Dear @AbuKhattab234 (speaking about friendship) anda to answer your question: That man is the great Camilo Cienfuegos. One of the pilars of the first steps of the Cuban Revolution. Great estrategist in the first phase of the military struglle agains't Fulgêncio Baptista's troops. Camilo had grown as a legendary hero from the hills and turned into one of the trust men in the Fidel Castro's team during the nealers (the first ones) polical negotiation with foreign nations after the triumph
I never said I supported the war crimes,.. from any side.. all I said was I was Born in His Revolution and I'm proud of it. I'm a current McGyaver thanks to Fifo.
I want to know why people talk so good about Fidel... Like seriously people who are not from Cuba do not know shit about Fidel, and think they do.
No he is not good he Killed more than a handful of people due to Supporting Freedom, Something in which Cuba does not have and its what the Cuban Civilization want. The Cuban Civilization is not brainwashed, We know what Fidel has done to us, We cannot eat when we want to, We cannot buy Goods that we life,We Don't have any freedom.
Well guys Occupy Wall Street first. And what should be the incentive in a socialist system is love, love for humanity, for your friend, and everyone. Love is enough. The problem is that we only practice one kind of love... man and woman so you can fuck a girl, we need to practice many kinds of love to be prepared for a socialist society. You can´t live in a socialist system with our individual point of view.
@erad67 've been to Cuba and it's completely weird. I was curious to visit a Communist country and having witnessed it can honestly say that for all its ills, you have to have capitalism to some degree. Because there is no competition, there is no incentive and no sense of service in any shops, hotels etc. There is barely any food in supermarkets and lots of bored, unhelpful staff almost outnumbering customers. The vast majority of people are very poor. It's not a good situation atall.
if anyone here is cuban or know what this man has did you wouldnt seem so happy i understand he seems nice except my family, my logic, my very native country, tells me he wasn't always bad until he became president
I kind of wish I was alive when this was all happening. I wasn't interested in this stuff when i was in high school, but now it seems to be the most interesting thing in the world!! I have much to learn about the Cold War but luckily i have the benefit of unlimited unbiased resources (larga vida a la internet!)
you know i wonder if castro would like our government more if we didint support batista. I have nothing against him or pro him but he made himself look like an idiot when he said bin ladens death was murder.
Now for extra credit- The same exact thing happened with Ho Chi Minh. Discover the real history of the "Vietnam War." Ho wanted us to back him and cut a deal with us, in the overthrow of the French. We told him where to go, in no uncertain terms. We backed the lame French, and he cut a deal instead with Russia and China.
@at7004 ok,so according to you everyone came to the US to get help, and turned them down,US has never turned down rebels,in the past and now,so what you its bulshit,
Read the history that never made it to your history books. (For obvious reasons) Whilst Batista was still in power, Castro tried to cut a deal with us to back him. He flew flew here in order to meet with President Eisenhower, and made it as far as a meeting with V.P. Nixon. Nixon listened to him politely, and sent him packing off back to Cuba. Probably thinking- "Who the hell is this audiacious nobody think he is???" We forced his hand into cutting a deal with the Soviets.
in my opinion it is just unbelievable how the world and especially the us looks at fidel castro. i mean every sane human beeing would appreciate him for what he has done and what he is still doing when there wouldnt be the media.
my point is : THEY CAN JUST SEE WHAT KIND OF PERSON HE IS AND THEY STILL DON'T REALIZE THAT THEY WERE BRAINWASHED !
If my memory and history serve me well, I believe Castro lived in NYC when he was in his early 20s/college age. And had his wife here as well. For about one year or something. He even rented an apartment in the Bronx I believe. Anyway, for the real history you won't find in the books, Castro tried to cut a deal with us to back him, and over throw Batista. We would not give him the time of day, and forced him into Soviet hands. What idiots we have as leaders. Same thing with Ho Chi Minh.
@abdulqudz89 that is exactly how I feel, Ya gotta give him a bit of respect, the guy has been targeted for assassination by pretty much everybody, and no one has come close.
It shows if US corporations leave that there is always another supplier of goods. You take away your oil drills you take away your planes you take away all you brought to steal from us and all we did was just do business with someone else who is the winner?
@casinohijack Castro, because his people aren't being exploited and being paid pennies per hour and starving to death like they were when American industry was legal in Cuba.
@ClownMasquerade One thing you can say about Castro and Che they were Revolutionaries and with all the Revolutions that are being taken place in the world rite now its no wonder these people went through what they did in the past. America corporations and americans were there were just raping and using it as there own pleasure island where they could do all the immoral things they would not do in there communities. Then again we did build Vegas, America's own little whore house.
