Thats right six years and the device has a twist to it...My unit will let me do 15mph over the speed limit and give me time to adjust....I dont suggest anyone doing what I do. @obedmusicians No it doesn't work. This company is a scam. I would recommend the Escort Redline, is an amazing product, expensive though but it has saved me so many times. Do your research and then invest your money wisely. Also take a look to the many press investigations of rocky mountain, the are exposed as a scam. They even tested the product with police officers.

For you who dont believe heres my story. I was traveling to California from Utah on I-80 running a rmr unit & a bear kat scannner to listen to the hyway patrol . 2am i was all alone when the rmr unit went off 4 separate times before the patrol car finally coming at me I'd say 1 1/2 miles out passed by me . He said over the bear kat scanner . Unit # you have a pickup heading your way see if you can get a reading . He answered Im on the side with a 4 wheeler cant do it . 4 miles ahead I saw him
I can't believe that it doesn't pick up anything until you're almost on top of it, and then quits right after you pass it. My Valentine 1 would have been squawking way ahead of that that and way past. I live near a school with a fixed speed detector sign like that, my V1 picks it up over 2 miles away.
Rocky Mountain Radars are crap, they do not scramble and they recommend you mount the unit below the rear view mirror which distracts your vision of the road. My DLS315 did not scramble and I ended up with a speeding ticket but I do admit I mounted my unit 6 inches up from the bottom of the windscreen.
You can NOT test this on box that you see on the side of the road that shows how fast your going because the speed box does not follow those same rules 7 times back and forth like the guns the cops use.
when a radar sends out the signal to your car to determine your speed it needs to go from the gun to your can and back 7 times before the gun will read your speed, if it misses just one time it will not read your speed on the gun, so the jammer takes out one of the signals so the gun wont read your speed.
I can tell you why your Jammer dosn't work when you take out of the box you have to read the book in the box they sell them deactivated and you have to activate it and I did your little ad with the $50,000.00 and sent the guy a video of me and my buddy thats a police officer testing it and it worked great and the guy said oh well it's not a media out let sorry but you do not win the money....lol....what a joke.

That is a "sport radar" it pings your vehicle one time for the speed - fairly accurate, but not accurate enough to hold up in court. Cops use one that pings you multiple times and compares, in theory the RMR scrambles these so they don't match and they don't get a read out. I am not claiming RMR works, just that this is not the test for it.

i have a esd 979 model from cobra does great at detecting early very good in fact but honestly there never going to make a good jammer thats intigrated into you detector if you want to not be detected than buy jammer spray or pannals stay away from integrated jammers
you may also want to read the manual as it states position in center of winshield under rearview mirror with NO Obstructions Also would be good idea to turn on VG2.
Its funny cause i have the exact same unit and it scrambled a new sheriff car using lasar (lidar) so he came out pulled me over and said quote "did your detector detect me?" he was mad cause he couldnt get my exact speed!
Yours must simply be broken, cause mine scrambled a sheriff with no issues! not to mention he was pissed and did a visual estimation to get my speed, then again i also made sure after putting into my car to follow all instructions the whole 360 bit and making sure VG2 was on! oh not to mention the 11 trooper cars i flew past doing 90+ going to Ohio an 8 hour drive scrambled them all!

it probably jams laser radar only. As its not governed by FCC. The K band signal is FCC regulated and you can transmit a malicious signal intentionally. However, laser, being that it is off the frequency spectrum of FCC's rules, allows for jamming capability. Just a thought.
It does state that it has no effect on the trailers because they dont have the chips the guns do. Therefore they cant write tickets off of them. And yes, I speed all the time 10 to 30 over. RMR jammers do not jam. A police friend of mine tested a RMR jammer and my friend told me my speed the whole way. Yea it detected my buddy, but in no way jamed his police unit gun.

The modulated radar signal is bounced back to the radar gun, and the gun will become confused (because of the frequency modulated reflection) as long as the gun has a microprocessor. Most cop guns have a processor b/c they take ~5 different readings before an average speed is given by the gun, which is your "clocked speed." Since a trailor is in realtime, no avg reading is needed thus no processor.
When people talk about a sampling computer, it doesn't mean they have a computer that that has radar samples on it; rather, they're talking about a computer that samples, meaning that it takes a number of readings and averages them together. In this case, the computer inside the gun takes a number of readings and averages them to get your average speed.
If you go to rocky mountain radar website they tell you that it will not scramble these units.

radarroy did a test on the rocky mountain radar. it did in fact NOT jam on a passive or active laser gun.
it did work, but not well. it detected the k-band from not even a quarter mile away. judging by how fast your going, by the time that thing goes off the popo will already have your speed.

number one your detecot sounds nothing like the real RMR c-450 as it powers on it lists VG-2 the beeps are diffrent you have a fake RMR obviousley and to top that off RMR website explains why they do not work on these detection stations it explains why they do not scramble them in detail. go to the FCC website type in rocky mountain radar and look that the FCC proved they work and is trying to ban them. Yes, thats a real RMR. I have plenty of friends who were mislead by the RMR. They do not jam, they are a waste of money. Oh and yes the 2 friends what were mislead bought them off the website. lmao, those speed signs are the same as police radar with the exception of a few but they do not alert detectors. This one uses RADAR to obtain your speed and RADAR is RADAR whether in a car or on a speed trailer. If it can't jam a trailer it can't jam police RADAR. They do jam from like 1 foot away woopdee doo a cop gets your speed from a quarter to half a mile.
I do also have a Kustom Falcon radar gun, I have tested it numerous times with that gun with no jamming effect, If I could somehow find a way to show the read out of the gun and the inside of the car at the same time to prove the video is not "doctored" I would do so, but I cant so I wont

number one your detecot sounds nothing like the real RMR c-450 as it powers on it lists VG-2 the beeps are diffrent you have a fake RMR obviousley and to top that off RMR website explains why they do not work on these detection stations it explains why they do not scramble them in detail. go to the FCC website type in rocky mountain radar and look that the FCC proved they work and is trying to ban them. Can't argue with teh government but at least do your homework before mileading people.

Yes, thats a real RMR. I have plenty of friends who were mislead by the RMR. They do not jam, they are a waste of money. Oh and yes the 2 friends what were mislead bought them off the website. They do jam, but in order for it to jam you would basically have to be hitting the cop head on, then who needs to jam it if your in a fatal crash :D haha. The RMR has a jam range of about 5 ft. It jams, so therefor it is and it is illegal

The FCC didnt mention how far it jammed, just it did jam. If it jams within 5 feet what good will it do you? Not a thing, so therefor its a useless piece of junk

lmao, those speed signs are the same as police radar with the exception of a few but they do not alert detectors. This one uses RADAR to obtain your speed and RADAR is RADAR whether in a car or on a speed trailer. If it can't jam a trailer it can't jam police RADAR. They do jam from like 1 foot away woopdee doo a cop gets your speed from a quarter to half a mile.

I do also have a Kustom Falcon radar gun, I have tested it numerous times with that gun with no jamming effect, If I could somehow find a way to show the read out of the gun and the inside of the car at the same time to prove the video is not "doctored" I would do so, but I cant so I wont
