Listen, I'm a massive Janet fan and I own all her albums from Control--->Discipline, but this isn't live. It's called a pre-recorded live vocal. Everyone does it. Most of this tour is pre-recorded. All you have to do is watch a song from one date and then another date and you'll see it sounds identical. I hope I'm wrong but as far as I can tell, I'm not.

The biggest clue is her microphone... when she wears a headset, she's lipping. On the ballads with a real mic, she's singing live.

@foxesamu that's not true at all. Pre-recorded and lipsyncin are 2 different things. Pre recorded means she sings live OVER the tracks which she only did in songs like "nasty" or "feedback" (and only during the chorus of those songs) this is all live. I mean COME ON: listen to all the sounds her mouth makes, frm the breathing, to the glottal sounds to the adlibs. No one could POSSIBLY memorize to lip ALL of that along with the choreography and whatnot.
