Whatever has happened, everything happens for a reason, if we like it or not doesn't even have an influence on faith's decisions, there's no point in figuring out what happened, cause it won't bring her back, as much as we want to, there's no such thing as turning back the hands of time, all that's left for us to do, is honor her and respect her, and I don't think Divya herself would want us to spend our entire lives figuring out what happened, we just have to remember her at her best moments

@faizet2 Tu Paagal Premi Awara - Shola Aur Shabnam. Its a really nice song and Divya looks very adorble. Just check it out. I dont know about any movie but I ( and quite a few other people ) think SRK's Om Shanti Om has something to do with Divya's lifestory.

@faizet2 I dont think the scene from Baazigar refers to Divya's death, however many people think that and even I myself am reminded of that when I see Shilpa falling off the building. Maya Memsaab though, has nothing to do with Divya in my opinion. Maya's strange moods and character are not a resemblance at all. Its only magazines who tried to convince people Divya was unstable, with strange mood swings.
@Unknown090981999 But there is a scene in Maya Memsaab where Maya goes to commit suicide by jumping off her building (an uncanny resemblance 2 Divya's death even though she was alive when it was being filmed), after Rudra Pratab Singh (played by Raj Babbar) dumps her. Baazigar was still being shot when she died, so Seema Chopra's (portrayed by Shilpa Shetty) death by falling of a high-story building is probably an uncanny coincidence & resemblance 2 Divya's death.
@faizet2 They said she was a maneater aswell and was supossed to have a romance with almost every male co-star. I see no reason to believe this all was true, so I dont believe she had those so called mood swings either. Also Maya was a much older woman. If they wanted the character to look like Divya they would have took a younger girl. I heard that the movie took a long time to release b/c of the sex scene, it was actually being filmed before SRK appeared in Deewana.

Personally, I think there are no movies ( yet ) that have a character that strongly resemblances Divya. I just think OSO was a tribute to her by SRK.

I just know that during the time there was some sort of '' Divya hysteria '' and magazines were crazy writing on her and most of what they wrote was gossip and rumours. Thats what they do. They must create some sensation to make people buy the articles. They write things which arent true about other artists too, I personally see no reason to believe those things cause they dont even make sense to me.

@faizet2 Kirti Kumar was eager to sign Divya for Radha Ka Sangam opposite Govinda. He gave interviews on how he had found his perfect Radha after scouring whole of India for her. And then before the first shot was taken, Divya "Radha" Bharti was out of the film after being groomed for two years and replaced by Juhi Chawla. The reasons each side gave for the fall-out were different. Various Magazines wrote different things behind dropped out.
@faizet2 Some said "Kirti became over-possessive about her", others said "Lawrence D'souza, who was to direct the film, left the project. Then Kirti decided to take over the film. Being new to direction, he had to drop Divya because he felt he could not handle a newcomer", I also heard Kirti was just too jealous of Govinda and couldnt handle it no more. Now see who's the instable one in the story. For sure NOT Divya. She just did her work.
@faizet2 Yes, after being thrown out of RKS, the rejection did have an effect on 15-year old Divya but what else could you expect? Never heard of the slashed wrists though. She said she had tried so hard but she fell on her face. She had to re-struggle again, on her own strenght. WOW! This is soooooo incredibly sad! I just watched Deewana so I wanted to read about it and found out that this heroine died at the tender age of 19. I can't believe no one really knows how she fell. Incredible mystery. Is it really true that she was on drugs!? I hope not!

Whatever has happened, everything happens for a reason, if we like it or not doesn't even have an influence on faith's decisions, there's no point in figuring out what happened, cause it won't bring her back, as much as we want to, there's no such thing as turning back the hands of time, all that's left for us to do, is honor her and respect her, and I don't think Divya herself would want us to spend our entire lives figuring out what happened, we just have to remember her at her best moments

@faizet2 I dont think the scene from Baazigar refers to Divya's death, however many people think that and even I myself am reminded of that when I see Shilpa falling off the building. Maya Memsaab though, has nothing to do with Divya in my opinion. Maya's strange moods and character are not a resemblance at all. Its only magazines who tried to convince people Divya was unstable, with strange mood swings.

@Unknown090981999 But there is a scene in Maya Memsaab where Maya goes to commit suicide by jumping off her building (an uncanny resemblance 2 Divya's death even though she was alive when it was being filmed), after Rudra Pratab Singh (played by Raj Babbar) dumps her. Baazigar was still being shot when she died, so Seema Chopra's (portrayed by Shilpa Shetty) death by falling of a high-story building is probably an uncanny coincidence & resemblance 2 Divya's death.

I see no reason to believe this all was true, so I dont believe she had those so called mood swings either. Also Maya was a much older woman. If they wanted the character to look like Divya they would have took a younger girl. I heard that the movie took a long time to release b/c of the sex scene, it was actually being filmed before SRK appeared in Deewana.

I just know that during the time there was some sort of '' Divya hysteria '' and magazines were crazy writing on her and most of what they wrote was gossip and rumours. Thats what they do. @faizet2 Kirti Kumar was eager to sign Divya for Radha Ka Sangam opposite Govinda. He gave interviews on how he had found his perfect Radha after scouring whole of India for her. And then before the first shot was taken, Divya "Radha" Bharti was out of the film after being groomed for two years and replaced by Juhi Chawla. The reasons each side gave for the fall-out were different. Various Magazines wrote different things behind dropped out.

She said she had tried so hard but she fell on her face. She had to re-struggle again, on her own strenght. We don't know (& I don't think we ever will) what state of mind Divya was in on the night of her death. Only those closest 2 her might have an idea. It's widely known in the Bollywood industry that Divya had a lot of problems with family & colleagues. Divya visited a psychiatrist & was on anti-depressants @ the time of her death.

She had a special place in thousands of peoples hearts. She left this world and left a big empty place in our hearts. Even today 17 years later, after her sudden death, grief is as deep as it was then.

Really sad that Divya lost her life early. She was supposed to do Mohra and Laadla. She and sharukh were a hit pair. If she was alive she would have done Baazigar and DDLJ. and my god she would have done it stunnigly well and would have gone to claim many heights. But sad..
In a way her demise helped Madhuri, Kajol, Raveena etc to get movies and establish in Bollywood. There are stars and there are superstars. Divya you were a real superstar..
