  • How long should u keep the bands in???

  • @shelly7rox

Most ladies band hair overnight to during the day if they aren't going anywhere, lol...for little kids you can turn it into a style, so one-two days for them.

  • u have lovely hair

  • you have beautiful thick long hair... i love it in the fro!!

  • Thank you, thanks you THANK YOU for posting this video. Banding has been the best thing for my hair. No more damaging blow drying effects, super easy to do. My hair has grown so much! You rock.

  • Great Tips:

My hair is a little over 8 inches but you could never tell because its really curly and I have a tiny Afro is that normally the case because I've seen others with the same length hair or even shorter but with a bigger Afro, is that clearly down to hair type I think I'm a 4b

  • Girl you are beautiful!

  • hey how ru i loved that and how ur hair came out im a new fan

  • i luved the final result , the twist thing really suits u :)

  • Hey LaBellaNatural; loved the tutorial!! u were very helpful, and good at explaining your technique!

  • I love that big hair, you look beautiful!!!

  • I really like the more conservative hair do. I will definitely try it, looks great !

  • Check out this new way to straighten hair without a flat iron: CurlyRemix com

smooth healthy hair with no damage!

  • Have you ever straighten ur hair!!!!

  • If it wasn't for youtube I would never have known how many different ways to do my hair!!! I have never heard of banding, but now I will be trying it the next time I wash my hair. I love being black!!! Thanks for posting the video!

  • Why are you so freaking hot? ;)

  • LOVEEEEEEEEEE Your Natural!!

  • cute

  • You are so pretty! and i love the styling you decided to do with your stretched out hair.

  • Hair is so beautiful!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH!!! Your fro is HUGE!! Omg! How long have you been natural?

  • Gurrrrrl, your hair is FIERCE!!!! I don't like attention either but if my fro was like yours, couldn't noooooobody make me pull it up ibn one!!1 WORRRRRRRRK!!! <3 IT!!!

  • yuu look juss like my cousin. she juss went natural too

  • Banding works best for me. I tried twists and braid for stretching, and it stretched, but I didn't like the way my hair looked.

  • You and your hair are absolutely stunning!

  • sistaGURL that is a FIERCE FRO!!!!

  • wow your style at the end was super cute.

  • she doesnt need a relaxer natural hair is much better than relaxed her

  • Do you wear a scarf at night when your hair is banded?

  • Does your hair shrink again after wetting it.?

  • sis, you are beautiful and so is your hair. it's so thick and lush, love it!

  • YOU DID SUCH A GREAT JOB YOUR HAIR HAS GROWN OR STRETCHED SO MUCH IT LOOKS SO PRETTY <3

  • Love your hair! looks thick and healthy!

  • the hair bands that you are using look like they are made from cotton, I use to use bands similiar to those, but no longer do, because cotton strips the hair of it's natural moisture

  • Is banding healthy for the hair? It won't make the hair break where the bands are?

  • Thanks for sharing

  • LOVELY!

  • Have you tried braiding cuts of satin scarf between your braids?

I hear it's great and the satin is better for your hair... Just an idea, but thx for your video, I enjoyed watching:)

    X

  • @Tasharasvids I was going to say that. Wwhat I do is use a long strands of fabric and braid it along my hair kind of like you would with extension braids except with fabric ( preferably stain or silk) you can make your hair thick or thin, dries really fast and works really nicely for me.

  • u looked so lovely

u seem like a sucha niice person

    cnt stand these fkcin haters

  • ugh why all the negatibity ?! not even necessary. can u delete these stupid comments from these no life idiots. kinda killin the mood...

  • Your hair is gorgeous!!!

  • @kysnzcollect7 Girl, your hair looks a hot nappy mess as well. STFU.

  • YOU GO GIRL!!! *naturally does the black panther fist*

I'm gonna give it a try this weekend. I don't typically wear a fro so I'm hoping that it will look right on me.

    THANK YOU PURDY LADY!.