@ClownMasquerade But we should strive to be better. I ask you when you look around where are the men in this world. I look far and wide with my eyes and i see very few even in a big city its hard to find a big heart. Once i dont know if it was Che or Castro but they had said that a revolutionary must have love in his heart that a revolutionary is never a terrorist. I see people want change i see it in there eyes. I just hope that they have learned enuf to fight what is near to come.
@casinohijack Having worked in the hotel industry there, I can tell you that the "immoral" things not done at home are still being done now, except by tourists from other countries. The only difference is the rape now is from Fidel to his people. There's a reason millions have left, and are still trying to sneak out to this day.
@ReyCanario11 Is Fidel a Mason? I thought once i saw someone point out that he was connected to that. Looking at that society you can see how things can work on a international level with cultures. Bottom line is there connected to the same thing that is if it is true and i think it must i do not think that the Elite would let someone run amok on some island if it was not meant for the betterment of there interests. Were seeing a lot of crooked leaders these days but there going by the wayside.
As much as I like the CoD games I can never forgive the lying, shameless sons of bitches who wrote that script. "Heroic" US assassins trying to kill a man who defied an empire of evil, overthrew it's lapdog torturing and bleeding the people dry and came into power without abusing nearby countries. Fuck you, whoever you are who wrote that piece of shit script. If he was American they'd be on their knees licking his shoes but because he defied their own tyranny he's branded as a "dictator"...
What Fidel was talking about was that American authorities took away his plane, when he came to give a speech. He had to go back to Cuban in a plane provided by Russia. I seriously don't know why his plane was taken away.
cuba was poor when they had the support of the soviet union they where a good country free universal healthcare free education ( an educated society there is never poor) but ones the soviet union collapsed they where on their own and the CIA fucking them lead them to a poor country on todays modern day. but as of now cuba is actually bouncing back thanks to venezuela. they actually have the best doctors in the world.
Why do we, the greatest economic power in the world, continue to cripple this country? Today's Cuba was born in the same manner as our country, yet we allow petty squabbles to continue, and thus doom millions of cubans to a life of poverty.
the reason why cuba is soo poor is has nothing to do with communism it was because the US has a boycott against them and when cuba depended on the soviet union but when it broke the cuban where left alone without any foreing help. if the US hates soo much communism why the hell does he keep borrowing money ffrom china(communism) and to top it off Us factories operate in china. why? because they pay the chinese crap for 15 to 18 hours of work! now you tell me who is the real scumbag here?
Castro is simply a murder and a tyrant, he has been in power by force for the longest time ever by any other totalitarian regime in this continent. He has destroyed what used to be called La Perla de las Antillas, and now is just a bunch of ruins with a badly dressed and nourished population forced to applaud this senile dictator or sent to jail instead. More than 3 million Cubans have escaped his regime and thousand of innocent Cubans have been executed by his hangmen.
@theshadowinc what good is it being able to read and write if you can't do anything with those skills? What good is health care if you live in a prison? Cubans can't spell for shit -they write like this: conoSer = wrong it's conoCer, halla for haya - or worse como esta todo por hay instead of alli. - um health care? Bullshit I went to a 750 bed hospital in pinar del rio.. DISGUSTING it looked like a bomb hit it..
Cuba is a dump it's Castro's fault and people like you who support him
@mrrobjc123 your retarded all spanish speaking countrys speak a different tounge of spanish and write a different type of spanish , spaniards in spain spell cinco and say cinco like tinco so why dont you shut up VIVA CASTRO
@WorkersPartyKorea It's "You're" not as you wrote "Your" so don't talk to me about languages. Cuban Spanish is atrocious and their writing is worse. Fidel could have been a great leader but he lies and doesn't allow free elections.. that's not a leader that is a prison warden. You are (You're) a fool. CastroInstead of being remembered as a great leader who stood up to the great imperialist he will simply be remembered as being stubborn and for ruining Cuba.
@mrrobjc123 you dont know what cuba was like during the batista regime , that motherfucker ruined cuba by letting americans build casino's which made cubans poor by making them spend all there money on gambling and dont say that they were stupid for doing it , americans do the same at las vegas , imagine seeing prostitutes in your country , you dont want to imagine a world where you have to watch people starving and barely hanging on in democracy , something had to happen in cuba
@WorkersPartyKorea - Battista/Castro - two wrongs don't make a right. Fidel promised free elections and never gave that to the people. He lied and tricked them. Why not be a socialist vs a commie bastard
@WorkersPartyKorea It's tongue, Not tounge communist. Oh, and FYI Batista was the past and this is the present. It is the present situation in Cuba that must be resolved. A change has to come NOW! Here is some advice: Remove your dilapidated communist glasses that seem to have severely distorted your sight of reality. You are correct of the different variations of spanish spoken and written in the countries throughout latin america. I will at least give you that. BTW, Do you even live in Korea?
@RolandoC20 my name is a joke , the only thing i admire of north korea is the self reliance of north korea , and theres no such thing as communism its called socialism
