  • About your first reason: If one eat juicy food time to time or have some juice diet or even have some juicy meal every day that wouldnt couse teeth or jawls problems. About your thirth reason: tasteing food is not the purpose of feading. This is one of reasons why so many people are fat and why eat too much even when not hungry.

All food must become juicy in mouth while chewing before swallow. If one eat water lemon only juice goes down.

    Other way thanx for sharing.

  • @spacepathfinder1 Watch carefully to the video and read the description--- what I am talking about is feasting and fasting---where people spend weeks and months doing nothing but juicing everything in a blender. It isn't about eating juicy fruits. Some people think that juicing is the ONLY way 2 healthy and lose weight. It is not safe for diabetics and they don't learn lifestyle changes that are REALLY what is needed. God gave us taste buds and it is important to enjoy food.

  • @spacepathfinder1 It isn't the enjoyment of flavors that is the problem but it is perverted tastes that is the problem. Tastes can change, we can learn to enjoy the flavors of healthy food but it isn't enjoyed when the juiced stuff is swallowed down in a homogeneous mixture. They lose the variety that God meant us to enjoy. Most all juicing removes FIBER which is vital to good health. Fiber removes excess cholesterol, fat and toxins.

  • @spacepathfinder1 THIS VIDEO IS ONLY ABOUT LONG TERM JUICING that is a substitute for making lifelong lifestyle changes that will keep a person healthy. It isn't about eating juicy fruit. I am well aware of instances where FOR MEDICAL reasons juicing is valuable but that is not the point of this video. But I have seen too many people that think that this is how they will have to eat to be healthy. There are serious risks for some people like diabetics.

  • some good points.

  • Wow well I've never considered the points you explained. I have been having smoothies for breakfast, but I also eat solid foods throughout the day. I don't use a juicer. I will have to try having my water in between meals to see also the difference that makes over time. Thank you for sharing this.

  • Is it wrong to drink water with meals?

  • @Rubystars1000 The ideal time to drink water is between meals. An hour before or after works best. That gives the body time to absorb the liquid and the desire for liquids at meal time won't happen. Liquids at meal time slows down the digestion and is often the cause of indigestion. If people would just try it they will feel an imporvment in how they feel.

  • I agree juicing isn't ideal, but if you gave me a choice between eating all those fruits and veggies or drinking the juice, i would choose the juice because I wouldn't have the time or the appetite to eat what they recommend

  • @defgill I wouldn't worry about what they recommend because they don't know our bodies like we do but if we replace the harmful foods that we are eating for whole plant foods it is easy to get enough of the fruits and veggies.

  • @garymccaffrey The rest our digestion needs should be between the meals that should be about 5 hours apart. If the nutriton is digested slowly (as it was DESIGNED TO BE) a person won't get hungry between meals. Some nutrients are not digested until much later and need the slower process. I think it would be wise to consult researchers and educators on anatomy that are not trying to sell you a juicer. I am not talking about blending. I am talking about juicing. BTW, fiber IS important.

  • @garymccaffrey Excuse me but where were you when I did research this subject? Our saliva was made for a purpose and unless it is throughly mixed with the food it will be poorly digested. To say that juiced food is pre-digested is to go on the assumption that saliva is not needed. I think you need to do a little research on what saliva is and what is in it. Who says that we need all the nutrition to be absorbed in seconds? If it is absorbed in seconds than there is no LONG TERM energy.

  • @Tiberio1609 I hope that is true. There are some helpful medical uses for it however I have come across too many people that rely on it for weight loss or simply a way of life. Some never learn how to make sustainable lifestyle changes that will keep them in health. They seem to think that the rest of their life will be juice feasting or fasting. It is dangerous for a diabetic---I know of one diabetic that had serious trouble from drinking carrot juice.

  • Wonderful video, makes perfect sense to me. Thanks so much for posting this!

  • @Raszagil thank you. :)

  • This sound right to me--except for the bit about mixing apple sauce with cereal. My stomach would have no luck with that combination.

  • @jesuisravi I thought it was weird when I saw a friend of mine in college do it. It is just a suggestion. :)

  • This sound right to me.

  • Great video. One also consumes too many calories with juice. Who would eat 20 carrots at one sitting? Not many of us but that is easy to do when you juice. I would consider it "overnutrition". Our bodies need the fiber that comes along with it for optimal health and eating refined foods and extracted foods are too caloric and nutritionally dense which are bodies are not really designed for assimilating. Throw away the juice and eat whole foods!