  • love your hair nothing was wrong with wearing the fro though LOL I do like both styles

  • @bedstuygirl481 Why would you even say that? Not only is that rude and inconsiderate, last time I checked it was HER HAIR and it is none of your business to tell her if she needs a relaxer or not. I'm sure your mother taught you better than to be unnecessarily rude. If you have nothing nice to say or comment on the style then STFU!!!

  • @omonaijanimi Bytch STFU!

  • @bedstuygirl481 Perhaps you should switch to decaf?

  • @bedstuygirl481 It's always the ones without pictures that want to pop off at the mouth. Smh.

  • @bedstuygirl481 As we can tell, you don't love your african self at all lol.

  • Cute style

  • god you got long hair hun beautiful

  • I tried banding, but I don't like the Goody bands I use, because the spot where they're fused together is rough & they have a tendency to tear my hair. What name brand are you using?

  • I love your style....you are such a doll....thanks for sharing.

  • i REALLY do this. I share it on twitter.

  • I love your hair. Very nice

  • YES 227 THUMBS UP 4 U

  • Your hair is beautiful, I feel I see my hair when

I was a kid and I miss it. Kisses

  • You are such a nice person. Thank you for sharing your hair journey!

  • I absolutely LOVE your hair!!!!!

  • great vid!

  • i wish my hair was that thick n long

  • i like the last hair style,, but not the afro..

  • Finally, I found someone w/ my hair texture! Love the banding technique. I can see how now I can go from a wet conditioner style to a big fro using this technique to my fav the chunky twist out... I've been natural since 1991 and I have learned more in the past 2 years then the 18 prior. Thank you!

  • Where did you get the big "seamless" comb? Thank you for sharing.

  • You're afro is beautiful :D. it fits you so well :D.

  • OOh girl, I LOVE your hair! =) I wish mine was poofier, but I will use our suggestion- fabulous =)

  • @ExPartyGirl By the way, I just tried this banding method. My hair came out softer and longer, but had a more..softer curl...like a wavy poof, rather then the more defined curl..but I like it the change- it's a different look- it's more etheral looking =)

  • well done

  • hey i have natural hair but its not as long as yours so i was just wondering do you braid your hair so it grows that long or you just leave it and use hair products??? thx

  • @xsobbingx I'm a natural BSL and I do a protective style a good 1/2 of the year. Though that's just my hair, it needs that extra bit of protection for the winter but I'm usually running around and whatnot in the Summer, so my hair is getting that natural heat without using heating methods and my hair gets better circulation. Hope this helps you ^^ Oh and I hardly put products in my hair, just a 2-3 day wash day and a leave-in conditioner and oil. AfroVeda has really good natural products.

  • why no metal

  • luv luv the end results!

  • That is really cute!

  • Your hair is beautiful:) The lacio lacio I have heard a lot about it, is it a good leave in conditioner because I'm thinking about ordering some. Thanks for your reply in advance.

  • You have got such a lovely personality. I love your hair, wish mine was as long. My hair is a bit on the coarse side do u think it will work!

Thanks for sharing the tut & keep up the bubbling personality.

  • love it! but girl you was looking all crazy at first with two buns and a the banded section! lol, thanks for sharing much love girl

  • Thanks for the banding tutorial and dope end result. I am really diggin' that twist back style, definitely gonna try it. :~)

  • Omg!! I love it!! girl your complexion is so lovely! and red looks nice on you. I have a problem with shrinkage when I blow out my hair. Will banding cut back on the shrinkage? It's very humid in my city and I really want to rock a fro that will last longer than a few hours :(

  • how long have you been natural? your hair is pretty!

    :-)

ah and if you dont mind me asking, what is your average growth per month?

    :-)

  • Very nice end result!

  • Very Pretty! I appreciate the tips I demo. I need to give banding a try because my hair needs a break from the drier.

  • you're adorable. enjoyed the video~

  • Your. fro. Rocks!!!!!