The Tugboat "13 de Marzo" was sunk by the forces of the Cuban regime along the Havana littoral on July 13, 1994. The passengers, many families and some operators wanted to flee Cuba to the US. 41 adults and children were murdered attempting to escape the Cuban dictatorship to the land of freedom. They were intercepted by patrol boats and and finally ram and sunk by other tugboats. The Cuban regime refuse to recover the victims' bodies, Including the children.
1) 56 assassinated, including four children, on July 6, 1980, in Cuban territorial waters.
The Canimar is a scenic river that flows into Matanzas Bay. In 1980, the "XX Aniversario," was a large tourist boat, for 100 passengers. On 6 July, 1980, was hijacked by three youngsters who wanted to flee Cuba to the US. Upon taking control of the vessel, the youngsters shouted: "To Miami!" amid screams of approval of the surprised 100 passengers.
2) The boat headed North to open seas, two high-speed Cuban Navy patrol boats intercepted the excursion boat and opened fire. When the patrol boat's withdrew, they left some dead and wounded. The boat was then attacked by a Cuban Air Force plane, which opened fire on the passengers, leaving more dead and wounded and the deck covered with blood. The excursion boat was reportedly very close to international waters when a huge boat rammed the much smaller riverboat in the middle, sinking it.
3) The surviving passengers, now in the water, had to contend with sharks attracted by all the blood. Silvio Aguila Yanes (one hijacker) dove into the water and saved several survivors from drowning. Ten survivors were taken ashore by authorities. The Cuban government claims that Silvio Aguila committed suicide with his pistol. Others report that Sergio was taken from the water by the crew of the Cuban Navy patrol boats and never seen again.
I'd also like to say Batista and Lucky Luciano were horrible sadists and dictators. Also probably 90% of those 2 million exiles abroad are doctors who wanted better pay.
-Thousands of disinterested "experts" in their profession, that studied only to escape the rigors that the totalitarian socialist regime imposes on the rest of the youth like, forced labor in the field or military service or desperate unemployment.
"Poor medical practice, without knowledge of modern methods and medicines.
"Dilapidated and ruined hospitals for the people and lacking essential medicines for animal health .. let alone human beings
.- "Achievements of Fidel Castro in Cuba", 50 years later -
Education:
-An education system completely biased in favor of the totalitarian regime and based on the cult of personality.
-Thousands of young graduates than in Cuba, can not find in the ruins of that nation economy and infrastructure, employment to exercise their knowledge and thereby in a dead end street and leaving Cuba at the first opportunity.
-The highest rate in Latin America in suicide especially among young people.
@ElMataCHE u surely arent defending the US backed dictatorship of Batista?!? a man who sucked the rural poor dry to finance Havana as an urban playground for his wealthy chums, many of them american like, for example, 2 of the most notorious gangsters of all time, Lucky Luciano and Meyer Lansky? a man who financed public torturers??? Long live Castro i say
Well .. The "hiztorys" teaches us that you FIDEL, have end up as a Communist totalitarian dictator and that you've massacred and shot thousands of your own people and imprisoned hundreds of thousands more!
@CaptainOfCuba I love Cuba even more, i am a Cuban exile.
You mean you've never heard of these massacres, or that you don't want to hear?.
Have you hear of "balseros" (raftters) or, Dr: Oscar Elias Biscet ?, sentenced to 30 years for only speaking of human rights for all Cubans and for opposing the indiscriminate abortion of "risky" births
You think that only because a "bad economy" Cubans flee their country with their children in homemade rafts, and risk their lives at any opportunity?
You can say you love Cuba more, but I love Castro. I guess it is him who inspires me to do good things.
So, I will not do good things for my country, I will do good things for mankind.
Batista, everyone hated him, be reasonable. He neglected the people, and kissed the USA's ass. In fact, so many Cubans shook the hand of Castro after the Revolution and said "Thank you, for what you've done for Cuba."
The Mexicans do it to, with a Democratic government. So, yes, we can assume it is due to the economy, I mean, with more money, Cuba would be a nice little slice of land. Happier people. And it is very happy there, too.
Batista has stolen chickens and resources from farmers, executed innocent lives. I have read about, and met Castro. He is not a bad man. He shook my hand, we talked for 2 minutes. He was very nice, and I could tell, that innocent loss of lives is not his intent
I think not comrade. You fuck off. Quit bashing a man who is a hero to Socialism, his people, and his country. He is a good man, and I will not let Capitalists like you insult him in such a manner. Have you no honor?
With Batista you're also wrong .. Yes, he was a dictator, a soft one, and not as bloody or as evil as the current totalitarian dictator Fidel Castro.
Today many people tell many stories and lies of Batista, but his police and army never killed any innocent person, but sometimes killed in shootings, the mafia members of Fidel Castro among others and because they planted bombs that killed innocent people in terrorist acts
this is pretty cool, but are you sure this is actually the authentic Fidel Castro? or is this part of a movie clip? The actual video seems a bit more advanced than 1960.
The man is a Hispanic political genius--and this is the basis of the hatred against him by the Anglo-Irish dominant in the US and by the military industrial complex.

