both bands was shitty if you ask me . first austin high yall dancers did good flag to . but how you go be in the middle in drop your flag ????? if you ask me austin did better they came hard for a small band like that because i play in a band in cincinnati oh . but therrel high did ight they dancers was shitty they band was ight but had a few mess up but other then that it was ight . im not trying to dis nobody . but good job for showing up in did good at what yall did .
It is designed for there to be no winner so that trashtalking doesn't start. @sweetiepye94, Therrell did a great job in their instruments, especially that first song but come on18 against 9? thats a no brainer. Therrell had the advantage in sound and A-E had advantages in auxiliary and drum line. It's hard to grasp that rich sound with 9 instruments, especially w/o balance. As a trombone, I had to hold my own because I'm by myself. It's hard to have great sound while blasting. Good job everybody
Both bands did great im apart of the AE MARCHING BAND and yea we did good but for them notto have a drumline they did good.. we sounded great with our 11 instruments so it was all fun and games both bands and all of the rest did excellent!!!!
See you cant be nice if Therrell hade a drumline we would of killed there drumline and therrell is full they have everything and we not full if we was full it would have been over for Therrell so stop putting Austin East in the dirt cause we killed it the fans loved us way more then Therrell yeah they did really good but Austin East got them....... Therrell did a really good job!!! They did classic songs that anybody can identify Aehs was good but Panther pride forever baby!!!!
And for Therrell not to have a drum line at all they did a damn good job the drums enhance the music but they wouldnt be shit without the rest of the band Aehs was all drum which drowned everything else out!

The event was our idea, we chose to put you up against Therrell because a few bands dropped out due to prom and you all were the smallest there. Your 2008 clips do not matter to anyone in 2011 except yourself so stop trying to down other band programs and work on improving your own. We appreciate your love and pride for your school and band program, but you guys were NOT the best of the best out there by far. Practice

@MrAustinEast As a graduate of Therrell HS I must respond. First off, why can't you appreciate great musicianship between both bands? Yes, there wasn't a drumline, but you do not know the story behind it. Next, yes your band did a great job. There was an immense amount of school pride and hype. Clarity could have been better- and that goes for both bands. Additionally, I believe that our dancers could have been better, but that is what happens when a band program switch directors within 2 years.
@MrAustinEast Not only that, but our dancers have no coach at the moment. So I believe they did pretty fine for just having each other. This is what's wrong with black bands. We are too focused on blowing each other out and talking trash that we forget out positive critiques and words of encouragement. Yes, competition is fun and having rivals, but it shouldn't be hateful and classless. We are rebuilding our band program. Everyone can not start at the top. And I am proud that my band has humble

Therell has the better sound between both ensembles. I would have loved to hear them be accompanied by percussion, but this was a great sound.
