lol, yes it would if your motherboard has a PCI Express slot. but your mother board will have a chipset that is not really designed to run with nvidia cards. and you definately could not run SLI. i have the same processor as you, and the motherboard i have uses the xpress 3200 chipset. if i were you i would get 2x DX-10 ATI cards in xfire, they are cheap and due to the way the boards are build can out perform their nvidia counterparts in SLI. its amd's processors that seriously let them down.

Oh, and hopefully you've got the e-vegetation cmd line set to 100, as this usually improves performance due to the game not having to swap in shitty 2D trees at distance, the overhead of which kills any performance benefit it might deliver. Plus 2D veg looks like hell especially at high res.

Where's the HDR, mr. big shot?  That'll almost cut your fps in half. With my slow old A64 3500+, XFX 7950 GT AGP (i know, i know), 2 GB kington hyperx 3200, running at 1920x1200 with all ultra details, 4xaa and 8x aniso, WITH hdr enabled, I can still manage 40-50 fps.

Try again with HDR and then I'll be impressed.

Okay, now I see it when I look at the sun. It looks like you have the r_hdrrendering set to a 1 or a 2, I usually have mine set to about a 7. The amount of bloom makes no difference though, same performance hit from 1 to 11, so I stand corrected. Very impressive!

Your proc is still way better, mine will only be 1 Mb L2 and no DDR2, can't afford new ram on top of everything else

Dammit! My rig sucks even more now. The only thing I'll still have on you is two G92's in SLI, and depending on how much the x2 or darn limited-to-x8-in-SLI PCIe slots on the LanParty bottleneck the gpu's, all that graphics power might not count for a lot. Whatever though, it'll still be 3 times as fast as what I have now.

It's clearly the GPU's. And also, just a note, my 8600GT XXX runs Crysis with full settings DX10, everything and I get a playable framerate, the only thing that isn't playable is when things explode near me, or multiple explosions. Apart from that, it runs fine. So, talk shit mate.
