electric...its hard to get that much control with a diesel, gas or nitrous... too jumpy especially with something that would weigh as little as that thing does... if it were diesel or gas he would been able to power through when he got stuck the first time... the electric motor didnt have the torque to keep it moving...

Nitro is bad for crawling, not enough air to cool it. Electric is a better choice. So it's not "better rcs have engines", they're for different use.

first off, eather get better motors that have more torque and RPM's (i think thats how electric motors are rated) more/stronger batt's, or just put in a engine.

higher rpm has less torque with any motor gas or electric and you need torque not speed when rock crawling secondly electric is much easier to manage when doing rc rock crawling its very hard to tune a nitro engine for rock crawling let alone gearing the transmission

Ever thought about mounting your ProLines on skinnier rims? It would at better sidewall grip, reduce fold over, and round out the flat ProLines and so on. It would also prevent rim rubbing. RPM makes wider and skinnier 2.2 rims.
