  • It's Saiidi not Sahiti :-/ and @snakechama, while bellydance is supportive, you must respect the technique and vocabulary. Someone who does not know the proper name for a movement has no business teaching, especially in an "expert" video series, although expert village has a habit of not choosing professionals.

  • @nefabit She says Saiidi, not Sahiti! :)

  • @nefabit She says Saiidi, not Sahiti!

  • This is a good lesson. I didn't know about this type of hip drop. Thank you very much for the info. I'm very grateful for these free bits of information. They help a lot.

  • It's Sa-EEDEE you idiots not Sahiti! I'm embarrassed for you

  • THanks for sharing. In my classes, I call this the Mahmoud Reda hipdro as this is how he taught me. I think you are very kind to share your dance movements with Expert Village and You Tube. Keep up the good work.

  • Very nice moves, easy to follow. Your sound quality is very poor, though. FYI

  • Good dancing, no matter what others say. Poor sound quality on ur vid. tho

  • Those who say she don't know what she is doing... that this is not saidi etc.. She never said she is doing saidi. It is in the title and it's what she say a saidi hip drop move... never been or will be something else.

  • sahiti? seriously?im not learning anything from yoy if you are an expert learn the name of the region please correct and re upload this is insulting to egyptians

    it's saidi

don't offend people change the spelling

  • where is the world going..... insulted by a word spelled wrong? Wonder how english speaking people must feel... not to mention all others who speak different languages..

  • I'm not insulted by a word spelled wrong..it's just that when someone else spells this wrong they aren't calling themselves "experts" and posting thing son "expert village" sure if this was a random person, I wouldn't even comment, I would just correct it, but expert village? seriously? yes that is obnoxious...and this needs to be corrected, how embarassing

  • But it's not the professional instructor who make any misstake. She say it correct so why all the fuzz? It's a "random" person who wrote it probably.

  • Actually it is Saiidi! Perhaps you should learn this before you comment. Upper case S and another lower case i. Thanks so much smart alek. I doubt she is the one that does the uploading. Have you ever heard of a mistake? You just made one yourself.

  • LOL

the way I wrote it was fine too...You really want to get smart? in arabic it's actually صعيدي

So there you go!! You just got served! lol

  • Did you translate that on the internet? Try some manners translation why don't you?

  • no, I didn't translate it on the internet; I speak and write and type and read arabic; I don't think google would give you anything if you wrote Saiidii anyway lol; because saidi is NOT a translation it is a phonetic spelling fyi; I'm sorry if that was rude; I was being semi light hearted I apologize

  • @soniaochoafan The videographer/editor got it wrong. Not the dancer!!!

  • is that arabic music farting in the end? lol!!

  • That's not how I learned it from many different teachers. ????

  • wow this is the harshest set of comments i have seen on a belly dance video. so much for this benig a dance for women by women with suport from your fellow sisters. it turns out its just the same as any other dance, full of judgementel people, little suport from fellow dancers and no sisterly love...way to kill something amazing guys good job..... does it really matter if she said it wrong come on...

  • dah, in the video, if you listen, the instructor says, Saidi not sahiti! The person who posted the video got it wrong not the instructor!

  • psh, americans pronounce the "t"s like "d"s sometimes, so im not suprised it sounds like she said it wrong

  • yeh it's saidi...I was wondering what the heck Sahiti move was?? I was like...oooo new move...hehhehe
