor. the spelling may be wrong on the names(hard drive crashed) but i used to see them every night in florence spring 2006 while studying there, they are the best!