  • your so pretty to me

  • beautiful hair!

  • Kay, I'm super jealous! Lol.

  • very prtetty really enjoyed the vid and the results...have u ever done stretching with weave thread and if so what r u thoughts..if u have not would like to still know ur thoughts

  • alot of african american women i see strecth their hair, it just makes ur hair weaker and fall out, yall are taking zeh easy way out just to get longer hair er something? , er if u want ur hair smooth, they have kink curl products and mixed chicks instead of strecthing ur hair

  • @randomgirl881 i do braid outs to stretch my hair b/c i like the definition and i dont always want shrunken curls. idk what these ppl you know are doing when they stretch their hair, but my hair is very healthy and in no danger of falling out.

my hair is the length it is, i like to show my length, doesnt mean i'm taking the "easy" way out.

  • @mcamurray i never said you was taking the easy way out, im just saying my own opinion :/

  • @randomgirl881 " yall are taking zeh easy way out just to get longer hair er something?" <== that's EXACTLY what you said.

and you stated no opinion, all you said was a women YOU see have their hair getting weaker and falling out and you ASSUMED it was b/c theyre stretching it. im starting to think you dont even know what it means to stretch the hair and are mistaking it for straightening, but im not getting into that.

  • @mcamurray 1sti know what im talking about

2nd i wasnt talking to you , i was expression my opinion

  • @randomgirl881 you weren't talking to me but i was talking to you. you stated your "opinion" on a public forum and i responded to it. your "opinion" was formed based on false assumptions that youve made. a) stretching the hair does not weaken it and will not make make it fall out. b) noone is "taking zeh easy way out to get longer hair" your ASSERTIONS (not opinions) are incorrect. pls dont reply to me anymore.

  • @mcamurray you came and talked to me, so..yea, and i have the right to say w/e i want

  • @randomgirl881 you must be either really young or really slow, either way im done b/c you clearly have flawed communication skills

  • @mcamurray how come your still talking to me? leave me alone plz, im done i have my own opinions

  • @randomgirl881 It's been a year since you posted this comment. Hopefully, you know how to spell now.

  • @CrownJewel32 It has been over a year now , yes. get over what i said , please. I have made my mistakes honestly, but there is no need to continue with a fight that has alright died.

  • @randomgirl881 Damn......I didn't see this comment before my initial post to you. LOL WOW You are one illiterate mutherfucker and this is the reason others should bypass your comment cause you OBVIOUSLY don't know what you're talking about. "Expression my opinion" LOL WOW! I can't believe you can even use a computer, homie.

  • @CrownJewel32 And it is sad you carried this on, please just shut up...

  • @randomgirl881 I see you're still a dumb ass cause if you weren't you would know I can't shut up since I'm not even talking, idiot. Thank you for confirming what I originally thought----you're a dumb ass. Congratulations!

  • @CrownJewel32 Sweety, listen. shut the fuck up, you carried this shit on . It was a fucking year ago, get over it. and im the dumbass? ohk. you're sad and our convo is done.

  • @randomgirl881 You're an idiot. Nuff' said!!!

  • @CrownJewel32 Ok then.

  • @randomgirl881 I see Im not the only one having issues with this particular YouTuber. Just ignore her, she has spammed me with her nonsense on several videos of which I've commented on MONTHS, if not, over 2 years ago. She's far too into this natural hair thing and refuses to be proven wrong and wont stop until she has the last word.

  • @Dark0Malkavian thank you :) and yes, she spammed me so much over b.s. thanks though girl :)

  • @randomgirl881 You're extremely ignorant. How is banding damaging to the hair? It's only ponytails going down each puff. I could see if she was trying to relax or flat iron her hair----then you'd have a point but you don't. And, most women want longer hair. Why should she have to settle for a fro shrunken to her scalp?

  • Thank you for all of your compliments I really appreciate the love!

  • @LaBellaNatural Thank you so much for the demo...feel like I just got a tip for life!!
