I just bought the same joystick just a couple days ago, and it doesnt work right out of the box. the ps3 wont read it. does anyone have any suggestions?
hey there sir, i am having some trouble modding my fightstick in the same manner you did, i wrote you a PM with some questions, if you could check that out and get back to be i would greatly appreciate it.
Hey can somebody help me? I got the SF4 TE madcatz fightsick, but i also have a retrocompatible "fat" ps3, and play some games for the PS2 on it, like Guilty Gear, and Capcom vs SNK 2, KOF, etc, and i dont know why but the madcatz arcade stick doesnt work when i want to play this PS2 games on my PS3, is there anything i could do to change it ot somebody know which arcade stick should i get? to play ps2 games on a retrocompatible ps3 D: SORRY BAD ENGLISH.
do you know if there is any diference between the street fighter and the super street fighter sticks? i want to buy one and i really wnat to know if one of those is better than the other one
Just stumbled upon this video but man this is awesome. I plan to find a site so I can get my Tatsunoko stick on the Wii modded so I can use it for all 3 of my systems, but now I'm starting to like this Wireless idea a whole lot now.
Also is there difference between the two. Is the wireless fight stick more expensive? Some guy was selling the first version for 130 but isaw the tournamet one for 150$. I don't know if it's Canadian or us. Where are u residing. Please help I'm a huge street fighter fan. Grew up on this game. Used to play on the arcade a lot. I'm sick of playing on the ps3 controller.
Hey florescatracho im really loostI hope you can help me with this man. I'm really looking to buy a fight stick. Someone is selling the regular fight stick for 130 but I see the tournent edition one is for 150. Is there a big difference between both. Does the first fight stick has sanwa parts. Do you know any place where I can get these sticks. Help please. Huge street fighter fan. Sick of playing on the ps3 controller can't pull all the combos.
because I have 2 dogs that run all over the place, one of them already took a 360 down by tripping on the cord of a play and charge kit. This avoids any more accidents.
@florescatracho That would be the play and charge kits fault for not having quick disconnects, the TE stick should have it? I know my 360 one does.. Dunno if the PS3 comes with those kinda things..
@florescatracho since its wireless, does it lag or is it responsive when pushing the buttons and moving the joystick , etc... And is it rechargeable or battery replaceable?..Even if its a wireless, can you connect a wire to it then continue to play with it?
@COOLERU proffesional players thave tested it out. The only disadvantage of wireless at this point and the only reason why they are not allowed in tournaments is because the battery might die.
Can you take a picture of the interior workings? I would like to compare this to the SE stick; I am gonna guess that the only diffrence is the sanwa parts and the weight of the box. Other then that the circuit controls could be the same
I'm in the middle of modding my stick now with ShinJN's Axisdapter. Can you explain how you connected the PS Home button to make the LED lights work like the Sixaxis controller? Or post another video of you opening up your fightstick so we can see your circuitry.wiring in there??
hey I want to Do this to a madcatz sf4 SE edition stick and the only real difference between the TE AND SE is the sanwa parts so i belive the main boards are the same could you send me step by step pictures and instructions to do this mod?
you need a sixaxis controller some dual shock work but go with the sixaxis better! also you need an extension that you can get from shinjn from shoryuken forums and thats all you need very easy to put together! if you want the light like the one in the video you need to solder and you need to be good or you can damage the pcb of the sixaxis and stick! I dont think you need the light though but light is just fancy stuff ! awesome video red commet!
if you have a backwards compatible ps3 then it should work fine, its using the insides of an official sixaxis controller, whatever the sixaxis works with, this stick will work with it.
hey i want to ask is it easy to mod or change the buttons on the TE stick i heard you can actually just plug stuff in instead of soldering it on and stuff and can i add LED lights aswell to the buttons? and real question is....would it be hard?
Wireless = Impractical. There may be no cords, But it's especially annoying when the battery runs out in the middle of the game not to mention disrupt the entire flow of a match. Additionally Wireless controllers always have input lag. Even 0.010 of a second can give you disadvantages in a game.
I don't know about you, but I have never had sixaxis controller die on me, the battery on this arcade stick lasts me well over a week and it still has a 3rd of the battery left. The battery on a 360 controller runs dry after 3 or 4 days. So far I haven't noticed any lag, maybe it's because i'm used to wireless remotes.
hey i ordered an axis adapter from shinjn so let me know whats going on? i for sure want to do my SE instead, you said you need find prices out for somethings or whatever, and i already have a sixaxis controller still intact, ill send it with the stick to you, let me know whatelse i need to get , also do you do led button light up? or is that just too much to ask for, ive got clear seimistus coming in the mail from lizrd lick
ill even make arrangements and pay you and send you my stick if you can do the same, i have an extra ps3 controller i can get the axis adaptor, unless you want to do a sticky but u need another stick :/
okay so how do u charge the pcb? i mean u have it in your stick where do i plug it in? where do u get parts if u have it extended ? did u get the premade sixaxis adaptor kit or no? i really wanna do this to my fight stick this is really sick
it charges with the USB cable that comes with the tournament edition. The cable still stores in the compartment and you can just take the cable out to charge it.
what are the measurements on the ball and pushbuttons?
