did you ever get to the bottom of what was causing this? mine does it too! changing the stop lamp switch under the brake pedal fixed it for a while but now the fault has come back. it has been remapped too. gaz
did you do the remap for your car? or have you been driven your car for a very long time? sometimes if the car is too tired, or you blow your engine too heavy, it may go to the safe mode.
this happened today to me and I got really pissed...my hopes rely on changing the 8 year old f****d up battery...
