the key of this move, is to keep the thumb finger as much as possible, so when you start spinning the card with your index balanced on your middle finger, you release the thumb, and that´s the key, i tried so much

The rest we can assume by listening very, very closely. At moments in the video we can hear heavy breathing and remnants of a lisp. The tone of his voice also adds to his overall character which, in combination with his obsession with card tricks and living in the Midwest, as an early stage mouth breather. Take that as you will.
