  • 8:23 Paxman got something wrong: he said Hunter S. Thompson's book of adventures in Las Vegas was called Fear and Loathing in Los Angeles, when actually it's F. and L. in Las Vegas. Probs a slip of the tongue, but still it's nice to catch Paxman out on something!

  • If I'm right in thinking this was shown on 11 October 1999, in what was the last series of UC to feature the blue, turquoise and lavender coloured set that had been in use since the show's relaunch in 1994.
