  • camaro is australian underneath,

challenger is what i call a true muscle, great sounds, badass looks and they throw in bad handling for good measure lol

all the dna is still there.,,

  • I have the feeling that your retarted! Now first i will say it my favorite car of all time but the mustang and camero kicked the challengers ass in the competition the only thing the challenger was good with the handleing! Thats the only thing! The only hope is the " saleen motor sport" or sms 570X dodge challenger but it wont count cause it was upgraded by saleen!

  • lol you guys are arguing about muscle cars the charger, challenger, camaro, and mustang all are great cars if you wanna argue about chevy, dodge, an ford go to a mud bog video and argue about a silvarado, f150, and ram talk crap about any muscle care and you dont know much classics are they best thing ever

  • If I wanted to see imaged i would have used google you dumb fuck

  • ive got the challenger srt-8 and sometimes i fell bad for those guys that think thy are the shit in there hondas

  • Gotta get one... thats my goal for 2011...

  • Once I get my challenger I can see some little shitheads pulling up next to me with their crappy four cylinder honda racer with dumbass huge spoiler. All I will do is laugh at them and rev the engine untill they piss their pants.

  • If I were going to spend $40K for a fast car, I'd pass right over the new Challenger and get a used Porsche Cayman. I just couldn't live with the new Challenger. It's cool, but every morning I'd look at it in the driveway and just think about how much better the original was. With its fat, low ridin' profile, ridiculous rims and rubber-band tires, it just kills everything sleek about the old Challenger. It used to look strong and fast. Now it just looks like a brick.

  • Obviously you haven't actually driven the original challys. They were very heavy even for its time. Plus these cars are stronger and faster, sure it was a bit shorter in length and width but these car is still very sexy.

  • I honestly don't care how it drives. If the new Challenger performed like a Ferrari FXX and the old one performed like a Toyota Prius, I'd still take the old one. It looks that much better. The new challenger only really starts to look good when you modify it to the balls, like the Drag Pack or 1320 Concept versions. Those are properly gnarly cars that just ooze muscle. The car in stock form just isn't sleek enough to look good. It simply requires the gigantic drag slicks and shaker hood.

  • @TheDarkKnight0001 I agree 100% But i love going old school!

  • That's why I'm keeping my '73. It's a beater, but It's MY beater and it will weld the doors shut on any import near me.

  • @drizzetsrevenge You tell'em drizze! Does it have a 340 in it?

  • It's a built 360 from an old Cordoba ;D

  • Cordoba, does it have Corinthin leather in it? Just kidding. What color is it? I have a 73 with a 340 in it, Top Bannana, Love it!!

  • Haha if only! It's primer right now. Were getting ready for paint. Still haven't decided yet.

  • Cool, I'm sure you are having a blast restoring it, your way!

  • No doubt there! Can't beat that stock body though! Gonna keep the body stock and menacing.

  • I like stock also and am keeping mine that way. Top Banana has grown on me and it gets lots of looks but Black is the most menacing color i have ever seen!

  • @JETZcorp I agree 100% except for the Porsche part. I would take the 40K and buy an old school challenger, just me.

  • I'd love to have an old Challenger, but I think $40,000 might be a little thin for one in good condition with a decent motor. I'm not sure on that, but I gather they're pretty expensive. Plus there's gas and everything else. If it turned out that a good Challenger could be had for $40K, I'd take it over the Porsche, too.

  • The economy is so bad. I was killing time last summer, pulled into a classic car dealership and ended up walking out with a 1973 Challenger. It is in great shape and runs great! I snagged it for 13K. Check out some on-line, like Ebay motors. You would be surprised what you can find for under 20K. I hope you find one for yourself!

  • I think you may have just changed the course of my life. Of course, I'm just getting to that "poor college student" phase of my life, but after that I'm hoping to be a mechanical engineer, where the starting pay tends to be rather good. I'll definitely look into a Challenger (or a Cuda or a Charger) at that point. What a car to drive to work in!

  • Cool, your a Mopar man! I've never been a gear head and never thought i would own some sweet muscle. I to thought i could never afford such a sweet car. I saved a little here and there and almost bought a cherry 1970 SS Nova. But when i found my Challenger i knew it would give me years of pleasure and it has! It sure is fun to look for just the right car! Take your time and find the car you love. Good luck in school!

  • @JETZcorp So you're studying mechanical engineering? Do you mind me asking where? Im studying the same thing at Texas atm University.

I also own a 2008 charger r/t and a 70 challenger 440. Working on the chally is one of my favorite hobbies ever. I strongly encourage you doing youre research.

Cuz it was the best decision i ever made.

