you dont know anything about world of warcraft. -_- i dont know if you are talking about another game but there is no extreme railer super cannon in wow. its a MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game) where you kill monsters, level up and fight with other people.
Yeah I am sure it is world of warcraft, where you have humans fighting the orcs that board the planet on the starship Azeroth. You have to defeat all the orcs and their army of murlocs in order to save the planet. It's a fun game, but on level 12 you will want to make sure you grab all the health boost packs you can, and try not to waste your Iceshock cannon. That helped me beat it in a day.
every other fucking MMO. atleast AoC brings something new to the table. OH and for those of you who think that WoW was the breakout MMORPG your a fucking moron because WoW just took everything from every past MMO and made it better.
I dunno about better. I love the art design, and how accessable it is to everyone. But I think it fails compared to a game like Guild Wars which doesn't have locked attributes or skills. Even Hellgate London holds my interest more than WoW. Just oppinion though, I guess.

The first mmo i played was lineage,quite interesting game,but after this i wanted something bigger,so i started playing wow,i started playin 2 months before AQ40 opening,now after 3 years of hardcore gaming i say that wow SUX,i wish i would simply stay on Lineage instead of playing wow,it was cool and exciting until TBC ruined EVERYTHING on WoW.
This is the most dreadfully linear and boring game I've ever played. I tried and tried and TRIED to like it, but its total crap. Its pretty... really pretty... but not fun in any sense at all. Another failure from Funcom.
Rogues stun lock and that is boring and hunters are ok, BUT Conan is just amazing end of story. WoW doesn't take much skill st all and it is so boring...look at me I can jump through someone....
Fun game mechanics doesen't nessecary have to be realistic. WoW has over 10mil surscribers players, the game mechanics are very well thought through, and blizzard makes sure classes are balanced to keep everyone happy.
I doubt AoC take much skill, from what I've learned(haven't played the beta though) the meele class seems like a rather dull hacknslash class with different slash combos that can trigger special abilities,
also healer class can only heal people in a cone in front of them, wth
Partially untrue, which is why you should do some more reading on the game, one specific class functions a heal like that, maybe two. Conquerer's and Bear Shamans have different functioning heals. I don't quite see how the game could be a "dull hack and slash" compared to WoW where you quite literally use the same skill over and over. Unless you're one of those misguided people who thinks using every ability you can when it's up is good damage. Like hunters that use aimed shot.

I agree with Hesitation. WoW WAS a great game, BUT they kept making it easier and easier until its gotten to the point where its not fun anymore IN MY OPINION. PvP is too easy cuz ya dont have to do anything and you still get tokens to get good gear. You shouldnt be rewarded for being an idiot and not do anything. It's interesting people bring up WoW when looking at this game, especially using the phrase "look like shit" considering this game is the most graphically advanced MMO (supporting both DX9 and DX10) to date, with the most innovative combat system spliced into a dark morbid atmosphere that can in no way fail the skill-minded playerbase.
The problem with WoW is that it's simple. It's way too simple. The game requires no skill whatsoever, most notably the raiding aspect of it (I've gone the lengths to prove a quadriplegic could still participate effectively in end-game content). The game revolves around simple DPS-Stop DPS-move-stop moving mechanics and is entirely trivialized by Mods and custom macro's. Blizzard killed their own game by consistently dumbing it down. Sweet, I can spend 4 hours a night pushing my 4 button.
And WAR? I tried my best to see the good in that game, but with terrible graphic models, animations, rigid gameplay, Rock-Paper-Scissors mentality, I can't see it going anywhere good (not to mention I've never laughed so hard watching a video of what's supposed to be a hardcore PVP MMO)
From your lack of understanding, I'm going to assume you're one of those that just recently started playing WoW. You undoubtedly never saw Ragnaros when he was a hard boss. That feeling of grandiose has faded every day since the Burning Crusade, raid content has diminished in value and in the feeling of accomplishment it once gave. It's not a game I'd deem requiring skill, no, not after this long of playing it.
Actually I have a 70 Prot warrior, we just got attuned for illi mthis week, so we'll be raiding him soon, try not commenting when you don't know someone.
Oh man, you're a tank. That's -real- difficult. I recall when someone told me it was hard to tank, so I made a warrior, hit 60, within the first week was promoted to main-tank and we cleared MC in blues/greens. The same happened with the rest of WoW post-bc. It's just not a game that takes skill or thought. I'm shocked that as a tank you'd have the nerve to try and claim that WoW is difficult when tanking is hands down the most easy job in the game.
Everyone knows that priest is the easiest job in the game. As a druid (pre moonkin) i was considered 'good' for keeping ppl alive and innervating the priests, more often then not i was watching the tv at the time, and spamming the '1' key
Onyxia Scale Cloak, bracers from the fire elemental boss in BRD, helmet off dragon in UBRS, etc. I'm surprised at how little you know about raiding =/. Most resistance gear isn't epic in a suit of it. Not to mention, we took advantage of the high FR buff off the mobs in BRS. Only needed 140 of our own resists, and thats not hard. And yes, clearly we didn't clear it with full blues/greens, people got upgrades with the bosses we downed, I was lucky enough to get 5/8 might our first run through.