  • @plojka1 :) You are so right!!! Thank you!!!

  • @3TllM Your sentance is a bit confusing to me---juicing is better or non-juicing is better?

  • Who would have thought that she's NOT on roids???

  • @trakkaton What are those?

  • @LegPains I'm sure you have an opinion but healthy digestion is more than throwing fruit and vegetables in the blender. Too often people cause indigestion with juicing. Our saliva glands are too easily bypassed and they are important for breaking down the carbohydrates, protein and sugars in the food.----To show what I'm talking about put a piece of bread in your mouth and chew for 2-3 minutes---it will become sweet---that is the beginning of digestion. Juiced stuff slips past without saliva.

  • @LegPains In my discription of this video I mention that there are some cases where it can be used for medical situations and I mention that I'm not talking about an occasional juicing. I would like to always agree with my viewers however I'm not sure how it helps a person begin and stay on a raw vegan diet. It teaches nothing about healthy meal preperation or making healthy choices when traveling. I have seen so many YT juice feasts and fasts that go on for months. I'm addressing those.

  • @nyame73 You're welcome. :)

  • Apple Sauce instead of Milk...

Hmmmmmmmm.. I never thought of that.

It would be nicer on the tummy

  • @LauraBeachnut I'ts yummy. Kinder to fat cells too. :)

  • I thought this was going to be some rant about nothing important but Im so glad I clicked here. She was very informative and smart...

...and let's face it, smart is sexy!

    you go girl!

  • Thank you for responding so thoughtfully. I am curious if you would advocate against juicing if that were the only way a person ate fruits and vegetables excluding rare occasions. In other words is no juicing better than no fruits or vegetables?

  • @chrisdafur1 Since fruit and vegetables taste so good and are so good for a person why even make that choice? Nothing like biting into a tomato or grape or any fruit and feel the pop of the skin and the sweet juicy insides. I can't imagine juicing being prefered to that taste experience. I don't see why a person would want to make such a hard set of choices for themselves. I really fail to understand why this subject generates so much resistance.

  • some good information but I wonder if this should be targeted towards people who juice for all meals. I personally would not eat the quantity of fruits and vegetables that I do if not for juicing.

  • @chrisdafur1 Thank you for your kind comment. How would I direct a video to a perticular audience since it is public? From what I have learned the amount of fruit and vegetables used to make juice is actually unnecessary for good health. Vitamins & minerals consumed in their natural state with the micro-nutrients are used more effeciently by the body than when extracted by juicing.

  • @chrisdafur1 Also, plant fiber is key for weight loss & healthy arteries & gives slow steady release of nutrition for sustained energy. I eat with 5 hours between meals with no snacks or drinks between meals and don't feel hungry between them because of the fact that it is slow released energy. I have even gone 10 hours in the day (skipping lunch) without discomfort and then a little fruit in the evening for supper.

  • exellent video i juice at night only and in the morning but i mix food an protein with it and solid foods.....only an idiot would juice every meal.

  • @simplygarnett You are correct about animals having teeth, they don't juice their food either and they seem to have survived these many years without a juicer and they do chew their food. The stomach has to absorb the liquid before it can begin digesting the food. The liquid in it also dilutes the stomach acids that break down the nutrients making it less effective. I really think it would be wise to take some basic anatomy and physiology classes. I'm sure you mean well. :)

  • @simplygarnett Why do you suppose we were created with teeth and salivary glands? The saying "Use it or lose it" applies to our teeth, oral muscles and jaw bones. I think it would be good for people to do a little study of Anatomy and Physiology and learn what the salivary glands and fluids are for and how improtant they are for the assimilation of vitamins and minerals. When a person drinks their food the saliva doesn't get mixed into the food. Chew, chew, chew.

  • @simplygarnett I watched some of his videos before I did this one on juicing. It isn't the blender that causes the remarkable results, it is the unprocessed whole plant foods that are put into the blender. If I put greasy fries, a burger and soft drink in the blender and lived off that I'd be fat and sick. When a person goes from the SAD diet to juiced whole plant foods of course there will be improvement but a greater improvement will be seen with an unjuiced whole plant diet.

  • Great video :) Thank you for the ideas:)
