dude i have a serious question...what r ur emulation settings cause im using desmume and my DQ9 runs way slow after the main menu...and it kinda makes me mad cause idk how to fix it...i've literally tried everything

@mizz2112 I know the Desmume really uses a bunch of ram (for some reason.)  If you don't have a pretty powerful computer you can get a lot of lag.

@Kenshin1913 What Emulator are you using? Also, I wouldn't say this is the worst DQ game. I would say it would be maybe... 3rd best?

The graphics are impressive considering this is a DS title. I just got this cause of your witty commentary and the game looks fun. Can't wait to play it.

alright here's a tip: Dont upgrade your skills until you get to a certain point, you may discover another weapon you cant equip to your current 'Vocation' and when you change 'vocation' into one that can you may discover a weapon/ 'vocation' skill you truly love (war cry, magic mirror or you may like a 'Vocations' magic like frizz or zing)

i have this game is really good i have a tip for swords if u want a double hit if your doing normal attack get a FALCON SWORD from your ship u will need the key to the cell though

That's because DQ8 is the standerd for this series. But like I said many of times before it would be good if Squre Enix puts a bigger budget in this series and made more games for PS3 or Xbox360. But most of the budget goes to Final Fantasy games. Well the U.S budget anyway.

1- dragon quest 8 journey of the cursed king.

i never played dragon quest 8 though but i still love it and i would pay 100 euros for a remake of it for the ps3!!!

Just to let you know, when I played the game, I decided to call my characters in a DBZ fashion. So, I named my main character Goku and made his hair yellow. (HUMANOID NOT-SO-STRONG SUPER SAIYAN!)

When I found out you can create your own customized characters, I made 3 more DBZ styled character which are Gohan, Vegeta and Trunks. All with yellow hair. And Trunks normal hairsyle too

This is my second favourite game of the series. Would've been my first if you could've faced the Legacy Bosses without having to find someone else that's nearby that has the game. Also I'm not sure if you've used this ability before but if you get a Minstrel's Letheness to 82 you get Have A Ball which is one of the best abilities in the series in my opinion

Also I found a way to widen the screens so they take up more of the Youtube window. If you use Camstudio's Zoom and Pan feature and turn aspect ratio off you can set your own screen width with both screens to make it bigger. You probably won't want to go too wide cause that will just make in-game characters stretched too wide. Also with Zoom and Pan you can focus on one screen on parts of the video where only one screen is used anyways.
