Hi, thanks for your comment.

It is a clear lexan body that you paint from the inside, the white you see at the beginning is only a protection film.

The stickers come with the car so no need to paint them!

have rocks or other debris ever gotten in the gears, it looks kinda like a weak point

The plastic gears are very reliable when it comes to rocks and debris, but they have some problems with heating up. In my eyes it is the only must have tuning at the car, steel gears for the second gear pair. cost 60€. The first gear pair doesn't have this problem. If you want to have a better inner protection than get the RaceRunner from MCD it is almost perfect sealed. I knew that from the beginning but the look of the truck is awesome. In very sandy conditions I use my RaceRunner body shell.

Traxxas stinks. They never update their models, they just make them more sparkly and appealing. You have to realize these things are also twice the size, they are way cooler than nitro

With the highest gearing an 26 Zenoah that runs max. 15500rpm and tires with a size of 165mm you can theoretical achieve a speed of 133,9 km/h

Go to rc-xtreme(dot)de there you can find an excel sheet where you can calculate the max. speed with all relevant data.

It is a single speed BUT you have 4 gears (see video) that you can change. So you can have setups that range from something around 30 km/h to over 100 km/h.

I think it is worth every single cent, a very solid and reliable model car. But find out yourself and try to find somebody near you that has a MCD so that you can see it in real life and maybe take a test drive.

Sweet dude - how does the drive train and clutch stand up reliability wise? Not very familiar with these 4x4 1/5th scalers myself - but especially on concrete I imagine the strain put onto the diffs and stuff with all that grip is quite big?

After almost one year I can say that the drive train is really reliable. Everything is made out of well hardened steel!!! I maybe have to replace the diff exits (cups) but I will wait 5 more liters!
