but if you have money for fly tying tools, and cable tv, as well as a drill.....i would think 40-50 bucks for a vice wouldn't be unreasonable, but i on the other hand don't have a vice but i want to tye a fly so i'm gonna use my drill lol thanks for the idea
that was pretty cool vid. I like the use of the drill. I have a buddy who doesn't have a vice yet that is using the tip of an exacto knife. (the part that holds the blade)
as far as I am concern I just got a new trick about tying flies... if you don't have a vice or forgot it.. you can also use a drill. and about the comments I have been reading about this clip.. I have to say that everyone is an expert exept for the guy who is doing it. bottom line if you are leaving a neg comment back it up with something better, if not shut the hell up.....

you know i just thought of the one very good side of using a drill for a vice...you can wrap hackle 10x's faster then with a manual rotary vice
