Sometimes I point out when other railfans that I know of happen to appear in one of my videos if I don't mention it in the description. In many cases, other railfans appear in my videos and I don't mention who they are.

yeah that is true everytime i would ride the silver star all you hear is horn but it never really bothered me..but do u know if the enginerers of the train ride the whole route??

The crews change at certain stations along the line. Not exactly sure of all the stations they change crews at, but I believe Tampa and Jacksonville are two of them in Florida.

why did amtrak change the consist of the trains??? why are the sleepers in the back now?

I believe Amtrak changed the consist to benefit sleeping car passengers. There were too many complaints from sleeping car passengers about the horn and smoke from the lead engine(s).

Hey I recognize that idiot in Deerfield!! Its funny he looks alot like me... haha Well your video came out alot better than mine I need to practice more nighttime shots. I am in Savannah Georgia right now and tomorrow I will be going to the Amtrak station at 7am to pick up my grandfather from New York. He is coming in on 97 and of course I brought my camera and tripod. But my dad is taking me tonight to get familiar with the station. It would be cool if you caught the same 97 in Deerfield! @-:

Are you sure he does? :P Thanks for the comments as always! My camcorder had the same focus issue yours did a while back in which I switched to Manual Focus which isn't perfect, but a better option than Auto Focus. As I learned, Auto Focus doesn't get the job done when it comes to night videos.
