  • @greenwichwitch Each clay has a specific bake temperature and time. It will say on the package.

  • THANKS!

Each sculpt takes different amts of time depending on how long it's been since my last sculpt and how often I get distracted (5 kids and a hubby!). I am still a novice sculptor and often I work a bit, then put it down until the inspiration/time hits me to sculpt on it again, often the next night or whenever. Some artists start with cold porcelain and switch to polymer. Some even go back and forth. It is always fun to try! Remember to give yourself time to adjust to the new medium!

  • UNBELIEVABLE!!! JUST BEAUTIFUL.

How long does the process take? I have never tried to make one, never even worked with polymer clay but in watching your work, it is inspiring me to try. Only have worked with cold porcelain, gumpaste and fondant. Keep posting your beautiful work. Thanks.

  • @Kittytlvr thanks for your nice words! some days I can whip one out, other days I squish & start over frequently. When I've been sculpting a lot, it goes quicker. But lately I've been not sculpting much so it will take a bit of time to get the knack again.
