  • zerg should of rushed terran after their first battle, also, zerg wasted resources and time on lurkers, instead of going for some guardians and devourers...

  • oh the good old day when terran was the shit. When will the time come again?

  • @woofantango123 i know this is a year old comment, but terran sucked ass back before flash... it's only recently where everyone is freaking out about terran because flash is winning everything

  • @givosify lolwut? Boxer, NaDa, and Oov all have something to say about that...

  • I see the point you are all making. It's all about mass control.

Having gone and watched some Saviour vs Iloveoov matches I still maintain that Terran holds the military advantage in this matchup.

Zergs best hope of winning is to harrass their expoes into oblivion using superior mobility and score an economic win.

  • Watch Iris vs GGPlay OSL finals. It shows GGPlay's great use of Dark Swarm, and Terran is definately not unstoppable vs Zerg. Of course, if you let Terran get a large group of Sci Vessels, it makes things difficult. That's what plague is for. ;D

  • lol..the color war.. RED/ORANGE vs GREEN

  • plague + a couple of mutas can totally detroy a large group of vessels

  • That was a bit of a sweeping statement. Ultralisk forces seem to have a chance late as well, as do Zergling rushes.

From what I've seen this season's Zerg wins against Terran have mostly been with early Zergling rushes excepting odd maps.

For the record my first post was made while drunk...

  • no offense but your 'opinion' is kind of bs. are you saying that pro zerg players only win if they go mutas early?

  • If you want to see what I mean by critical mass of Science Vessels, look at what happens at 17:30 in this video.

How do you counter that!? Scourge would get munched by marines, devourers aren't versatile or potent enough to warrant their cost which leaves mutalisks which have questionable value VS massed marines....

  • thats why u dont let Terran mass M&M like that..

  • I think the matchup comes down to Science Vessel micro... They hit critical mass, after which point lurkers can't touch the marines which get to use their superior focus fire to nail anything else.

Zerg need a massive macro advantage so that they hit mutas early, or so they overwhelm the terrans - that's the only way IMO.

  • uhhh not really wat about savior he beaten many players like iloveoov and boxr and many more + red[nada] and most of them did MM+Tanks+Vessel and they still lost

  • I am starting to think that Z v T is imbalanced in favour of T based on more recent matchups - the m&m + science vessels combo seems unstoppable unless Zerg hits critical mass of Mutas first and Terran seriously fucks up their base defense...

    What can I say?

  • Well, sometimes it seems like dark swarm plus lurkers and lings are "unstoppable". Just depends on who is playing.... .

  • Mmmm... Just watch some match between Savior and Iloveoov and think again.

  • "Mmmm... Just watch some match between Savior and Iloveoov and think again."

    indeed
