i´ll never take a htc again ! everything runs choppy as shit; they actually devided the app drawer in sections so you don´t see the choppynes -.-', the aluminium casing gets dents if it falls down even from the lowest hights, you have to wait ages for updates, htc sense.com doesn´t work and it is heavy like a stone. the only point it gets is for the cool widgets and sense ui (wich may be the reason for the overall choppynes).

My husband has a Sensation, and I have an S2. The Sensation is slow, so much that he replaced the launcher to a lightweight one, goodbye to those nice widgets. And it still lags! The speakers have lower volume and the bass not as good. The phone kept crashing on him on a near daily basis , and rebooting takes minutes. Mine has crashed maybe once or twice ever. Needless to say, he bought a new phone after barely 6 months, but I'm keeping mine. In our case, S2 clearly won.

with android phones its really just about the specs, the amount of customization you can do pretty much means you can make the ui into whatever you want, eg. when you showed the home screen between these two my samsung galaxy s2 has the same home screen as the one you show but i found an app that allows me to make it just like the sensation. so you cant really count the sensation as having an advantage here because all you need to do is find apps for the s2.

The Samsung does have a faster processer and amoled screen but the sensation has a higher resolution screen and has better widgets. It really about personal preference. Even at the end of this video some people can still be confused between the two because they are such great phones.

@webmanification lol the resolution difference is not even visible in real world. even with the ip4. and those widgets youre talkin about its all available in the market, even htcs lock screen. the first time i held my sgs2 i thought the batt wasnt there. its a big phone and i cant believe it's that light. it doesnt feel cheap unless youre a brainwashed apple fan. ive been there, readin all the reviews/comparison tryin to pick one of these and ended up landin on sgs2, its a better phone.

@bambebom HTC sensation is made from Aluminum construction with plastic plates to be honest with you.

My friend's samsung galaxy s2 feels very light and all around plastic feel.

It comes to personal preference, whether they want a super light phone with more powerful features or a more solid feeling phone with no so solid hardware. TBH, 1.5GHz snapdragon chip cannot provide better clock to clock performance to 1.2GHz exynos :P Still thinking about which phone to get :)

@bambebom i don't own any of those, i used them some times, and to tell u the truth sensation actually feels more "expencive" when using it. in terms of build quality (i also dont like all the plastic feel of S2) and in terms of UI. the S2 UI looks like it is either a post-production device, or a much cheaper device compared to the sense 3.

and for me, that counts much more than a slightly faster (in terms of milliseconds) browsing experience

Both are great phones, I have the Sensation, and it has 2 flaws when comparing to the GSII, the screen is not even LED, and the battery run time is weak. Put a superamoled and a 2500mha battery on the sensation, and GSII can say bye bye eheh
