  • THE BEST LINE WAS BRUNELLE,SANDOVAL,VINCENT AND AZAGTHOTH, amazing band :-)

  • @davevrbic1 : " De gustibus non disputatum" :)

  • Easily the best MA line up

  • The best line up ever!!!

    Tucker,Azagtoth,Rutan,Sandoval....epic!

  • Fuck, I love watching Pete drum.

  • Tucker,Rutan,Azagtoth,Sandoval -soundcheck ,i hear some Summoning Redemption and World of Shit-promised land riffage,

    nice upload.

  • Inferno @ 0:19

  • Love Steve Tucker era MA.

  • where is pete !

  • That was a fuckin tripped out solo....

  • probably one of the best solos i've ever heard

  • Summoning Redemption ftw .....

  • morbid angel are the best death metal band in the world. if you disagree you're a premature baby

  • lol at the misinformed. eric wrote all his own solos.

  • Eric Wrote God of the forsaken with Steve.

  • Domination is regarded as the worst Morbid Angel release. The only songs worth a damn on the entire album: Where The Slime Live, Domination, and Dawn of The Angry were all written by Trey. On GTA, Eric wrote one solo, one instrumental, and one song, which were all tedious compared to the rest of the album.

  • Sorry to burst your bubble kids, but Eric has never accomplished anything phenomenal with Morbid Angel. The songs and instrumentals Eric wrote while in Morbid Angel, are simply mediocre. Trey is the heart and soul of M.A. The truth is, Eric was really just another guitar player, playing riffs and solos that Trey himself wrote.

  • Nope. Eric wrote songs like This Means War, God Of The Forsaken ... and did all solos and riffs by himself.

  • I ♥ Erik.

  • the bass drums sound fucking brutal as fucking fuck. yes i meant to say that

  • honestly i love the albums with David. Blessed are the Sick is by far my fav Morbid Angel album, but i wish Tucker was still in the band. that way i would be able to see them play songs from their whole discography. and i dont really like how Vincent sounds these days.

  • The camera should stay on pete through the whole jam part of the video.

  • Summoning Redemption Bad ass song kick ass solo from Trey

  • formalus is the best in my opinion

  • i disagree. if you want to argue about the sloppiest sounding album they did, id go with covenant. and that doesnt even come close to making it a bad album. sometimes a dirty rough sound sets the right mood for certain bands. besides its all about the songwriting and i think formulas has the best songs.

  • I dont really like formulas either, but invocation is one of the most badass MA songs though... btw trey's solo in summoning redemption is awesome here!

  • who care's about the sloppiest album that they make, they still kick ass \m/

  • same here...so much feeling in fftf and gta

  • David Vincent rules....however, some of the best music ever created was with Steve Tucker, which was awesome on vocals for MA. I really would like to see Vincent sing lots off Gateways!

  • BULLSHIT! The best lineup was during covenant. Trey, Pete, and and David. Second best was domination when Rutan joined.

  • hell yeah best line up was just them three!!

  • And Brunelle? I think he was better than Rutan, Altar of Madness & Blessed are the Sick man. David, Trey, Richard & "Commando" Pete the BEST line up ever in Morbid Angel... IMO

  • the best line up

  • Awesome.

  • fucking win!

  • Left field is an understatement.

  • when trey is playing the promised land solo by himself it sounds soo good i love listening to him play guitar

  • I never liked Steve Tucker...I miss Erik!

  • steve was ok but he is no d.v.

  • hes better

  • MORBID ANGEL

ive listened to so many death metal bands over the past 10 years,

but these guys were the first i heard in the genre, and they are the still the best when it comes to creative music in death metal.

my opinion, but i beleive this to be the truth

many thanks for a great look into there world man

  • jeez. I know vincent probably refuses to learn songs that aren't his own but Summoning Redemption is pretty awesome tune. I hope to hear it live someday.

  • That would be so fucking gay cause their best albums are gateways, formulas and heretic.

  • well, when i looked at their setlist for 2006 tour i didn't notice any songs from those albums. I'm surprised at your comments i think David Vincent is a superior vocalist. his style fits MA quite well. I still would like to hear from those albums.

  • what about covenant

  • hell no man... gateways was pretty tight but covenant was the fucking bomb. domination was great also.

  • i agree. that solo is sick

  • haha yea...I love Trey's style very unstoppable form of deathmetal.

  • treys guitar playing is very abstract.sometimes he can go in left field with it and thats what keeps me interested.

  • your right he does incorperate classical influences his music; I already knew that.

I just thought it was grindcore deathmetal.

    my bad idiot.

  • This is the solo that kicked it off.

Alot of people talk shit about grindcore but their a bunch of pussies.

Fake Classical players can't play a solo like that, they would think its a bunch of bullshit and you know why because it's not their style to master real eletric guitar 7 - string grindcore mastery solos. One mans poison can be another man's medicine.

Hail real grindcore and real classical music.

The rest of you shit talking closed minded pussies can stfu now.

  • dude shut up this isnt even grindcore you idiot, grindcore is known for being loud noisy and unskillfull and the most grotesque form ov music, most good metal guitarists that incorperate classical into their music are death metal guitarists, so dont rant about grindcore on this because youll annoy more people and look like a real dumbass

  • Lol he already looks like a madd jackass.

  • be careful with this one. Before Pete Sadoval (drummer)played in Morbid Angel he was in a grindcore band called Terrorizer.

  • yeah i know. they fucking rule.

  • 'Grindcore', lol, what a joke.

  • isn't pig destroyer's guitarist highly regarded?

  • morbid angel is pure floridian deathmetal

  • Słychać tam polską rozmowę, jednak rodak wszędzie dupę wsadzi hehe

  • The place where it was recorded is in Belgium (Hof Ter loo)

  • Thanks!

  • EXTREME STEEL TOUR w/ PANTERA and BEHEMOTH!!!

  • Trey's solo's sound fucking amazing in clean too :P

  • wow look at eric! the young days :)

  • around 3:45 I heard polish words :)( I'm from Poland). It was a tour with Behemoth I think.

  • yes that tour was with Behemoth, the complete set is on 3 dvds included with parts of Behemoth

  • Whats the name of that dvd?

  • that dvds don´t have a name, they are not available in shops, only in the trading circle

  • @morbidvideos where could one aquire such dvds...

  • very powerful vocals...

  • haha this is fucking awesome! thanks for posting

  • FUCK YES thanks sooo much for posting this can't get enough of gateways live footage

  • this would ahve been a fucking sweet show

  • FUCKEN AMAZING!

    Awesome Vid

  • Awesome. The songs being practiced

are Summoning Redemption and World Of Shit (The Promised Land). Hail Morbid Angel.
