We (the fans) need to get a petition going to send to the film makers and Donald Bellasario for a script to be put into place for a film version of this show with the original actors. Its based off time travel, so they can always use the original actors no matter how much they age. Dean and Scott are still in great shape to do it, so lets make it happen b4 Hollywoods dum ass gets replacement actors. Scott's such a down to earth guy. One of my faves! Bellasario always made Magnum PI and Jag.

I just said on another posting that they should reprise their Quantum Leap roles in a movie. Sam could leap into his modern day self in the future or somethin. This way, they could use the original actors. No one likes replacement actors when a film is made from a favorite fan series. Do you not agree?

I tend to stay on top of things like movies, comics, video games, and tv, but no. I'm afraid I haven't heard of a film. I hope your friend is a reliable source or they got their info from a credible source. It would be great to see Sam leap into his present day self where the project finally leaps him home. Scott and Dean are well capable of pulling it off for a film. That final episode just blew.  Will Hollywood do it or will they allow too much time to pass like the 4th Indiana Jones film?

Thanks for adding this! It's so hard to find behind the scenes stuff for QL, even though it was an awesome show. Plus, I gotta admit, I never outgrew my Dean Stockwell crush. :D
