What's that all about? What many are saying is BS to me. For those who have watch the DVD there is nothing wrong between Céline and Garou. He's still very close to Céline, he makes sure here that she doesn't miss Ginette on her way out. She was in a ruch to take the plane. Céline is making signs to Garou that she will call him. Geez! people are always trying to find trouble where there is none. How many Divas do you know who will take the time to hug her team and than go home to their family?
I think it was intentional. I read somewhere that Celine and her husband put Garou on hold for a few years, and after he got his English album at last, he didn't wish that Celine's husband represent him anymore. Something like that.
They were withholding his english album for 5 years, the old man Rene trying to convince Garou that "it's for strategic reasons", waiting for the the right moment and then it will be "big". Garou is naive by nature so he patiently waited - and when he finally understood and wanted to quit his "benefactors" Rene wouldn't let him. And when the album was finally released (very discretly) it was simply too late for Garou. No international career for him.
He didn't make any matter clear, sorry. If you listen to the DVD that is out right now, you'll see that Céline gave at some point Garou a high five after one of his performance at the end. They see each other from time to time so she took the time to hug Ginette and Dan whom she won't see again maybe for years. If you had the beginning of this part of the DVD you would see she was heading straight to Garou. And as the friend he is, he pulled Céline toward Ginette with his hand.

They withhold the album for 5 years because there was many changes at Sony. They wanted to have interested and dedicated people to promote Garou's english debut. You don't get many changes in this business to make a first impression. If you know a little about the business you should know that there aren't many Sony people promoting Céline's carreer left there anymore neither. Garou left René's management team because he wanted to start his own production company. Get your facts right please!
