I used the "threshold~" object to detect levels in an audio file, sent those through some math objects to control to get the values in the range I of the faders, and then plugged inthem in the the fadersthat control the effects. I also ahve tried using "adc~" plugged into the threshold object and then feeding audio in trough a mic, but I liked using the audio file better.
you need to extract data from the sound file. Perhaps taking the numbers you get from the snapshot object, or any other number box that might control osc~
