I had thought about using Saturday Afternoon or School, but decided against it.

I'd always loved the chemistry between Matt and Kristy. The way they reflect youth was happily done by both. I read in later years McNicol said she was a lesbian. I've never hated her for that, I just couldn't understand how Matt Dillon didn't live up to her standards.
