  • Awesome video^^

  • @1:04 scary bug on the wall :(

  • o _O Uhm...

  • whos the one whos hatin on da dolls?

  • Haha, i know what you mean by "Creepy Doll owners." Me and my dolls are trying to stay away from them.

  • hi there catherine i love ure webcomic!!!!^^ and also u and allison have the cutest dolls!!!!!!^^

  • yaay

lol I find it amusing that people think that just because they know someone or seen someone doing weird stuff to dolls and etc. belive that everyone is the same xD

UUh yaay Im getting my first bjd in a month or so TwT

  • Ooo! Ooo!

That one girl with the 3 dolls has an online comic called "Acrylic Eyes".

  • although i find obsessive people creepy. Like they beleive the doll is alive. Then its not a hobby... its a cult. Creeper people...

  • growing up is not optional. Its just how you grow up that is. If you wanna be a tight-ass adult that is "traditional" great. Or you could have the same hobby children might i mean its only considered for children because it was originally made for them... (the concept of a doll i mean).

yay bjd. I want one so badly... :(((((

  • I use my bjd for sexual purposes

  • I love the las thing she said about growing up < 3

  • what was allison's doll?

  • I never got this doll thing. Not that I was ever against them, it was just something I never really understood until now. They're really cute and I can see why people like them. I definitely don't have the patience for it though, so made props to doll owners.

UM. Didn't know there were indecent doll owners though.

  • 1:51-1:56 I think it moved

  • @compileme14 it did, When Allison moved, the cushion the doll is sitting on also moved, making it look like Kosuke moved too.

    -Kiki-chan78.

  • omg. I have no life. But I really wanna have these things :P

They look so cool and emo/scene ish :P

dang, i wish I have one. I so would love 2 have that displayed on my wall :(

Ummm....im a 14 year old dude, and iI think these things are kinda cool. Is tat weird? omg i feel so gay lol

  • @ct3gct3g Man, like what you like. No need to feel gay.

  • @BardAlsta thnx ^_^

  • hahah to the first speaker, i like your mc escher shirt! :)

  • what sort of...`naughty` things O.o

  • Wow that was perrty cool ^^

  • great vid :D

oh and can you tell me who is that girl with blue hair at 0:13 ? *__*

  • @Suiseiseki94, it's a Domuya Faye.

    -Kiki-chan78.

  • very well done! I cant wait till I get my first one!!

  • That is amazing! Great work :3

  • whats wrong with creepy doll owners!hmm!

  • i have 4 king size mattresses on my floor with shit loads of pillows n stuff, i doubt anybody can hide under that xD

  • Why do people associate dolls with not having to grow up? Who says dolls are for kids? This video is really well done~

  • Nice video and sooo beauty dolls ^_^

  • Comment removed

  • This way really well put together, and very informative; in fact it is better than some documentaries I have seen on national TV. 5 stars!

  • as a BJD owner, I think this is the best BJD video I've seen on YouTube

  • I'm thinking of getting a Lusion Black Dahlia doll from dollmore. It's sort of large but that just adds to the possiblities for clothing-making. I'm not good with small clothing.

  • @iChocolateGirl

woahhhhhhhhh you want a lusion doll lol, yeah they're really cool and really huge, good luck on getting her i just ordered my first doll ^.^

  • $700 dollars

    your kidding T_T

im never ever going to get one

  • Not all of them are that much. You can get a smaller MSD for like $200

I love this vid :D I wish I had BJD friends

  • what's the doll in the very, very beginning plz?

  • @darkmattersunshine

an obitsu... ask genkigirl78!! she knows it!

  • @logyi Where'd you get your Obitsu! Did you get it from an american distributor? Please tell me because I don't wanna have to spend my life savings and my soul for a doll.

  • @winxgirlalways Those are Obitsu. Obitsu are a brand of BJDs and are made from plastic. They pose very well but aren't so attractive as their Resin counterparts. If you don't want to spend so much I suggest looking into Doll Family or smaller say, 40cm dolls. Doll Family's larger dolls run for about 275 without a face up.

  • @BardAlsta Okay.

  • @BardAlsta I dunno, I think that the 50cm Obitsu is really cute. The default head has a very Anime Moe look to it. The 50cm obitsu is designed a lot better than the 60cm or the 55cm. But! If we are talking inexpensive BJDs, I'd look at Bobobie, Resinsoul, or Fantasy Doll.

    -Kiki-chan78.

  • @winxgirlalways Junkyspot(dot)com is where all of the obitsus in that video came from. Cool thing about JS is that there is a forum attached to the store, so you can talk to other doll owners there.

    -Kiki-chan78.

  • @darkmattersunshine.

The doll in the very beginning is an Obitsu Gretel. You can see it better at :34sec into the video.

    -Kiki-chan78.

  • @darkmattersunshine That's an Obitsu/Parabox Gretel. That head can be bought at Junkyspot(dol)com for about twenty dollars.

    -Kiki-chan78.