WoW pvp is nothing but having the right class combinations and having better gear. Aside from that and not having downs syndrome and you can get a 2k rating. The arena system is a joke in terms of pvp.

Only answer here can be AoC,have old guild m8's who have played both on beta and to be honest i didnt get good feedback from them on Warhammer which is a surprise as Mythic is the team involved and i loved DAoC.
Agree with moush31 at making this an 18cert to keep the kids away as wow was great fun but got very tedious due to the average age of its players being very young and lacking the maturity to play seriously...my opinion only here.

Yes. Same game only different platform. Like Shadowrun, console and computer on the same server, which is actually a good thing cause menus will be a lot easier to use cause they need to be fast on the controller. i think im gonna use Xbox 360 controller on this game if i can get the adapter because it need really fast reflexes. And they get more players on the servers which is a good thing too.

And they have upgraded it very much since then I know I am in the beta, and the game is just amazing, you cant even compare it to warhammer online or WoW and all that, this game is nothing like a ripoff like warhammer online is, warhammer online is like a cheap knockoff of WoW, but Funcom has been as original as possible, the fighting system is completely different and it's all new and exciting

10 million+ accounts is a loaded statement. When they say that, they don't mean 10 million active subscribers, they mean 10 million accounts that are paid for. About 2 million of those people aren't actively playing. That leaves us with 8 million. 4 million of those have been proven to be chinese gold farmers, 2 million are in the Europe and 2 million are in America.
My point is that WoW is yet another carbon copy target/fire MMO that suckered in a few million people new to MMO's.
Umm... 10 million is the number of active subscribers, the ones who buy more gametime every month. Of course there are millions of more accounts; some has 2nd account, some has stopped playing, tons of them has been banned etc.

This is the most dreadfully linear and boring game I've ever played. I tried and tried and TRIED to like it, but its total crap. Its pretty... really pretty... but not fun in any sense at all. Another failure from Funcom.

Rogues stun lock and that is boring and hunters are ok, BUT Conan is just amazing end of story. WoW doesn't take much skill st all and it is so boring...look at me I can jump through someone....

Fun game mechanics doesen't nessecary have to be realistic. WoW has over 10mil surscribers players, the game mechanics are very well thought through, and blizzard makes sure classes are balanced to keep everyone happy.
I doubt AoC take much skill, from what I've learned(haven't played the beta though) the meele class seems like a rather dull hacknslash class with different slash combos that can trigger special abilities,
also healer class can only heal people in a cone in front of them, wth

Partially untrue, which is why you should do some more reading on the game, one specific class functions a heal like that, maybe two. Conquerer's and Bear Shamans have different functioning heals. I don't quite see how the game could be a "dull hack and slash" compared to WoW where you quite literally use the same skill over and over. Unless you're one of those misguided people who thinks using every ability you can when it's up is good damage. Like hunters that use aimed shot.

hi hi.. due to xp limit i have ot stay with 3 gigstill i get another computer or have a friend with vista... anyway.. i got a new graphics card since i couldn't play frontlines as well.. i got one close to the recommended card... and frontlines have more heavy setting requirements than conan so i'm hoping i'm set... thanks for help guys..

