I think this guy is sadly misrepresenting the gospel. I, like many others...don't care about denominational labels. He states that you can't find a baptist in the bible. Duh! Why is this an issue? The only thing I care about is the gospel of Jesus christ. And to me that's found in the King James version of the scriptures.
Jesus and Christ are seperate? Is this guy a Christian Scientist or something? By the way, he is SO wrong about what the Baptist Church teaches. I was raised in the Baptist Church and came to know the Lord as my Savior when I was 8. We believe in a profession of faith in Jesus and then baptism.
1. Matthew Chapter 9 tells us that Jesus Christ had the authority to forgive sins by his will alone while he was alive in the flesh. So of course the malefactors did not have to be Baptise because Jesus was alive when he saved them. 2. When we are Bapitise we are Bapitise to be buried into the death of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. So of course logically the malefactors wouldn't be Baptise because they couldn't be buried into his death while Christ was still alive.
As the parable of the sower attests, that was the seed (word of God) finding good ground (a good heart, Heb. 4:12). Amen

Thank you for preaching the word as it is in the bible. God bless the man that recognized what he needed to do and the one that presented it to him.
