  • Does anyone know the name of these tunes?

  • The great band! The soul of Irish and Scottish music!

  • Good to see this its years since I saw them must be the mid 70's.

All the music I have of theirs is on LP's, 1 by the group; 1 with Cathal & Robin Morton of Irish music & 1 featuring Aly Bain of Shetland fiddle music

  • That is indeed, Christy O'Leary on pipes. He was with the Boys of the Lough from the Mid 80's into the 1990's.

  • A top band at the top of their game. Doesn't get much better than this

  • In between Cathal McConnel on flute and Dave Richardson on mandolin. I think it is Christy O'Leary, playing the uillean pipes?

  • where are the bagpipes?

  • Irish pipes are called uillean pipes - see them on the far right of the stage.
