I do applaud the addition of an openly gay character... you'd think official Trek had gone there by now, since they all claim to 'go where no one's gone before'... Kind of odd, how there seem to be no homos in the 24th century - not on any world...

No, they don't? It's worse than the original series - times ten! I sure as hell wouldnt pay a single dollar for any of it. Not even New Voyages.
Shitty acting, poor fan-fic writing and home-made CGI effects thrown together still make crap!
It just doesnt make sense to spend all the time and energy and ressources, to make unwatchable shit.
The only ones worth wasting time on, are the episodes of New Voyages with the real actors, and Exeter's 2nd episode... IMFO, live with it.