Trust me... once you go mopar, anything else with wheels is out of the picture lol (mopar guys you understand me) :-p

  • @msbaugh440 Haven't started yet, but I hope to get my degree from Oregon State University. But of course, before I can get a Challenger I have to get a Dakota, because I can't live unless I can load up the dirtbike and go riding. Incidentally, the next bike I want to get also happens to be a 440 Magnum, though it was made in Pfaffingen rather than Detroit.

  • @msbaugh440 dude there is no r/t for 2008.... either ur retarded or a fuckin lyer!!!

  • @JETZcorp I have a 70 challenger. Also a 2010 challenger r/t. and I can tell you this... you won't feel that way at all. Of course the 70 looks much better. But, Ill tell you the new one turns heads also.. It's an excellent car. And side by side it's obvious that they are twins. If you want pictures I'll send you some.. I hope to change your idea about it. Coming from someone who has both believe me

  • @msbaugh440 bro send me some pics ive been wanting so see the pair next to eachother. i just dont know anybody that has them.

  • umm i dont know who thinks that a stock challenger will beat a stock camaro but if you do your smoking crack

  • Chevy was late to the game like usual. That way they knew what everybody else had...

  • very true but it worked for them thier camaro is smoking pretty much all and if the camaro wont do it the zr1 will for half the price .........thats the truth

  • @MoparShowroom not to forget the Challenger is heavier.

  • @MoparShowroom dude, u need to learn your shit. Chevy had been broadcasting what they were going to do with the Camaro since 2006. Dodge rushed the Challenger into production once they realized that chevy was bring the Camaro back. And dodge put the Challenger into production before theCamaro so that they could hurry up and get a head start in sales. Just look at the sales numbers, once the Camaro came out challenger sales plummited. I love the Challenger, but its not better

  • @MoparShowroom Hahaha im a ford guy but I just have to point something out to you- chevys late as usual? The original Challenger was the last muscle car to come out...

  • @MoparShowroom Amen

  • @MoparShowroom ?LOL The camaro came first in fall 66....

Challenger only in 1970.... Your comment dont have any sense...

  • @80v8camaro, i like tht u know ur shit, usually people dont, an try to argue talking major lies an bullshit, but u.. no short simple an right to the point

  • @80v8camaro pretty sure he was talking about the new models homeboy

  • @MoparShowroom i call that being smart, like ford, ford did just the same thing for the mustang --chevy showed ford up early for 2012 ford waited until chevy posted specs then ford slammed us chevy lovers with a 550hp mustang... its smarts, if you wait u can out beat the other "person" of course this is what a gm dealership buddy told me its how things work... but sometimes chevy-ford-dodge dont wanna wait to find out so they do there best without knowing what each other got ready

  • @ap13461 By the numbers the Camaro beats the Challenger, but the Challenger beats it in ride comfort and fit n finish and usefulness.

I'm a chevy guy, but the Challenger wins in my book which is why I bought one. My SRT8 is very comfortable to drive on longer trips. Whereas the Camaro was way to rough for me.

  • @ap13461 yes actually you're right it will beat a stock challenger... but only by 1/4 of a second in the 1/4 mile and .3 seconds in 0-60. Not that big of a deal.

The better car is the one that makes you happier when you drive it. Ive driven both and the camero really is not that impressive when behind the wheel

The challenger is more fun to drive b/c it turns more heads everywhere you go. The camero looks good but is simply sub par in looks compared to the chally. Plus cameros are everywhere

  • @ap13461 camaro sux challenger owns

  • @ap13461 i know its a years ago but now chally is on top with the new 392. beating the ss and 5.0

  • @TJDeadkid lets see it beat the zl1 or the 302 now

  • thats a rip off i recently went to go and get my dodge rams oil changed and i allways go in the show room to look around at the new cars and there was srt8 challenger for 55 k almost fully loaded and thats in canada man and everything here is getting expensive like it`s austrailia but in the u.s everything is always cheaper but wow man 70 k for srt8

  • mamasela al dueño ps...

    pinshe bato pobre!!!

    pinshe ojete jodido!!!!

vende atu madre por ese carro pendejo.

y luego se la mamas al ke te lo venda.

  • disregarding performance, the challenger looks way better than the camaro. even tho the interior of the challenger kinda sucks. aww who cares, look at that baby! i could live with its lackluster interior.

  • my srt8 was around 50,000 dollars

  • the new one needs to be on a deit its looks taller fatter then the original if i had one i would shrink its over all higth to match the original

  • Challenger>camaro

  • thay need to make a 4 speed one like the old school ones

  • Unbelivably interior for an american car? How unpatriotic is that? That car should race my camaro. I belive I may have something for it! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

  • yeah well go look at what a '71 challenger is worth then go look at what '71 camaro is worth.....challenger=300,000 while camaro=20,000

  • It'll certainly whip up the new Camaro!

  • yea the hemi is not the kind of engine to mess with haha its kill chevy and ford

  • aint that the truth

  • hell ya it is
