  • Saw it at Sadler's Wells last Friday - an unforgettable performance. Fabulous choreography, fabulous dancer - and wonderful light effects. So glad to be able to see it again here. Thank you!

  • It made me cry in the theatre this evening and I am crying again watching at home. Very beautiful and rather mysterious. What a dancer!

  • sometimes it looks like he's skating...

    very nice! thank you!

  • Just saw Daniel performing this once more tonight at Sadlers Wells, 3rd time for me since its start there 'In the Spirit of Dhiagelev'

What was amazing was Michael Hulls lighting at the final moment when Daniels whirling arms and body seem to fade in and out of existence, as if bits of him were flying off at speed', how do you do that!!! A kind of strobe? but his arms took on this patchy textile appearance when they caught the light and they seemed to dissolve out...like this.....ss.....s......

  • @PeterrAre Sounds a striking effect

  • wonderful, beleza

  • Excelente!

  • Equisite in every aspect...

Have booked tickets for the new adaptation of Afterlight which will be showing at the Sadlers Wells in sept 2010. Really looking forward to it!

Thank you so much for sharing this video.

  • @yogamoda From what others have posted being there should be a great occasion. Enjoy it!

  • I loved this when i saw it.I t took me away to I don't know where.I wished I could pick it up and put it in my pocket and get it out and watch it when I wanted.Michael Hulls is brilliant. The light in the pieces, all I have seen, makes the the space into a complete other world and transcends the dance. Thanks .Please do more and more.

  • quite thoughtful - thank you for posting this... but not quite thoughtful enough - you forgot to mention my biggest collaborator, the lighting designer, Michael Hulls :-(

    could you amend?

  • Consider it done -

the credits on this programme rolled over the 3 sections and I was perhaps stingy in what I took from the lists!

  • @quitethoughtful thank you!

  • Truly beautiful! Sensitive, dynamical, emotional, very touching!

  • so beautiful.