  • that was a really good video ^^

  • you made a great work, so did your friends. I will be very glad if you tell me what model of doll is the one that appears on the minute 2:22 of your vid. Thanks, (:

  • The doll that appears in min 2:22 is a Delf Chiwoo. They are made by Luts. ^__^

    -Kiki-chan78.

  • son delf o kid delf (msd)??

*O* da igual! son preciosos!! yo quiero que la mia llegue yaaaaaaaaaaa

  • I love those dolls! i wished i owned one

  • what kind of doll is the one with the skull shirt

  • It's an Obitsu ....Hansel? Gretel? One of those I think.

  • *waves hand* Yar.... I'm the owner of that specific doll. It's a gretel. ^____^

    -Kiki-chan78.

  • The one in the skull shirt is an Obitsu Gretel. That specific one can be seen in a couple of my videos. ^___^

    -Kiki-chan78.

  • i wanna know where they got them from coz im trying to find a female light drown skintone bjd. i need help. any one know where i can get one from?

  • what "naughty things" can you do with BJDs?!?!? LOL

  • If you find the right sites, you can find a full scaled BJD for "fun".

If I came across a full scale BJD, I'd dress him/her in my clothes and use him/her as a greeter for my guests... and maybe move the doll to sit in a completely appropriate position in my room, like let's say... sitting on the floor hugging knees and looking up at me as I type my RPs.

    So, yeah...

  • I'm not a creepy, creepy doll owner... Since everything I do with my dolls is take him for walks in my bag, but then I do photo shoots and stuff...

  • i wish their were more bjd owners at my school . nice documentery. :)

    btw i am a bjd owner :)

  • Are there any American doll shops? I have been thinking about buying these dolls for awhile and I'd like to know whether or not if there are American stores.

  • Yes, there is one in L.A im not sure were but im sure you can find it on google just type in L.A BJD shop.

  • Thank you!

  • This looks like an interesting hobby. I wouldn't mind making one myself.

  • geah!

I've just bought my first BJD, and Elfdoll Soah, and I'm happy to know that not all people think we're creepy.

  • :D Yeah, my cousin is really iffy about dolls and doll people in general because he's met those creepy owners. Then I got my first doll and I think he's warming up. But I know what you're talking about when it comes to like... THOSE people.

And my doll laughed when she said the doll was evil. I sorta laughed too XD Heh... evil BJD... that's funny.

  • How tall is you doll? Which site did you get it from? Male/Female?

General population looks down on doll owners when they have a larger scale doll like a 1/3 scale for example. It would be creepier on my part since I'll be getting a 1/2 scale boy, and he's going to be big enough to fit baby clothes.

  • this is really cool good job

  • pretty good for just a school project! The style is very close to a "real" documentary. I wish someone would make a full length documentary about BJDs- it would be so interesting!

  • omg i love this video :) i totally agree with all of your opinions. :D I'm getting my very first bjd very soon..!!

but... i get very confussed while i'm on the sites with the weird korean terms in stuff.. any helpful tips/information? :S

  • There are some great shots of Chiwoo in this one, makes me want a CP boy!

  • It should be noted that only the Obitsu style dolls really hold their pose that well. The other resin kind...need lots of help and coaxing...^^

  • eeeeeek i have 4 bjds and i LOVE them soooo much they are awsome to photograph and draw!!!!

    Great Video!!!

  • BJD dolls are not evil.

  • i second that.

  • The owners are

  • Very nice :D I love seeing other doll owners. Hecka yeah, we're not all creepy doll pervs!!! We're fun people!!!

  • yes,we are!

  • *looks over at Omi, Seiki and the three others that have shown up since that video was made.*

If you're really interested in getting a larger doll, why not look at companies other than Volks? The only thing that really matters (IMHO) when it comes to dolls, is that the doll is loved.

You can check the Den of Angels marketplace or Junkyspot forums for dolls on the secondary market (those dolls need good homes too). The Junkyspot store is also a good option for brand new dolls.

    -genkigirl78.

  • This was really interesting! I love seeing doll owners interact with their dolls and putting so much love into them. The last clip was great too. Excellent editing.

  • you guys are great.

  • very nice :) I adore the last statement

  • Awesome, this could be extended into a 30 minute special ore something :3 I'd be interested in watching something like that if anyone out there does another one.

  • They look like nice, fun, relaxing people to be around.I watched this and it whas like a fresh breath of air for some reason.

  • I think this was great. Truthful and open to how they feel about not only the dolls, but how they feel they work for them. I know I really enjoy owning my BJD over any other type of dolls I have owned. Bravo!

  • xD Very cool.

  • wow your vid is awesome! and everything said is so true... youve done a really great job

  • Nice movie!

I just wish it were longer!

    Congratulations! ^^

  • i whant my EL now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love that last comment, "While growing old is obligatory, growing up is completely optional." I'm going to use that.

  • Wow, this was so well done, I loved it XD I'm also an abjd owner :3

  • brilliant! ^_^ such a cute short. and I agree. We're not always creepy! BJDs are such a fun hobby and make great little companions.

  • aww!! i agree

  • Cute ^^

  • This is so lovely!
