Just learned of his death. I remember him from when I was just a young boy. I remember his eyes mainly. Sorry he went so young. He was supposed to get the midnight cowboy part that Jon Voigt got but he had a contract that he could not get out of. I'm sure his carreer would have skyrocketed if that part was given to him. You could literally see his soul through his eyes. R.I.P.
Hmmmm.....I wonder if the writers for the film "Arachnophobia" used this scene for their film.....Jeff Bridges describes exactly this same scene except with a spider crawling on him as an infant (instead of a cat).
Saw this twice in the cinema and on TV years ago. Can't get it on DVD.Why Universal Why? I wanna see that wheelchair short-circuit and fly down a steep street in S.F. again.
This is what I consider a 60s "classic." I was too young to really understand much of the movie when I saw it on TV, but there were some scenes that were very visceral to me. Would love to see it again!
@gladys8it There's a gorgeous actor working in Hollywood right now named Greg Michael and it just hit me who he reminds me of...Michael Sarrazin (but with lighter features)!! Maybe it's the eyes, the lips, and the chin that does it? :)
You look around youtube, one menory leads to another. I came here to see if this movie had clips. Very sad to hear of this mans death.

I totally remember this movie; Michael Sarrazin was another actor I had a crush on when I was a wee bit of a little girl. =)

I thought the film was pretty lame but Gayle Hunnicutt was as sexy as a woman could be.

Did he die? After "For Pete's Sake" (which is actually a good flick, it was universally panned), he disappeared.
