so i have a rambler built on slab with laminate flooring throughout.

but now... it's too hard of surface and i fear for children safety.

can i put carpet over my laminate?? if so , what do you suggest?

Well, yes, but parquet wood flooring should not even be considered unless you live in a small town in Idaho with a population of 200 that's trying to catch up to 1985... otherwise, use real hardwood flooring plank please.
