  • This sounds like a porno :/

  • Great items, Jack. I particularly like the salt and pepper things and the silicone scoop.

Next time you do one of these, however, please show each one in action.

  • Cool items!

  • i want the silicone ring for my cheese cakes and i want the salt and pepper squeezers.where can these 2 items be purchased at?

  • spelled with "K's",from alabama,hmmmmm?

  • couldn't you cut cookies with the straight edge kiuck kut...thingy???

  • I would have enjoyed seeing the scoopy-thing in action.

  • Jack I own the scoop and it works great. Its great for any cookie dough item.

  • I like the salt and pepper shaker and the scoop

  • i have this chopper type thing and it can chop any thing it has acover by the blade and a thing you put on the bottom with the thing you cut and the blde spins to

  • i want the last one

  • Man, Jack, I would do a lot for that silicon pie thing. Do you know who makes that?

  • @Blurgle3 Go to amazondotcom and type Silicone Pie Crust Shield in the search box. Different styles and manufacturers to choose from.

  • @Willow71MM amazondotca doesn't seem to have them under that search, and .com doesn't ship to Canada. Thanks anyway

  • kids, please don't bake your pies in plastic dishes

  • Great Episode! Thank you! :)

  • I have a "W" shaped cutter., great for onions

  • are you sure the kwick cut doesn't flip around and become flat?

  • just accidentally hit the subscribe button. I REGRET NOTHING.

  • I had the salt and pepper shaker but I got rid of it because it took so much effort to get a lot of pepper out of it.

  • The salt/pepper grinder was the coolest gadget. I don't get why you would want that chopping tool to not have a flat bottom. I feel like the ridged one wouldn't cut all the way through things.

  • Like others, the salt and pepper mill didn't impress me at all. We didn't even use it very much, probably only once or twice. We only used it to season our steaks, and very soon, the pepper one broke. The spring gave out or something, and it just wouldn't work. We went as far as to swap them so that pepper was in the working one. Lo and behold: it broke again. :(

  • Jack, I have always winced before when I watched you use pre-ground pepper out of that giant bin, so I am glad to see you got a grinder. The difference in flavor is amazing, as I am sure you have already discovered.

  • The "Kuick Kut" is actually a very old utensil, They have used these for decades in the south for cutting lard/shortening into flour for pie crust, and cutting dough in biscuit shapes.

  • I can't find #1?

  • @kezzymodo it was called "Christmas Toys for the kitchen" look on my Christmas playlist.

  • can you ship sauces to ireland

  • @johncena20011 no. I am sorry. We don't do international shipping. 2 reasons.

    1. $45 just for postage. That is more than the sauce costs.

    2. they always arrive broken and destroyed.

  • if this is number 2 where's number 1?

  • @radiculousraneem it was called "Christmas Toys for the kitchen" look on my Christmas playlist.

  • I have the quick cut lol I actually love it.

  • sound like porn

  • Kwikkut is like the poor man's Slap Chop lol

  • @Fallout3131 thanks. That seems to be the thing people are saying. I appreciate the warning.

  • You should do back pops with your son. PLEASE!!

  • Make a Big Mac

  • DO MAORE OF THESE THIS IS WHAT I LOVE TO SEE! GADGET REVIEWS!

PLEASE DO A FOOD DEHYDRATOR EPISODE!!!

  • I live in Alabama!

  • @hunterj777 sorry ;P

  • the kwik kut kind of reminds me of an old fashioned slap chop. XD

  • can you do a review on the bake pops?

  • I love Kitchen Gadgets! Thanks for the Video!

  • Oh you should check out the Pampered Chef measure all cup. Its the most used kitchen gadget I own. Its great for baking especially when you need to measure something sticky!

  • @debbic4404 I have one of those. The inner cup doesn't fit snug in the sleeve anymore. I was trying to measure out rice one day. The sleeve slid down and rice went everywhere. You're right though, it did work awesome for stuff like honey, peanut butter and corn syrup. I really didn't like it for measuring liquids, though. It's too hard to see the meniscus through the the translucent cup.

  • The quick cut makes a great biscuit cutter.

  • I'd just like to point out, we use that "quick cut" thing at Panera Bread to cut our bread bowls.

    ~*THE MORE YOU KNOW*~

  • I have that same salt and pepper shaker. I loved it, unfortunately the the mechanism didn't hold up very well to use and broke before I even used all of the contents. I would not suggest it to anyone.

  • @Northwestadventures thanks for the tip. That's good to know.

  • @Northwestadventures I had the same ones too!! broke as well on us!!