I agree with Hesitation. WoW WAS a great game, BUT they kept making it easier and easier until its gotten to the point where its not fun anymore IN MY OPINION. PvP is too easy cuz ya dont have to do anything and you still get tokens to get good gear. You shouldnt be rewarded for being an idiot and not do anything. The problem with WoW is that it's simple. It's way too simple. The game requires no skill whatsoever, most notably the raiding aspect of it (I've gone the lengths to prove a quadriplegic could still participate effectively in end-game content). The game revolves around simple DPS-Stop DPS-move-stop moving mechanics and is entirely trivialized by Mods and custom macro's. Blizzard killed their own game by consistently dumbing it down. Sweet, I can spend 4 hours a night pushing my 4 button.

From your lack of understanding, I'm going to assume you're one of those that just recently started playing WoW. You undoubtedly never saw Ragnaros when he was a hard boss. That feeling of grandiose has faded every day since the Burning Crusade, raid content has diminished in value and in the feeling of accomplishment it once gave. It's not a game I'd deem requiring skill, no, not after this long of playing it.

Oh man, you're a tank. That's -real- difficult. I recall when someone told me it was hard to tank, so I made a warrior, hit 60, within the first week was promoted to main-tank and we cleared MC in blues/greens. The same happened with the rest of WoW post-bc. It's just not a game that takes skill or thought. I'm shocked that as a tank you'd have the nerve to try and claim that WoW is difficult when tanking is hands down the most easy job in the game.

Onyxia Scale Cloak, bracers from the fire elemental boss in BRD, helmet off dragon in UBRS, etc. I'm surprised at how little you know about raiding =/. Most resistance gear isn't epic in a suit of it. Not to mention, we took advantage of the high FR buff off the mobs in BRS. Only needed 140 of our own resists, and thats not hard. And yes, clearly we didn't clear it with full blues/greens, people got upgrades with the bosses we downed, I was lucky enough to get 5/8 might our first run through.

Only answer here can be AoC,have old guild m8's who have played both on beta and to be honest i didnt get good feedback from them on Warhammer which is a surprise as Mythic is the team involved and i loved DAoC.
Agree with moush31 at making this an 18cert to keep the kids away as wow was great fun but got very tedious due to the average age of its players being very young and lacking the maturity to play seriously...my opinion only here.

PS. Only reason why from TIlt was the price of collector. in GameStop it was like 75€ and in Tilt it was 59€ including postal fees.

Yes. Same game only different platform. Like Shadowrun, console and computer on the same server, which is actually a good thing cause menus will be a lot easier to use cause they need to be fast on the controller. i think im gonna use Xbox 360 controller on this game if i can get the adapter because it need really fast reflexes. And they get more players on the servers which is a good thing too.

This movie is 2 years old! And the game looks GREAT! And they have upgraded it very much since then I know I am in the beta, and the game is just amazing, you cant even compare it to warhammer online or WoW and all that, this game is nothing like a ripoff like warhammer online is, warhammer online is like a cheap knockoff of WoW, but Funcom has been as original as possible, the fighting system is completely different and it's all new and exciting

yeah wow has 10+ million accounts, and its still a great game, and ive always liked it, i especially dislike the people who say its got sucky graphics.. its not sucky graphics.. they fit the game.. they gave it the right atmosphere.. nevertheless i hope age of conan is going to be a good replacement for me.. really looking forward to the excellent gameplay(as far as i can see.. the good graphics are also a nice addition :D

10 million+ accounts is a loaded statement. When they say that, they don't mean 10 million active subscribers, they mean 10 million accounts that are paid for. About 2 million of those people aren't actively playing. That leaves us with 8 million. 4 million of those have been proven to be chinese gold farmers, 2 million are in the Europe and 2 million are in America.
My point is that WoW is yet another carbon copy target/fire MMO that suckered in a few million people new to MMO's.
