I loved this song (and still love it) with other three or four (seven or eight?) here in Italy.

I used to play this song over and over on my radio show "Lunchpail" on WBAI=FM New York City (from 1969-2000!) In fact, we made 15=20" or more tape loops of the phrase, "And I bid goodnight, goodnight, goodnight," and the ending, "May the long time sun shine upon you" I think my old buddy at midnight Bob Fass may have played these phrases straight for about

@doorman292 I have to struggle to keep from seeing all sorts of stuff, all around me and even when I close my eyes and I am not stoned.LOL I think what we are talking about here are called optical illusions. We all see them stoned or not but we don't always see the same things.

Music and acid were not a good mix to me. If the acid was good then voices of any kind became garbled and the continual rush would fill your head with what sounded like a helicopter hovering overhead while the distorted things around you blinked on and off to the flashing of a strobe light that didn't exist.

Sure00shot.Your comment reminds me of christmass 1991,when we(the same female friend,me and a few others were living in the west end,No christmass dinner that year-the only thing edible in the house was quater of a sheet of acid(about twenty trips-can't really remember)So thats what we had for dinner,small but big and it was a merry christmass!i can remember Hawkwind being played alot that night.

I remember back in 1990 a female friend andme dancing to this in the early hours of an October morning in a field somewhere near wells in somerset,the previous day we had been picking and eating(aswe picked) mushrooms nearby,it was a really beautifull thirtysix or so hours,any of you who've done mushrooms will be able to relate to what an amazing,cosmic,far out and insperatiional time we had.
