This is the problem with the Swedish voting nowadays: you have to call in and vote several times. Which ends up with that only the seniors vote cause the young can't be arsed. And the jury at SVT makes up their mind no matter how the people vote. And this is the result. A young girl getting her dreams smashed and goes down in Swedish history as the first one in 50 years that doesn't make it to the finals. Poor girl. I feel for her:(

Vi skulle ha gått vidare om vi var med i den 1 semifinalen för anledningen varför så många dåliga gick vidare var för att det fanns sämre. I den 2 semifinalen så dök alla storfavoriter upp och det var därför vi inte gick vidare. Sen blir det bara värre när man fick reda på att vi hade slutat på en 11 plats med endast 5 poäng efter Cypern som tog den 10 finalplatsen. Vi i Sverige gav 6 poäng till Cypern,om vi hade gett 0 poäng till Cypern så hade vi gått vidare vi sabbade för oss själva i år.

We had many better songs in our finals, in which 32 qualifiers were heard. In fact our jury had picked another winner and this was only second, but then our idiot televoters managed to pick another song than the one the jury groups had picked and since the televoters get the most points by far they sent this.

In fact Swedish songwriters wrote some of the other countries songs and they did better every year

Here's an example for you. The Latvian song Pirates of the sea was written by a Swedish song writer. That one was sent to the Swedish pre-qualifying jury but was deemed unworthy, so the song writer used it in the Latvian finals instead. Ironincally enough the Swedish winner that year placed 21'st and the Latvian 12'th. Btw Azerbajdzjan placed 3'rd last year and that song was written by Swedish song writers.

We have the talent to write winner songs but always send the wrong songs.

This brilliant song not making the finals just tells me that eurovision has got nothing to do with songwriting. The sooner they change the rules in favour of THE SONG rather than voting for your neigbour the better!

Don't let the public decide at all. Leave it to pro songwriters from each country to decide and have an... as voted by the public winner announced before the final votes from professional songwriters get counted to please the tv voters. That way THE BEST SONG wins everytime.

The swedish people feel really bad right now. Our own contest here in sweden is very popular but the last years it's been nagging to know that we won't make it in eurovision. Every year there's all this talk about what to do about it, but it's just getting worse. I HAVE TO SAY THIS HAS NOT REALLY STUCK OUT TO ME THAT MUCH UNTILL SHE JUST PERFORMED IN THE SEMI & OMG SHE WAS EXCELLENT SHE DERSEVRED TO GO THROW SHE WAS THE SECOND BEST IN THE SECOND SEMI AFTER SAFURA, I VOTED FOR HER TWICE, VERY GOOD SINGER
