I don't know what one is 3.35, but I find it pretty odd to think you can't copy from one file to the other. The best I can think to do there though is to have all your sprites on one sheet like me, then just delete whichever Pokemon you are NOT using, then shrinking the canvas and "Save As". It's really backwards and a waste of time, but I don't know of another way if you can't copy from another program.
To copy and past a picture in paint you can also just press ctrl+c/v
And by the way, there is a problem with the sprite sheet from the Spriters Resource because if you erase all the black the black outlines of every pokemon will be withe, too. Just look at Pichu's tail if you do that.

Most programs and uploading things tend to default to other file types, such as .jpeg. These file types basically drop the quality. PNG and GIF though retain the sprites image pixel to pixel. A sprite saved otherwise will look ugly, and won't be editable anymore either.
If you follow my steps exactly and are using paint, then it should work. The things you might be missing are stuff like you aren't making your secondary color the same as the background, or aren't hitting the transparent button on the side whhile moving pieces. It also is possible you are messing up the source sprite, and the sprite you get doesn't have the same white color that you have.
The color you want to make transparent must be the secondary color. Then on your tool box, when you have the move tool selected there are two options. The second makes it so your secondary colors becomes transparent. As I said, watch the video. Watch my actions closely.
How can you put the mustache in Togefly without getting blocked the mustache by a white square?
When I try to combine the mustache with togefly it covers Togefly with a white thing surrounding the mustache. SO I can't combine it it's so hard. Please tell me how.

And it's pretty good, except you can use thumbnails under "view" instead of just scrolling around back to its original size.
Also, that ctrl trick helps a bunch.
