You know you can move the monitor location right? That way instead of moving the mouse to the right, you can move it to the top left for your locations in this vid.
Anyway, their is no 1 or 2 screen in my settings, I have dual monitors set up in Windows 7 on this netbook, but XP only sees my monitor, even when pressing the key on my keyboard, it doesn't know the screen on my netbook exists... only sees it when it starts up on there, any way to fix this in XP?
hi, im kinda trying to figure out how to use an old CRT monitor (u know, TV with RCA vid in/out ports only),. got the cables for plugging it, extended desktop works however with problems such as : three output appearing on the TV, no color... i need to figure out if there is a problem with my laptop's video adapter or wit the cable itself..
I have 2 monitors, with 3 outputs on my video card, both working, can I watch an online video on one monitor, and web surf on the other? If I can, how would I do that? Thanks. I have xp with a nvidia 7300 gt 256, 46" samsung and 19" dell. Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR..soon.
I have a question: I want to plug a second monitor on my laptop and plug my TV at the same time via S-Video slot.,. But I'm only able to make one of them work. Both work, but not at the same time. It doesn't matter if the desktop is duplicated on the TV, I just want to use it as a "shit box" for video editing. Is there any option or a driver for making my second monitor and the TV working at the same time?
if u have vga ang dvi plug on ur gpu u just need a monitor with standard vga plug and another with dvi or just a dvi to vga adapter. if ur gpu doesnt have this u must get another gpu or u can plug ur other monitor to a vga port on ur motherboard. but u probably won't be able to run more advanced games on that monitor cuz motherboard gpu's usually sux. so choose carefully.
I have the same inspiron 6000 laptop but when i plugged in the second monitor, instead of having an extra monitor it displays the same thing on each screen. Do you have and Troubleshooting techniques?
go to the nVidia/ATI control panel, and select run duel monitors set up, and you will have a choice of, Clone, Horizontal Span, or Duel view, the setting this guy has in his first example is duel view,

A brief monitor question, if anyone can answer it:
I currently have a 17" laptop running @ 1440x900
If I buy a 22" monitor @ 1680x1050 and try to dual screen with my laptop (extend my desktop) will windows get messed up as I drag them across?
What is your reccomendation for dual monitors at different resolutions?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
