@thecochannel No it's not. You must have had one piece of shit for a controller. Most likely bought as a pre used controller as well. The grips are good on the thumbsticks because they go in inside of out, the controller is a better size for people to hold, and the triggers and bumpers are easier to access. Not to mention that the Ps3 controller has sensitivity issues where if you move your thumbstick it doesn't happen for about 0.5 seconds. ( Makes a difference trust me... ).
Having a PS3 controller is cool, it's comfortable. but having a third party PS3 controller sucks ASS ! My 3rd party controller's analogs are too tight, I can't turn easily on FPSes without screwing my aim up. =/
I find that the ps3 controller handles better as far as fast movement.. like standing up on a bike to pedal faster.. you can hold the controller with your finger and do some serious fast paced button mashing.. the 360 has that bulky ass battery insert poking out.. I think the problem is that people who are used to the xbox controllers will have problems adjusting to the ps3. I'm a long time xbox player and I've owned a PS3 for a few months now (never owned a 360 just play the roommates) and I'm better with the dualshock 3 than the xbox360 controller. That's just me. But remember the dualshock design is 15 years old and has not evolved a lot in comparison to the 360 pad, which was based on the dreamcast controller originally.
i have both the 360 and ps3 and i agree. The ps3 doesn't even use the trigger for many shooting games and when you do, it doesn't feel good. Racing games are bettter on the ps3 controller though.

Problem with the xbox360 controller is the left analogue is half way up the controller. Even if you like Xbox360 you've got to admit that was a terrible idea. It was done just to make it fresh and not for ergonomic purposes. With PS3 controller they kept it similar to PS2 controller because it worked! Don't fix what isn't broke.

@Abfallbeseitiger everythign u just said is wrong. the xbox controller really sucks in all ways. dpad sucks anmd steers in all kinds of directions. the buttons are made from soft rubber wich means less controll. the analog sticks are not sensitive at all, the triggers are placed in strange positions and the shape of the buttons are retarded, takes to much force to push in and are not as sensitive as on ps3. the xbox controller is just to big and chunky and only fanboys and kids thinks its good

Dude... my xbox recently red ringed and im looking to convert to PS3
if your a frequent Xboxer and you go play on a PS3 you will notice that the PS3 controllers realy do suck... they are too small and the annolog sticks are horrible... been playing MW2 recently.. and not braggins but i usualy go 30/10 every game k/d
i went to my friends house played MW2 on his PS3 i could barely break even, not to mension that my hands cramped up after an hour.
if this think works id be happy to buy it.

I'd rather use the Dualshock 3, because its the best rechargeable controller. The 360 rechargeable batteries are garbage. I only used the battery 4 a little over a month and the son of a bitch is fucking dead.

Problem with the xbox360 controller is the left analogue is half way up the controller. Even if you like Xbox360 you've got to admit that was a terrible idea. It was done just to make it fresh and not for ergonomic purposes. With PS3 controller they kept it similar to PS2 controller because it worked! Don't fix what isn't broke.