More than 3 million Cubans have escaped his regime and thousand of innocent Cubans have been executed by his hangmen.

kusuyMontreal 1 year ago

@theshadowinc what good is it being able to read and write if you can't do anything with those skills? What good is health care if you live in a prison? Cubans can't spell for shit -they write like this: conoSer = wrong it's conoCer, halla for haya - or worse como esta todo por hay instead of alli. - um health care? Bullshit I went to a 750 bed hospital in pinar del rio.. DISGUSTING it looked like a bomb hit it..

Fidel could have been a great leader but he lies and doesn't allow free elections.. that's not a leader that is a prison warden. You are (You're) a fool. CastroInstead of being remembered as a great leader who stood up to the great imperialist he will simply be remembered as being stubborn and for ruining Cuba.
mrrobjc123 1 year ago
@mrrobjc123 you dont know what cuba was like during the batista regime , that motherfucker ruined cuba by letting americans build casino's which made cubans poor by making them spend all there money on gambling and dont say that they were stupid for doing it , americans do the same at las vegas , imagine seeing prostitutes in your country , you dont want to imagine a world where you have to watch people starving and barely hanging on in democracy , something had to happen in cuba

THE TUGBOAT MASSACRE
The Tugboat "13 de Marzo" was sunk by the forces of the Cuban regime along the Havana littoral on July 13, 1994. The passengers, many families and some operators wanted to flee Cuba to the US. 41 adults and children were murdered attempting to escape the Cuban dictatorship to the land of freedom. They were intercepted by patrol boats and and finally ram and sunk by other tugboats. The Cuban regime refuse to recover the victims' bodies, Including the children.

THE 1980 CANIMAR RIVER MASSACRE.
ElMataCHE 1 year ago
2) The boat headed North to open seas, two high-speed Cuban Navy patrol boats intercepted the excursion boat and opened fire. When the patrol boat's withdrew, they left some dead and wounded. The boat was then attacked by a Cuban Air Force plane, which opened fire on the passengers, leaving more dead and wounded and the deck covered with blood. The excursion boat was reportedly very close to international waters when a huge boat rammed the much smaller riverboat in the middle, sinking it.
ElMataCHE 1 year ago
3) The surviving passengers, now in the water, had to contend with sharks attracted by all the blood. Silvio Aguila Yanes (one hijacker) dove into the water and saved several survivors from drowning. Ten survivors were taken ashore by authorities. The Cuban government claims that Silvio Aguila committed suicide with his pistol. Others report that Sergio was taken from the water by the crew of the Cuban Navy patrol boats and never seen again.

- "Achievements" of Fidel, 50 years later - Society:
-Thousands of executions at, "The Wall ", more than in the entire recorded history of Cuba and more that during the war of independence from Spain.
- More than 580 prisons and labor camps, more that before Castro's take over.. Cuba had only 14.
-Thousands of Cubans drowned at sea, trying to escape the, "Socialist Paradise" of Castro's utopia.
-More than 2 million Cuban exiles abroad. Cuba has only 11 Million people
ElMataCHE 1 year ago 3
@ElMataCHE Other achievements.
One of the best healthcares in the world.
Near to no illiteracy.
Women are equal.
Their is no racism.
There is barely any to no homeless children.
I'd also like to say Batista and Lucky Luciano were horrible sadists and dictators. Also probably 90% of those 2 million exiles abroad are doctors who wanted better pay.
RedZHunter 1 year ago
- More, "Achievements" -
Medicine:
-Thousands of disinterested "experts" in their profession, that studied only to escape the rigors that the totalitarian socialist regime imposes on the rest of the youth like, forced labor in the field or military service or desperate unemployment.
"Poor medical practice, without knowledge of modern methods and medicines.
"Dilapidated and ruined hospitals for the people and lacking essential medicines for animal health .. let alone human beings
ElMataCHE 1 year ago
.- "Achievements of Fidel Castro in Cuba", 50 years later -

ElMataCHE 1 year ago
@ElMataCHE
(Sigh) I cannot believe you.
CaptainOfCuba 1 year ago
@ElMataCHE
