I have a question for the SSS alumni, can anyone post a video of the 1992 performance of the Marching Band performing Russian Christmas Music and Appalachian Spring? That was the best and most memorable performance. I saw it live in the SSS Marching Band Clinic in September of that year.

SSS is located in a predominately black area. but there area also a lot of white and hispanic people there. i know a lot of the kids in their band and they're black and white and hispanic

Great Job! I graduated in 1986-Doc Windley's last year at SSS. If any of the current SSS band members want to continue with marching band in college... you should check out Western Carolina University. The band up there is one of a kind! I played in the band at WCU in the late 80's. Search on youtube "Pride of the mountains 2008 indy" AWESOME performance!

There is another video of this show called "360 degrees" posted on youtube, but it took place later in the season at the Crystal Coast Classic in Havelock. Search for "SSS@ Havelock 2007."