  • Hi Jack! I have the knife sharpener and love it. It actually came with my knives made by the same company and they are great knives! Not too expensive but a great quality!

  • hi

  • Cool salt pepper shaker!

  • You just krrkhkhkhkhkhk!

  • Thought the scoop was an ice cream scoop at first but could probably be used for one too. Last one is probably what I liked the most, though found the pie one interesting but never had a problem with over browning the edge.

  • I like the choppy thing and I like the scoop thing. I'll have to keep my eyes open for them. Do more of these shows - they're fun.

  • dude your first tool was a cookie cutter not a chopping tool!

  • @dadddycool No it's what he says it is. Look it up.

  • I got the salt and pepper mill thing before it works great for the first little bit on the pepper but I found after a while it would not grind pepper as well because when you grind it it leaves left over peices of corn in the ginder and found it clogged it up and was had to clean without breaking it.

  • @digitalblossom great warning. other's are saying the same thing.

  • @digitalblossom A standard pepper mill or the same for rock salt will last a lifetime. I keep a stainless steel pepper mill beside the stove at all times :)

  • Seems like biscuit cutters would do the exact same thing as the kwik kut does. Other than that, I really love the salt/pepper dispensers!

  • That salt/pepper grinder thing is on Amazon. It's called Kamenstein Dual Salt Pepper Grinder. It doesn't have good reviews though.

    .

  • I like the salt and pepper pot that may do as a christmas present my parents have a knife sharpener like that.

  • I think the scoop is great. I make peanut butter cookies all the time sure would help out. LOTS

The salt and pepper looks great! Thank You for sharing.

  • That type of knife sharpener you showed is great, I use one like it on most all of my knives, even my fillet knives for fish. It's good for varying grades sharpness - press down hard and you get a rough edge, then go back and lightly press on the knife. Works well. I prefer ceramic knife sharpeners - though. IMO ceramic sharpeners are idiot proof and provide the absolute best sharpness without tearing through too much metal.

  • @umajunkcollector I think mc donald's eggs come in like a pre boiled egg shaped cylindar quite gross looking to be honest that's why I rarely eat mc griddels lol

  • we use the McCormic salt and pepper grinders. They are very nice to have and add that fancy restaurant flare to any meal ;)

  • lots of cooler things on vat19.com

  • quick cut would also be good for like cutting out biscuits or cookies and maybe even hamburger patties

  • i have both them quick cuts i use them as biscuit cuts tho they work awesome

  • That pie cover is awesome; I will get it;

  • Toys in the kitchen sounds like the title for a porno. -.-

  • Some neat stuff! :)

  • If you get that flat round choper, it may also be useful to make round fried eggs to keep the eggs from running all over the place. Me thinks Macky-Deez uses such a device to make their egg McMuffins.

  • O-o

  • salt and pepper guys are very cool

  • KwiK Kut?...you see where im going with this....

  • 3:44 Edward Nygma's Box D;

  • Would have loved to see some of those in (real) action, cool video nonetheless.

  • 2nd!

  • Jack, I've always been interested in cooking, but I'm afraid to pursue it as I feel it is a risky industry. I'm about to go to University, and maybe you can give me some tips.

  • @MrBossFTW start doing recipes at home. learn basic techniques like knife skills, saute, baking, spices, etc. If you are still interested after that then pursue going to your favorite restaurant and watch them and see if you can help them prepare items. Tell them it's a school project. If you live at home be sure to let your parents know your interest. Get them involved if you can. They might support you more than you know. Keep me posted on how it goes. Start with 1 recipe.

  • @jakatak69 haha when I told my mom I wanted to be a chef when I was like 16 she slapped me in the face and told me to stop being stupid, unless you're Gordon Ramsey you'll never be rich and working in a restaurant is more hectic and crazy than making ramen noodles in your kitchen. Cooking is a great hobby and should be mroe "fun" than "work" or rather, do it because you enjoy it, not because you want to get paid. Man I forgot what we were talking about

  • @MrBossFTW It depends what you want to do at University in some instances it may be better going to work for a chef as there may be more jobs that are better paid than you can get with a degree. I would advise you to check on the employability of the people who graduate find out what percentage get jobs 6 months after graduating and what sort of jobs are they doing some courses boast high employment but the may be waiting tables after graduating.

  • @MrBossFTW One more thing to add to what Jack said - if you're going to a university, no matter what your major is, having cooking skills is a major bonus when dating/socializing.

  • I never see anyone using a pastry knife. You pretty much have to have one for making pie crust. You might be able to use a food processor or something. It's one of those things I keep in the hard to reach cupboard because I only use it once a year or so.
